Pepper & Others

Pepper and her siblings could be seen together as they conversed. It was obvious, even though the conversation was normal, that there was a problem. Demos angry form could be seen from the way his pelt was bristling and how he held himself. The grey and white son of Windsong and Kia had a large and powerful build. It would be easy noted when he was pissed off.

Nava stood beside her brother trying to calm him down, scared at how mad some of her siblings were getting. She was a small female and quite fragile, and her white form was lowered so as to not attract attention to herself. Anui stood beside her in a protective manner of her sister, even as she understood why Demos would be angry. Maybe we can get them back. Was all she said. His own children had been taken away from him by half siblings and cousins. They could have been Haunters and in all right should be. She was the white colored, some black, and a silver tipped tail daughter of Windsong and Kia.

Phobos was another small and fragile female in the litter, a gray wolfess with a black muzzle. She wasn’t being scared by her siblings, in fact she was one of the pissed off ones. Demos had kept his siblings away from his children, saying the pack could meet them when they joined, that he didn’t want to overwhelm them. Which is why only he got to know his offspring, before they were taken from him. She hadn’t even got to her nieces and nephews. They should be Haunters, not Lurkers.

Nighteyes, a strategist, was trying to be diplomatic about the whole thing. We should see Greyfell first, before we do anything. Even if it upsetted him too. He was a gray brute with white ears and a black tipped tail. Pepper was beside him trying to help out, her gray form sprinkled with black bristling as well, even as she held in her fiery temper. White ears were pricked upon her head.

Senka

Senka's cubs were now a year old and so they were left to the mothers to raise and handle. She was now prowling around when she heard the commotion. Her round ears flicked in the groups direction and she could see and tell that their was something wrong so she made a quick b line for the group. The second in command had to do her duty and help Greyfell with the haunters. Which is why she gladly accepted the role as second in command.

What seems to be the problem?

She had no clue what was going on and well from the scene of it she hated being out of the loop so she looked at each of the canines with a piercing look that said they better inform her.

Pepper & Others

Phobos was the first to notice the feline coming to them. Nava could be seen trying to lower herself more when the second in command showed up. Demos was the first to answer her. The Lurkers have my children. Apparently their half siblings came and got them to join the Lurkers.

It was obvious nobody was happy about, even while Nighteyes tried to keep them all under control until they could tell Greyfell. I told them we should wait for Greyfell before we did anything. A low growl came from Demos that they coudln't get his children now. Pepper simply gave him a look to calm down. It would do no good to fight among themselves.

Senka

Senka stood in front of the group and listened to demos. Willingly or forced? Not that it mattered. THey would at the very least have to consult Greyfell on the matter. Yes no one can do anything till we discuss this matter with him. She turned her gaze to Demos who she had sympathy for. She had lost Tyrant a while back to Nuova Alba when he was a cub. She had no clue he escaped now but that was beside the point. We will get them soon Demos don't worry about that but first they are right we must consult with GreyfellShe said and then released a few calls for the leader himself.

Monarda & Lion

Before Monarda had even got close enough to hear what the family was talking about, she could tell by Demon's body language and bristled fur that he was not happy. Alarmed by this, the brown wolfess approached the group, just after Senka showed up. Cinnamon auds swiveled and perked as what Demos had to say, and she felt her gut tighten at the new. How many Haunters had they just lost? And... as Senka questioned, did they leave voluntarily, or were they coerced? Monarda was among a few of the Haunters who was here when the pack first formed, and she had always saw the Lurkers in a negative light and had never truly approved of the sketchy alliance between them and their old enemies. To her, this was a prime example of why the Lurkers use to be their enemies, and why they should remain so today.

Another Haunter to approach the group was Lion, a keen minded canine who had an impressively large build but was far from the violent, aggressive type. Unlike his brother Tersek, he was hopeful about the tenuous alliance with the Lurkers, and as he heard what Demos said, feared that this could cause a serious rift within it and draw the two parties back into a bloody war. Keeping his ebony head low in respect to Senka's ranking, Lion posed a question to Demos and his siblings, "Have any of you had any contact with them since they left?"

Pepper & Others

Demos watched the big feline as she spoke to him. The second in command didn’t even miss a beat as she started to get down to business. I don’t know. I went to visit them and let them know they were coming with me soon, and they were gone. Their mothers said they went with the Lurkers. It was obvious he had no real relations with the females who helped create his offspring. Hell he didn’t even know if they just lied to him or not. Senkas’ words of getting them back had him looking to her sharply, his gaze attempting to meet with hers. You willing to promise me that? It wasn’t rude or anything, he was really asking her to keep her word.

Phobos wasn’t happy about doing nothing and the fragile female gave a soft huff. Twenty nine haunters would be lost to them if they didn’t retrieve the children. She noticed Monarda come over but the wolfess said nothing.

Pepper was the first to notice Lion when the male came over though. She also was the one to answer his question. No Demos was the only one allowed to see them, until they became Haunters. The mothers refused to have large parties of Shadow Haunters constantly going or coming, it could mark them as a target by their enemies they said. The others just stood there and waited.

Senka

Senka listened to them and thought things through. That was strange. So the mothers did not say whether they were forced or willing...She said with a frown. She glanced at him.IF they were taken by force I can promise you we will do our best to get them back. If they went willingly well that would definietly have to be left to greyfel to decide how much we try. She didn't like to think the young went willingly. Why would the young join another pack of their own free will? She wanted to think that they were forced one way or another. She glanced at the two that just showed up and huffed welcomingly to them. The more minds on this the better. She wonder where Greyfell was.
