Velvet & Others

Lupanare and Zanarah had managed to take two mountain goats earlier in the evening, and brought these back to the Ruins for the rest of the Family to share. Lupa had pulled some scraps aside for Dima, feeding the scarred alligator that protected part of their home. She departed after that, offering to patrol the land along side Leomar to ensure that no one attacked them while they were targeting the Parnassian Meadows.

As the sunk began to sink towards the horizon, casting the sky in a brilliant display of pinks, fiery oranges, and deep blues, Zanarah woke from her post-dinner nap and sought out Akula and Katara.

The sisters had eaten their fill and slept till about five minutes ago. They woke and stretched waiting for their third companion before setting out for marshy land to disguise their scent. No one would know their looks in parnassian meadow so by site they were safe to pull it off as long as they were not followed. Perhaps they were camp out some where for a day or two before coming home who knew.

Zanarah

Zanarah greeted the two sisters with a gentle headbutt for Azula, and a shoulder bump for Katara, "Ready for tonight?" The liger queried, her voice calm and confident, concealing the excitement that was beginning to build within her. This was her first true mission for the Nuova Alba, and she was eager to do it well, and help expand their Family. "I think I know the way there, but I will follow either of you if you know a better route."

Azula head butted her right back and katara leaned into the shoulder rub.I think when we get near Katara should split off and head for the dens after we call to the pack to distract them with some nice peaceful conversation. I think thats our best chance. We talk to them so they'll be unsuspecting. It will probably leave just the mother and maybe one other with the pups, so actually I suppose one of us should call and lure as many away with the talking, one of us goes with Katara and chases off the ones guarding the pups?She said changing it a bit as she began moving toward parnassian meadow. Katara listened.

Zanarah

Zanarah listened attentively to Azula's strategy, all while playing the scenario out in her mind. She continued to quietly take in her pride-mate's words as the other began to move out of the Ruins and begin their trek towards the Parnassian Meadows. "That's a sound idea, Azula. And I think that amendment is a wise one too; I can travel with Katara to help head off any babysitters that might be with the mother, and keep them distracted long enough for her to get away. If need be, I can lead them on a goose chase in the opposite direction of the Ruins, just to further throw them off and keep them from following her back to the Ruins." Happy with this plan, but open for any changes to it, Zanarah continued to follow Azula out of the area.
