Aizen

Aizen had felt the thing on his neck go off but even though he thought it might be high it just tickled so he had made no sound when Ethan had done it. He nodded to them as they ran making sure to leave his scent in various places and making it a misleading trail constantly taking wierd turns and then veering back up his original path before finally he ran across the mote. He was panting by the end of it and plopped down. Silver Fyre This is Senka, Velvet and Blackmist the first one is one of the co leaders and the other an well like advisor or second in command thing sorry im tired to rememberhe mumbled.

Darkia splashed through the water and snorted softly.

Senka slowed to a trot as the crossed the moat and gave a call for Terserk and family knowing they would want to see their son and brother.

Momo and her pups were finally spending time above the basement now that they were old enough to see, eat meat and were a handful. Only one pup seemed to have some type of snaggle tooth but it didn't seem to effect him in any way what so ever just like her own deformity and aizen were mostly just cosmetic, given hers made it so she could not hunt and had to wait for the insides of the animals to be able to eat.

Defiance had a very square build, being broad and soundly muscled with a large head and wide, blunt muzzle akin to the rottweiler. Though not exceptionally fast or agile, he has great endurance and strength. His coat is thick, with a notable mane of fur about his neck. His color is black, with rusty toned guard hairs that give him a red-orange sheen when in the sunlight. Soft brown eyes. He was not the runt nor the biggest. He growled as he was romping around but then his mother called to them and took off toward Senka voice. He huffed and followed after his mother.

Quinn looks like a smaller replica of her mother, being a grizzled gray color. She has more of a buff-cream undertone rather than brown, giving her a lighter, softer appearance. Her fur is also thicker, with a noticeable sheen to it when it's properly cared for. She has normal legs, but one snaggletooth that sticks out from her bottom jaw. Other than its odd appearance, it doesn't hinder her ability to eat or bite. Red-orange eyes. She ran after her mother immediately though she was the runt.

Silver Fyre

Silver Fyre stuck beside Aizen for most of the trip, knowing that the land they were heading into was a dangerous one if you were not a Haunter. She moved with quiet grace, her ebony legs striding with the fluid motion of a wild wolf, and truly she did look like one. The only non-lupine aspect of Silver was the softeness of her otherwise long muzzle, something more akin to a labrador than a wolf, and the feathering on her hind legs. That, and the heavily spiked collar on her neck.

"Pleased to meet you three. Four." Once they were safely beyond the Eskers and back in the Ruins for introductions, Silver took time from observing this unusual landscape to properly greet her abductees. Her ruddy eyes lifted to Darkia, "No hard feelings about before, huh?" She gave the mare a sheepish grin, for Silver was the one who had ultimately trailed and bayed Darkia until Ethan was able to recapture her.

Gaze then flicked to Senka and Velvet, "I do appreciate you taking me in. And I want to assure you that I am not some mush-brained pet; I've retained my wild instincts." Not even aware of the presence of River Monsters, Silver Fyre slid into the moat and paddled across with the pack, then shook herself off on the other side.

Tersek, Velvet, & Cavan

Velvet was quick to shake the water from her sleek coat and spent a moment grooming out some of the duckweed that clung to her fur. She did raise an eye to Silver, a sort of acknowledgement to the wolfdog's show of appreciation. She wasn't entirely sure of this canine's loyalty yet, but whether or not she was fully accepted into the pack was up to Senka and Tersek.

Tersek was not long in arriving. Striding out from the Temple, his eyes initially fell upon Momo and her children. Having been proved wrong about his daughter's potential for malformed offspring, he was hesitantly hopeful that his three grandchildren would grow up even stronger than their mother. Malia worried him some, but so far her stray tooth didn't seem to be any problem. Giving Momo a slight nod, he then turned his attention to the new arrivals. "Aizen! Good to see you back. How did this happen?" The old co-lead didn't rush forward to nuzzle or greet his son, but there was at least relief in his gravelly tones. "And who's this?"

While Tersek was beginning to stalk towards Silver Fyre, another canine made an appearance. Padding slowly, with fumbling steps, Cavan made a rare appearance from the Temple after Tersek had stepped out. Slowly, the old wolf ambled closer to the group, his one good eye struggling to make sense of the faces before him. "What's that on your neck, Aizen?"

Aizen

Aizen was shocked to see the pups trailing after his sister but was also happy for her and he greeted her with the same enthusiasm.im so happy Momo that your free and safe now and you have little ones to boot! he said then his father appears.This is Silver, She was captive like me, She was quiet willing to leave them thoughHe said.it happened cause that human took us for a hunt and well when their focus turned to Darkia I wasn't going to help them in any hunt and we also stumbled into the ame area as Senka and Velvet.Thats when Cavan comes and he frowns as he reminds him of the damn collar.A collar, it shocks me if on if I try to leave his land or if the two legger presses a button. I ... I don't know how to get it off without a two legger thoughhe frowned as he shake his head.

Momo who also had a collar on but not the same one as for the most part she had been tamed in a way back then. She had one similiar to Silver. its a form of torture to force submissionShe spoke up. He used it on me for a short time till I gave in and just obeyedShe said wincing from the thought.

The pups all ambled over.

Senka looked ot Aizens neck and listened.

Darkia eyes the wolf dog warily.Proof your loyalty to us and I will consider you forgiven but no hard feelings other wise as you werej ust being forced to do itShe said.

Ursa followed last walking carefully as she tried to see the best she could. She ended up bumping into velvet as she had been watching her steps.SorryShe said lowering herself in fear of retaliation.

Silver Fyre

The wolfess looked calm on the outside, but her heart was drumming wildly within her black and white chest. Surrounded by wildcats and wolves that she had once hunted, she knew her life could be snuffed out if they decided she wasn't worth the trouble. On the flip side, this was exciting for Silver, to be mingling with truly wild creatures and not being reliant on Ethan for meals and protection.

"Thanks again, everyone." She said, bowing her head deeply and keeping her tail low and near her hindlegs, until she had a time to figure out hierarchy around here. She had a smile for the young ones, and even dropped onto her chest in a playbow when they drew near, "You didn't tell me there were little ones here, Aizen." She grinned up at him, and saw the joy in his eyes as he marveled at what she now knew where nieces and nephews.

And then some grizzled old wolf meandered up to the group, and Silver Fyre wondered just how advanced in age this nearly blind fellow was. Just as she was nodding to Darkia, Silver Fyre switched her attention to the collars that were brought up, "Momo's right on that, Aizen's got a zappy collar. But the good news is, it's not zappy unless he's closer to Ethan, so he should be safe right now. As for Momo and I... it takes human hands to get these things off. The spikes keep us from chewing each other's collar's off, but on the plus side, it protects our necks from bites. So there's that."

Tersek & Others

Blackmist slunk through the crowd to reach the youngsters, tail wagging furiously. "I bet you guys are excited to be out of the Den, huh?" She had all but held her breath when it came to how hardy the pups were going to be, and was relieved to find that they looked perfectly normal and healthy, ultimately validating Momo's argument against her father.

A low rumble had Blackmist suddenly flattening her head and darting a worried glance to Velvet. The big cat had turned and raised a single fang at Ursa for bumping into her, and followed it was a growl to let the wolf know the blunder was no appreciated. After eying Ursa long enough to make sure she got the message, Velvet ceased her rumbling and raised her voice, "Before we all get to comfortable and celebrate this victory, let us remember who caused this problem in the first place. The human is responsible for Momo, Aizen, and Darkia's captures, as well as Nahi's death. He will almost certainly come for us."

Tersek shifted uncomfortably with this reminder. Having been about to address Momo and Aizen, he paused and shared a look with Senka instead, "At the very least, we need to get the raptors in the sky, and keep an eye on those roads nearest to our home. We can't afford to let the humans discover the Ruins."

Senka

Senka was pacing as she listened to everyone frowning as Velvet grew unahppy with ursa it was the wolfdogs fault. easy velvet you know she can't see till its too lateShe reminded the other then listened to each about the humans. She leaped up onto a boulder.we need to build our numbers up and we need to be the ones to take him out before that happens. He will most certainly come looking at least for Aizen, Momo and Silver whether that to take them back or kill them I do not know and do not care to find out. Right now the threat to all of us is this human.

She pauses as she watches Silver for a reaction. I do not wish to kill the animals he has under his control. I wish to free them all from human hands and let them decide where they want to be, if they wish then to continue to fight us then they will die like the human but if they wish to experiance the true wild side then we shall help them adjust to this life as we will help Silver Here figure out how to live as a wild canineShe said. Until this human is permentantly dealt with no one is to go out alone we need all the protection here right now to protect the young and the ones who cannot protect themselves. We are all family here no matter our age no matter our species and no matter our disabilities that may hinder us we will protect everyone in this pack with our lives. She said.

Ursa flinched backwards her tail going under her and lowering further to the ground.

Momo Introduced her pups to aizen and silver. The pups needed to start learning so when the three older animals started to speak she di not take them awy they needed to hear it they needed to know.

The pups tails wagged at them all. They ran over to black and nipped playfully at her till all the talking when they slunk back to their mother.

Aizen watched them all. He stayed next to Silver as he listened.

Tersek & Others

Velvet lashed her tail once as a wordless expression of her irritation, but ultimately submitted to Senka's authority. The lioness gave a small grunt of acknowledgement to her leader before easing back on her haunches and shifting her focus to the discussion on Ethan. And as she listened to what the liger had to say, even the sly Velvet felt a stirring of pride in her heart at the words spoken. "Wise enough, I think that two legger is our biggest potential threat. Dangerous as the Makucha are, we know what to expect from big cats; humans are far more unpredictable in the dangers they bring us, and that one in particular is very cunning."

Tersek too had been moved by Senka's statement, and felt that deep sort of pride and connection to the Haunters. Rallying behind his co-leads speech, he reaffirmed her orders, "We travel in pairs at the very least outside of the Ruins, and do not engage in any two leggers if it can be helped. When we attack them, it will be as a Family. Senka is right, our strength comes from our diversity and our strong bonds, and we will use those to defeat this two-legged menace. Silver Fyre, you will help us with this by telling us his weaknesses and what to expect from him. Aizen, Momo, you can also help with this."

Slowly, Cavan lowered himself to the ground, keeping his head and remaining ear perked up. "We need to reaffirm alliances. Geinah can help with..." The old wolf trailed off, his face contorting into a look of confusion for a moment as his mind wandered. Despite the sudden fog that came to him, it took old Captain only a moment or two to remember who their sole Diplmat was, "Katara? She can help with the alliances."

Senka

She paced to and fro as she listened and spoke. Then frowned.Katara for now is no longer with us, she traded herself for mine , nemu freedom from the Makucha.She said quietly. Her ears temporarly going back.

Aizen just listened.

Silver Fyre

"I ask that you spare my grandfather, Tommy. He won't fight you if I'm there to tell him not to, and he's not much of a threat nowadays anyway." Silver Fyre explained. She watched Senka pace, and Cavan drop to his belly on the cool stone ground. "I'm honestly not sure the others will abandon Ethan; even the horses are loyal to him. But yes, I can and will help you with what I know about him."

A furry brow inclined and she tilted her head, first catching the confusion displayed by Cavan, and the clear sorrow from this large tiger-mix. Carefully pressing her own ears back a touch, Silver questioned her, "This seems to be a sensitive subject... but who is Katara, and what is the Makucha?" She gave Aiden a quick glance for confirmation, then looked back to Senka and Tersek.

Tersek & Others

Blackmist shot a concerned look to her packmates, having gone quiet after Momo's pups had retreated back to their mother. But when Cavan displayed confusion, she spoke up at length, "Senka is right, Katara, Nemu, and Menace sacrificed themselves for their children." By now, this was common knowledge among the Haunters, though fresh information for Silver Fyre. "Geinah... she's been missing for some time, Cavan. We don't have a Strategist or any Diplomats."

Tersek's face furrowed in contemplation. "Katara and the others will be rescued, but for now they have to wait until we've dealt with the human." Instead of answering Silver Fyre, he let Aizen take care of that. "Until they return though, we do need at least one new Diplomat, and a Strategist until we can find out where Geinah went.

Laying where he was, Cavan looked confused by the current conversation, his own face contorted in deep thought. The old Captain went quiet as he listened to his packmates, his good eye darting from one face to the next as they spoke.

"If I may." Velvet brought her voice back into the mix, "Sunburst was decent at Diplomacy. Why don't we pay our allies in the Parnassian Meadows a visit?"

Senka

Senka listens to them all calmly. She looks to Nemu and Menace as they finally join the group but she knows they were sleeping. I agree let us visit our allies and see what they can offer to help usShe said.

Aizen moved to Silver.Awhile back, Senka, Menace and Nemu were taken hostage by a group of large cats that were formerly part of us. They were forced to become pregnant and the only wya to get them back is to get or give them a big enough group of cats to join them. Katara agreed to be one of them. Katara is a daughter of Nemu'sHe said indicating one of the large cats who just joined them.

Tersek & Others

"I can stay and keep an eye on things around here." Tersek offered, now looking to Senka as they prepared to send a group to the Parnassian Meadows. "Nemu, Duality; I want you two to go with her, and take Dally along."

Like Nemu and Menace, Duality had been resting nearby, and was already on her way when she caught her father's words and that commanding look from his dual-toned eyes. The silver and gray wolfdog bowed her head in affirmation, and strode towards Senka. On the way she gave a curious look to Silver Fyre, and a flash of a smile to Aizen. If not for the business at hand, she'd have given her packmate a warmer welcome home, but by the sounds of it, there was important work to be done.

"When you return, I would strongly advise a meeting. We need to fill empty roles." Velvet suggested, careful not to overstep her bounds and order such an assembly without the approval of Senka or Tersek. "For as long as Geinah has been gone, we may have to face the possibility that she's not coming back. Or at the very least, scout our enemies to ensure she's not be taken captive."

Silver Fyre

A look of worry crossed Silver's expression, "A group of big cats?" The scent of big cats permeated this place, easily overpowering the scent of canine, but she hadn't seen many of the lounging felines. The idea that there was a whole other pride out there was a little concerning to her. "So the rumors of you guys being big into warring is true then, huh? I always thought the stories were embellished- oooh."

Silver's quizzical gaze had strayed from Aizen and grew wide as they chanced upon a large skull resting neatly near the main Temple. Bits of long, dark brown hair clung in a patch to the broad forehead, the sad remnants of a once proud mane. Though she couldn't possibly know this skull once belonged to Martimoor, brought back to the Ruins after Velvet's return to honor her fallen brother in the tradition that Risen had started, Silver recognized it as feline. And a large one at that. In fact, the more she looked, the more of these skulls she found; many feline, but others distinctly canine, equine, even reptilian. Silver quite wasn't sure whether she was horrified by this, or genuinely intrigued.

She turned back to her friend, "Whatever the future holds, I've vowed my loyalty to you and your pack, Aizen. If that means fighting big cats to get this Katara gal back, then I'll fight tooth and claw to do that."

Aizen

Aizen nodded.GoodHe said happy now and not too upset over his time with the human. He even killed the humans stag.

Senka nodded to both Terserk and Velvet.

Nemu moves to follow

Tersek & Others

Duality sent a short howl out for Dally, requesting the raptor's audience. Moments later, the blue and white falcon was coasting through the lower branches of the nearby trees and alighting on a pillar near the three. "Senka is leading us to the Parnassian Meadows for a short visit. Tersek wants to you to scout ahead for us and make sure neither the Makucha or the human are in our path."

The falcon bobbed his head, "I'll meet you there." Dally bounced back into the sky, climbing back up through the weave of branches and leaves until he was out of sight.

Duality looked to Nemu and Senka, ready to follow the pair out of the Ruins.

Silver Fyre as curious about all these things, but didn't pipe up to question the leaders. Instead, she smiled at her friend and his newfound freedom, "So, sounds like this isn't your typical pack. What's this I hear about 'Strategists and Diplomats'? Do I get a fancy rank too?"

Aizen

Aizen sat down.We each tend ot have assigned main duties. The Strategists work on battle and defense plans while the diplomats work on making allies and also potentially talking down others who might actively try to fight usHe said.there is also mothers who aren't necessarily mothers but they pup sit and what not. Then there are healers who have a nack for helping us heal from stuffHe said.

Silver Fyre

Silver Fyre followed suit and sat down beside her friend. Ears were perked attentively at his words, "That's rather ingenious, but also practical for a pack made up of so many different animals." Ruddy eyes broke away from Aizen for a moment in order to sweep the area again, but most of the Haunters seemed to be out of the immediate area. She looked back to him, head slightly tilted, "What are you ranked in all of this? And what do you think I am... I mean, do I pick it or... that lion said something about a meeting?"

Velvet & Others

Velvet turned a look at Silver Fyre, "That 'lion' is named Velvet." Her tail flicked once behind her and she turned her attention briskly to Aizen, "I'll let you to get her acquainted to the pack and its rules." Giving him a nod, and the faintest of smiles to suggest the lioness was actually glad he was back, Velvet picked herself up and sauntered deeper into the Ruins.

Aside from them, Tersek was conversing quietly with Cavan, while Blackmist loped back towards Mimi to give her any help she might need with the growing pups.

Momo

Momo was happy her brother was back and she nudged her pups>Its time for a nap lets goSHe said.

Aizen looks up as Velvet speaks and nodds .I am a scout, I usually go out to look for food or to scout out where an enemy may be or allyHe said. As for you it will slightly depend on what you think you might be good at but only time will tell. You will most likely learn a few of the rolls and eventually over time you'll fall under one catagory.He said.

Silver Fyre

"Velvet, right." Silver exclaims quietly, after a meek nod to the lioness for apparently offending her. After Velvet moves away, she diverts most of her attention fully upon Aizen. "In that case, I don't know that I'd be a great Diplomat, but who knows. Strategist... well, maybe when it comes to fighting Ethan and other humans? Wait- is that a thing you guys do, kill humans?" There were rumors abound of canine-related fatalities in the Valley, but Silver had no clue what canines or packs were to blame. "On the other paw, Ethan used me a lot for tracking and baying, so Scout could work too."

Aizen

Aizen listened and then shakes his head.No normally we try to avoid humans. We only attack when it means rescuing one of our own from his clutches. We are only planning on attacking him now because he is too much of a threat to let go uncheckedHe said calmly. Then you will probably learn that firstHe said calmly.

Silver Fyre

She nods in understanding, "I will say, when he has a certain prey in sight, he's pretty determined to keep it." She doubted Ethan would give up his pursuit of them anytime soon, and had to agree with Aizen on their reasoning for wanting to take the hunter down. When it came to her placement in the pack, the wolfdog nodded again, "Scouting? Sounds fine to me." Silver smiles and waves her banner, "So, what do you guys do for fun around here? And uh... other than canines, cats, and horses, what other animals live here?"

Aizen

Aizen yawns and lays down.Well he'll be sorryhe said calmly. Fun... watch the pups go on hunts practice fighting. There are crocodiles in the moat and many others that i can't really rememberhe said.
