Mystery
Mystery was a very pretty young mare, she took mainly after her mother's Appaloosa build and was mainly creamy white in color. To add a little pizzazz she had dapples of tan on her head and front legs with the same tan freckles on her haunches. Then to add a little bit of her father to the mix, she has tan stripes along her hind legs and shoulders. She was a very interesting creature indeed. Though, it all pulled together in something beautiful.
She had been born into the Haunters, being the daughter of the lead stallion, Greyfell, and a mare in the herd, Luna. So, she had remained in the herd even though she was plenty old enough to leave by now she just chose not to. Right now, she was standing out in the open, munching on some grass and listening to the sound the leaves made as they fell from the trees.
SLIPKNOT
Slipknot walked, his head held high. He was new to these lands, and so was leak. Oh ye I almost forgot. Leak is slipknots friend, the voice within his head. He hasnt been the same since the accident that had killed four colts and left him with a broken leg. Now he was fully healed, and only harbored the one mark on his left front leg from were the bone had punctured the skin. His auds perked forward as he listened. "Slipknot, what have you done! look at the mess you havent made! damn, so many living, yet so many well not dead! Get yar head out of your ass and start being more stallion like! ohh why do I even bother, fudge it just continue on." Slipknot listened to leak mumble angrily to himself.Slipknot couldnt resist giving a small chuckle. It was funny how leak was so cruel yet didnt say th real curse words. Well it didnt matter.
Slipknot walked on, his classic champagne coat draped by the shadows of the ruins. He lowered his head to the ground, his chocolate eyes drifting from place to place. No mare had ever spoken to him since he was a colt. He was shunned as a child so wasnt a very social creature. He began to graze on the grasses, not even knowing he was close to a mare. He had never payed any intention on scent when he was hungry.
His teeth grabbed the grass and pulled. He ate, happy to not being dog food. He absolutly hated dogs, wolves were different. He absolutly hated the wolves with the hot intesity of a thousand suns! He finnaly stoped, worried tht a dog was near. He lifted his head and smelled the air. Oh,what was this? The scent was of a mare. He had never even approached a mare to talk in his life. He looked at her, his choclate pools shwoing some type of social fear. Oh god! he was afraid of talking to her! He shook his head a little and shyly looked the other way.
Mystery
Mystery was just outside the lands that were known to belong to her herd, the Shadow Haunters, so she was not sure what to expect here. Her perked auds remained perked and swiveled around to see if she could catch any new sounds. She heard the sounds of another's hooves moving with near silence along the shadows and her head was lifted from the grass that she had been eating.
Her dark chocolate orbs looked to see the source of this sound of approaching hooves and her ebony nostrils flared as she took in a deep breath to determine who was approaching. The scent was one that was not known to her, it was some strange stallion.
Then he came out in to the open, no longer hiding in the shadows. She saw that he was a much larger horse than she herself was. Though, she was not intimidated. No, not much scared this girl, which was one of the few personality quirks that she had inherited from her mother. She did not approach yet, though. She was not sure if he would want to chat with her, so she waited until she was noticed. Soon, she saw him look up to her and she decided she might as well go and say hello.
Her striped legs carried her closer to the stallion as he looked away. This young mare was a very friendly girl and she was always out to make friends if there were possible ones around. As she reached this stallion, she stopped a little short so as to still give him his space and not crowd him.
Hello, I am Mystery, who are you? She spoke boldly and in a friendly manner. She was definitely not a threat to him. Whether it was because she chose not to be or because she would not be much of a threat even if she had wanted to be. After all, he stood a good bit taller than she did and was over all
