Zanarah, Leomar, & Tersek

It was late in the evening, nearly dusk, by the time Zanarah returned to the Ruins and approached the moat that now had been completely filled with water. There she stopped, her long, tufted tail laying idly behind her as she looked back over her dusky shoulder to make sure all of Mufasa's pride had made it this far. "I'll let our leaders know of your arrival first." The ligeress turned her broad head back towards the Temple and gave a low, short roar to announce her presence, and call for Tersek and whoever else was present.

Tersek didn't take long to respond, stepping out from the Temple and squinting his eyes to see across the courtyard and the various pillars and crumbled walls that stood between him and the moat. His giant paws, splayed with age, nevertheless carried him swiftly across the moss and stone ground, and delivered him to the opposite edge of the moat where he could better see Zanarah and who the big cat had brought with her. "You found more cats?" His gravelly voice questioned with clear interest, while dual-toned eyes sized up Mufasa and the others.

Leomar was laying across a fallen pillar not too far from the moat, his tail flicking occasionally as he too eyed the newcomers. The sight of foreign males always made him edgy, as deep-seeded instinct bade him to fight. But he tempered these desires, knowing that he and the Haunters benefited far more from the inclusion of so many powerful males. Still... the big male couldn't help but release a casual, noisy yawn just to let Mufasa and the others know what kind of power he had.

Mufasa, Scar, Nala, Jasmine , Laya, Mwaya, Tyra, Tessa, Coko, Markisto

Mufasa followed her and paused at the moat as she spoke. He heard the yawn and he eyed the other but he was old enough to know a threat from a display and did not react to him. Scar however fur bristled a bit. The females eyes him but stayed with the cubs.

Tersek & Others

"I found them at the Canyon, yes. They've been in the Valley for a bit now, and agree to join the Haunters." Zanarah explained, whilst ignoring Leomar who was idly expression his strength and vigor in the backround. If not for the serious nature of the conversation, she would have rolled her eyes at the male's bravado. "I've already explained to them the leadership of the Haunters, and they've agreed to the terms."

Tersek nodded slowly, "Good, good. Hhmmm." He mentally counted the felines across the moat before continuing, "Welcome to the Shadow Haunters. I'm Tersek, one of your two leaders. What do you call yourselves?"

Mufasa was mindful of his brother who was showing off himself.i am Mufasa, He is scar, Nala, Jasmine, Laya, Mwaya, Tyra, Tessa, Coko, MarkistoHe said.

Scar stretched and yawned as he did so showing his teeth. not in a threatening manner.

Tersek & Others

Tersek listened attentively to each of their names, doing his best to put them into his memory. His mind was one place age had not begun to touch yet, remaining sharp and clear while his teeth dulled and his strength dwindled. "Feel free to cross the moat and meet the Haunters that are about the Temple. And don't mind our River Monsters, they are here for our protection." He nodded his graying muzzle to Bluescale, the large crocodile that floated a few yards from them, cold yellow eyes taking in the sight of these new members.

Zanarah stepped into the waters of the moat first and swam across to the other side, to show it as safe and ease any fears the mothers or cubs might have about treading through the dark waters. Once on the other side, the pale coated cat shook herself off and began to groom herself. Tersek addressed the newcomers again, "Should any of you find the Ruins too crowded for your liking, we are currently... working with another group to secure them more members."
