Deadra
Deadra hadn't deared stay long enough to find out who had murdered Nachi but just that fact made her know she needed to head home. Plus her hour had almost been up. She crossed the moat and chirped for Cavan. Her fur still bristled.
Cavan
Cavan had not gone far while Deadra was gone, and could have sworn several hours had passed, so great was his anxiety. When finally the cheetah returned, the wolf rose swift to his paws and sprinted forward to meet her halfway. "Well?" The bristling fur wasn't a good sign... and as Cavan sniffed at the cat's spotted fur, he was troubled by the blatant lack of his sister's scent. "Didn't you find her?"
Deadra
Deadra slid to a halt as Cavan met her half way. HEr ears went back. I was told that she was killed. I didn't stick around to find out who killed her, I feared if it was one of them that did it that they wouldn't of hestiated long before they tried to kill meSHe said. Her tail flicked back and forth.
Cavan
Cavan's sightless right eye stared vacantly at the cheetah, showing little more than a vague reflection of Deadra in its murky, milky-blue depths. The other orb was honed on Deadra with great intensity and emotion, as if to make up for the bad eye, and it widened in shock when the cheetah relayed the grim news. "Killed? ...How?!" Cavan's jaws went agape as his breath left him in a sudden rush, "Did you see her? Who did you speak to?!"
Deadra
Deadra long tail kept twitching.I don't know. I didn't ask.She spoke. No I did not her smell was faint on their borders tho. And I think his name was Keap or something along those linesShe said.
Cavan
For a terrifying moment or two, it seemed as though Cavan was going to snap at Deadra herself. His good eye gleamed with a bloodthirsty vengeance that was almost overshadowed by the pain of knowing his sister was gone from him. "Keap is my nephew." Cavan informed shortly, "And he isn't to be harmed, but the others..." The old wolf looked back towards the Temple, but from where he was, he could not see where Greyfell and the others were. "Round up what Haunters you can Deadra, and meet me at the northern edge of the moat." Cavan couldn't believe that his sister was dead, but he would find out one way or the other what was going on, and if she had truly been killed... then there would be hell to pay.
