Ynear .+. Others

In the stillness of the early summer morning, five creatures slowly ventured into the territory they all once called home. They had been on these lands since they were young, some for many years. In the lead was one that every born Haunter HAD to know: The small black female, whose muzzle was now flecked with aging white fur, howled to the temple. It was Ynear, lead of the mothers before her absence. She was once one of the highest in respect, but now, with a new rule, she could only wonder what her fate had for her.

Among her, a male healer, brown as dirt with smudges of white along his belly and face. It was Owl, one of the shiest of Vicious' grand children. He hung his head low, scared of the once comforting sight of home. Beside him, dressed in the purest of black, her chilling yellow eyes aflame in fear of rejection. Knowing her mother was one of the most hated wolves in the valley, she couldn't help but feel she would take on some of Risen's resentment.

Flanking the wolves stood two male cheetahs. Unlike the wolves, they stood in full confidence. Although related, they were not brothers. Toki was the oldest next to Ynear, and Ichigo one of the youngest but still full grown.

"Greyfell, It is I, Ynear! I wish to speak with you in hopes of rejoining the Haunters. The one and only family I have every had and known, and wish to have a final resting place among you." The others were quiet. All wanting to join, but it was ultimately out of their paws whether they were accepted or not.

Senka

Senka the second in command had caught scent and even heard the call and she proceeded forth. The tigress mix stared ahead ofh er and she dipped her head.hello Ynear, Toki, Ichigo, and OwlShe spoke. Her tail flicked to the side.Greyfell is currently busy but will be here as soon as he canShe spoke calmly no fear showing.

Ynear

Ynear bowed her head to Senka, showing respect where respect was needed. Fragile Moment, Owl, Toki, and Ichigo followed Ynear's lead. The five of them sat, some patient, some nervous.

"Can you tell me what has happened since our departure?" Spoke Ynear calmly. Her eyes staring at Senka's muzzle, wondering if much had happened. The news that the Haunters had joined up with their arch enemies surprised the Mother to no end, but she had no place to question Greyfell's intentions.

Senka

Senka took a seat when the others did as well. SHe watched them and then stared at Ynear.I can't tell you much till greyfell accepts your or denies you. But we have gain some more allies. Rayne has defected thats probably about it that i can tell youShe spoke calmly. Her tail flicke.d

Ynear

The female nodded, "Rayne was always a trouble maker. As was Cynical, I don't doubt if they teamed up." She whispered to herself, for that is exactly what happened. She remembered the two being close when they were born. Although half siblings, they almost seemed to have the same spirit in them and understood each other in every way.

Greyfell

The zebra had sensed a familiar presence. It was Ynear. The old mother. She was still loyal to the Haunters. Those who stayed now instead of begging for mercy when Greyfell killed their cowardly leaders would be greatly rewarded.

"Ynear. Toki, Ichigo, Owl. Fragile Moment." He rattled off their names in greeting, bowing to the group. "Of course. I could not deny some of my most loyal friends. You are always welcome in the Shadow Haunters. You are always a part of this family." He nodded to Senka. "As you know, the Haunter family is smaller now, but stronger than ever. We will not be phased by Rayne and Crucifix. They will see who truly leads the Valley."

Senka

Senka looked to grey and dipped her head to him and let him speak.Indeed the two will fall or learn who is right. The Shadow haunters will be stronger with Greyfell as our new leader and of course me by his side. We are still family and thats what ties us all togetherShe spoke calmly.

Ynear .+. Others

The five of them bowed as Greyfell approached, and as he conversed with Ynear the rest stayed quite and listened. Ynear's ears perked as he spoke of the Shadow Haunters being smaller and stronger. When he mentioned that they were always family, she smiled, but when he mentioned Rayne's name, she cast her gaze downward. She felt a special bond with all that had been born on the land, the defectives had no exception. But if it was the way things would be, she wouldn't question it.

Shaking her head subtly, she whispered more to herself. "I don't know how much of help I would be to this pack strength wise." She looked up, "Are the mothers still organized?" She questioned, for if she had to fight in battle, she would not be able to against the ones she loved so dear, the ones she raised for the Haunters. To her, although not by blood, they were still her children.

Fragile Moment, unlike Ynear, pulled up a lip as Rayne was mentioned. Any defectives in her book were enemies and traitors. The others reacted in the same manner as Fragile Moment, each shifting with anxiousness about fighting the ones they had grown up with. "It looks like the overall mood has already improved in the land, everyone seems more confident than when Risen lead." As she was trained, Fragile moment called her mother by name. For Risen wasn't a mother to her, not like the mothers that had raised her.
