Lupanare

"Senka, Tersek!" Lupanare's howl carried frantically from the outskirts of the Temple, a few hundred yards from where the moat lay. The howl rose again, sharp and urgent as she called for her leaders.

Senka

Senka had been resting when she heard Lupanare. Getting up she stretched and padded to meeet the other.Lupanare?She questions.

Lupanare & Duality

Tersek's call came from a remote location further down the mountain, as the hybrid was out on a patrol. It would be a short while before the other Leader would make it to the scene. Frustrated, Lupanare was about to run to the Temple when Senka emerged through the dying underbrush. "Senka! Something's wrong with Duality, I don't know what happened, I just found her like this."

The lupine turned and dashed away, heading several yards deeper into the mountainous woodlands, before stopping beside the prone form of Duality. The grizzled wolfess was panting shallow breaths from parted jaws, with a trace of foam tracing the edges of his jowls and tongue. Here and there a limb would tense and twitch.

"I found her further off, and managed to drag her this far, but she keeps seizing... I can't get much out of her, but she doesn't look hurt, and she hasn't been sick." Lupanare explained, controlled panic held in her normally lyrical voice. The dreaded thought of rabies had crossed her mind, but she smelt no illness on her friend, at least nothing that she could detect. "She said something about her stomach, but that's about it."

Senka

She follows Lupanare and sniffs at Duality. She is wary of what this might be. has she acted aggressive at all?She questioned with a frown.

Lupanare & Duality

There were no strange scents that came from the stricken canine, no scent of illness or blood could be detected. Her muscles continued to lock up in short spasms, and her breath came more and more shallowed. A few times, Duality made the effort to say something, but no solid words were ever formed.

Lupanare's ears were pasted back and her tail hung low and stiff, "Not at all. We patrolled earlier last night, and she was fine." The wolfess lowered her head and gave the other a soft nudge on the cheek, but Duality didn't seem to notice.

She frowned.did she eat something?She asked

Lupanare lowered her head, sniffing delicately at her friend. Her stomach twisted as she did, finding it hard to watch the other suffering from some unknown source. But she was a Haunter, and she didn't give in to panic as she tried to help Senka figure out what as wrong ith their comrade. "I- I don't know, but I think I smell meat on her breath." Lupa saw no fresh blood on Duality's coat to suggest the wolf had brought down a recent kill, but then she figured her friend could have caught a small rodent or unburied a recent cache. "She did mention something about her stomach."
