Cavan

Cavan's steps were not as smooth as they once had been, and a very slight limp spoke of the pain in his gut where Kaina had snapped at his belly. A few, minor puncture wounds dotted his face, adding another couple of scars to a visage that was already heavily covered in them. These things were nothing serious, and they were far from his mind by the time he finally slowed down at the edge of the moat and turned back to his leader. Now a ways from the rest of the pack, his words to Senka were meant as private ones, for her ears and her ears alone. "The sudden change was a shock to me, mostly... I'll adjust to it in time." It was partial truth at least, and before the tigress could take his words as a suggestion that he was unhappy with her being one of the new leaders, he clarified his position in that quickly, "I have faith in your abilities as a leader, and you have my support now as you did when you were second in command." A small silence lingered after that, wherein the old wolf seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. He finally shook his head and raised his head up again, "My heart is heavy is all; my sister..." Cavan's jaws clenched, grinding his worn, yellowed teeth together as rage and sorrow washed afresh over him. His eyes squeezed shut for a second before an anguished snarl played out, "Ever since we were pups, I've always looked after her. She was different, I know, but she was my sister and I have always been able to get her out of trouble and keep her safe. Senka, I want the Aspen Grove to suffer for what they've done. They've failed Nachi, they let her die."

Senka

Senka followed Cavan sure that Koray and Terserk wouldn't kill each other. If they did well, she'd worry about that later as she sat down and listened to him. She sighed.I had no doubt that you trust me Cavan. But that is just me. You need to have faith in both Koray and Terserk as well. She spoke watching him particularly as she spoke about her father and then terserk. She sighed as he began about his sister. I understand Cavan but we must not be hasty in anything we do. They will be dealt with but we must do it in an organized way where we both deal with them and keep everyone here protected. I want to figure out our allies first just in case we need to call on them. Then we will figure out aspen grove and also Nuova Alba. But first and foremost this pack needs to be united, both the predators and well the prey animals. You and the others who went with you must rest and recover first and foremost.She spoke as she looked around them. She saw the leopard Seal's returning to the mote and sighed.

I have a feeling you have something troubling you about Terserk and I must know what it is about him that has you agitated besides that he let his frustration and anger get the better of himShe said eyeing Cavan carefully. A meeting would soon be called to discuss everything but first she needed to sort this out.

Cavan

Cavan's vision was not so keen anymore, and from his good eye, Tersek and Koray appeared fuzzy and difficult to pick out amongst all the other Haunters in the backdrop. "I don't know Koray well, and I am very hesitant about the appearance of your son." The wolf blinked slowly and looked up to his leader, speaking to her in full confidence, and giving nothing short of how he truly felt. Cavan was never one to sugar coat his feelings, "Koray I am not worried about, and I fully trust your judgement on appointing him as your adviser. What I do think we need to be cautious about is Tyrant; he was taken as a cub, and spent an unknown amount of time with our enemies. I don't mean to upset you or go against your orders, but I strongly believe he needs to be questioned very thoroughly, and watched at all times until we know for certain what his intentions are."

That was one of his most immediate concerns, but the Aspen Grove and thoughts of his slain sister were right there in the forefront of his mind. His gaze dropped down, turning sharply away from Senka when she advised that they wait. Oh, he knew it was very sound advice, but his stomach twisted with pent up anger, and it was difficult to listen to rational thoughts when his emotions were boiling so powerfully within. "...I know." The old Captain finally sighed, and eventually looked back to the tiger, "Do you think a week will give us enough time?"

With Tersek brought up, Cavan blinked in the direction of the large wolfdog, and refrained from turning up his nose or giving the brute an otherwise unfavorable look, "All I will say now is that I will keep my eye on him. He is loyal to our family, that I can't deny him- but I'm unsure about his agendas."

Senka

Senka sat listening to Cavan and she glanced at her son. I understand your concern. However; I don't think questioning is necessary and if he was traumatized by them I don't want to bring anything up that might cause him pain in any form. We will keep an eye on him particuraly if he leaves but thats it. He was a stubborn cub I can remember that. Menace will most likely be glued to him and she is loyal to usShe spoke. She sighed.Koray is my father you have nothing to worry about with himShe said and she glanced at Terserk. You may but you must trust him. Your more the welcome if any of us do or say something that makes you nervous or anything else you may bring it up and we will discuss it.SHe said softly A week perhaps it may take longer you must have paitienceShe spoke calmly.

Cavan

"If I may, Senka-" Cavan began in a cautious tone that was not without respect, "Questioning him would benefit us, and at the very least give us an insight into what the Nuova Alba have been up to in the past two years. The decision is up to you ultimately, but I think this is an opportunity we shouldn't pass up." However wary the old Captain was of Tyrant, simply because he hadn't seen the tiger since he was a cub, and worried that Tyrant might sympathize with the Nuova, he did not press that concern with Senka. He'd keep quiet and watch Tyrant himself. Cavan addressed his feelings on Tersek next, "I'm more than willing to give him time, along with everyone else."

Senka

Senka started to growl a little.i will not have my son traumitized by anyones questioning Tyrant. You may ask him questions but you may not demand answers. If he wishs to speak of it then he may. If he says he knows nothing then you will leave it at that and not get madShe spoke. She knew he hadn't shown her disrespect but she wouldn't have her son traumitized just because of where he came from. As for Terserk that is what we will all do.She spoke calmly.
