Pepper

Whoever said time healed all anger lied. In fact it only grew into rage until that was all one felt. Demos felt that right now over the loss of his children. The large male was growing tired of waiting and his ability of keeping himself in check should be recommended, but even he knew he could only keep himself in control for so long. The Lurkers couldn’t believe they have won, not when it came to his offspring. A glance was given to Nighteyes, who was trying to calm him and tell him to wait on orders again.
Pepper was silent as she listened to Phobos low growls and Nava’s soft whines that she gave out to try and ease the tension. The two fragile females were complete opposites in nature. Anui was never far behind Nava and was nuzzling her sibling to comfort her.
From the way Demos stared off towards Lurker land that it wouldn’t be long before he made a move. There was no doubt that his siblings would follow suit as well, and none of them would be surprised if any of the Haunters followed. Hell, by now all of the members at the Ruins knew what had happened and what was going on. The small group of wolves were just waiting on Greyfell to give his orders but Demos was growing bored of waiting. His children were at stake and he wasn’t going to hold off for much longer, it was asking too much of the protective father.
Pepper glanced around to see if one of the higher ranking members were around; hoping that one of them could make a choice of leading a small group to diplomatically see the Lurkers in question. Surely they would hand the children over without any argument? Her fur bristled at the thought of the other group refusing them what was rightfully theirs, and her fangs came into view briefly. The grey and white females’ anger wasn’t being held in check any longer and hers’ rose to a pitch that matched her siblings.

Tersek & Others

While Cavan was rallying fighters to assault the Aspen Grove, Tersek he departed from the confrontation around White Live and Magadan, allowing Rampage to take his place as the pair were escorted to Dima's Temple. He had something else on his mind now, and heeded Pepper's howl with a gruff calling of his own.

It took but a matter of moments before the grizzle furred hybrid was jaunting towards the group. His tail was lifted rather high, even if Tersek technically didn't have the authority to do so. What he did have was his father's strength and massive build, along with a dominant personality that had kept him constantly looking for a way to raise his rank. "Pepper, what's this all about? Oh..." The big male could read the uneasy emotions on the females' faces, and saw that Demos was already stalking in the direction of Atroe City. The wolfdog quickly put two and two together. His eyes, one blue and the other a cold, chilling yellow, landed on Pepper again, and when Tersek spoke, his words were lifted in a quiet growl, "I understand your anger. And I share it - too long have we remained idle while other steal from us. The Nuova Alba stole our cubs, the Aspen Grove has killed my son and Cavan's sister, and the Lurkers have taken a great number of our family... we can't let this go on." Aggression rose in his tones, not at Pepper, but for the enemies that had attacked them, "Greyfell is busy with other matters, and Cavan has his own agenda... let me gather a few other warriors, and we can confront the Lurkers for their treachery." It was an incredibly bold and potentially costly move for Tersek, but he wasn't getting any younger, and now was as good a time as any to make his move.

Pepper

Pepper was turning to follow after Demos, knowing she wouldn’t leave her brother to confront the Lurkers by himself. The only reason she stopped and turned around was because someone called her name. Soul gates took in Tersek as the large and powerful built wolf came near her and her siblings. The hybrid started to ask her what was wrong but he soon realized what the ordeal was over. His bi-colored eyes landed back on her after he looked to Demos. His words made her smile, even though they were given in a growl, but she knew it was directed to their enemies and not her. Hurry, we won’t wait much longer. I’m tired of them taking advantage of us. Perhaps she shouldn’t of sounded like she was giving him an order, but Pepper wasn’t going to let her friends and family be pushed around.

Demos looked back once but kept on going till he reached the moat. There he waited for the others, his paws moving so that he was pacing now. It was obvious that he wasn’t going to wait for long, not long at all. Victoria, Phobos, and Nighteyes followed their brother and waited. Nighteyes would act as the strategist for this mission, but even he doubted that words would settle this. Anu and Nava waited beside Pepper, Nava was trembling from the fear that she felt. A fight was not where the fragile female should be, even if it was only a possibility, but the loyal wolfess wouldn’t abandon her family.

Tersek & Others

Pepper's smile was all that Tersek need to see. If he minded her rushed words, he kept it to himself and merely gave her a faint dip of his muzzle to show he understood, "Give me a minute to gather a few more Warriors, and we can make our move." Tersek wasted no time turning on his large paws and dashing back into the Temple, moving swiftly over the cold stone and moss covered ground.

A few minutes later, Tersek could be seen once again as he exited one of the many doors of the ancient structure. He glanced back a few times, looking over his shoulder not just to make sure his recruited Warriors were following, but to see if Greyfell and Cavan had been alerted to his movements. Seeing neither his leader nor the Captain, Tersek carried on until he reached Demos and his family at the moat's edge. Along with him came his offspring: Black Twilight, Drekh, Duality, Violet Fyre, and Huerosan. "We're ready to move out, Demos. Should words fail to bring your family back from the enemies, you will have the aid of our fangs." The large wolfdog was not being subtle about his views; he absolutely did not view the Shadow Lurkers as allies, and he had little faith that this would be a peaceful venture. In fact, judging by his tones and the large group he summoned, it would almost seem that Tersek was looking for a fight with the enemies.

Rampage

The Manahcob Downs packs prided themselves as allies of the Lurkers. Nightshade especially wanted to keep a connection to them, as her half-siblings were members of the Lurkers. She feared that if their alliance failed, Kobalt and Auri could be in big trouble.

Rampage, however, had trouble hiding the dislike he had for the Lurkers. It was he who butted in on the conversation between Tersek, Pepper and the others. "Going on a raid, I see." The big hybrid chuckled quietly. "Just don't tell Amari or Nightshade. They really like those alley mutts. Definitely don't tell Greyfell." He was ready for a fight. It even seemed that he wanted to engage in a battle. "Mind if I join you?"
