Druid & Bergamot

"Greyfell!" Bergamot's rocky voice bellowed out, calling for his leader. Behind the stocky, 160-pound canine, his smaller half-brother padded behind him so smooth and quiet he could have been Berg's shadow. Even the shimmering rays of the sun hardly caught on Druid's rugged brown coat, so lacking was it in sheen.

Greyfell

The zebra's hooves clacked on the ground nearby. He had been patrolling when he heard the canine's call. Greyfell came around the temple and stopped in front of the two. "Yes, Bergamot? May I help you?" He said politely, though kept that slight air of dominance.

Bergamot & Druid

Both brothers lowered their heads, while the elder spoke first, "Leader Greyfell, my brother has had an interesting chat with your Captain earlier today, and has come across something I think you might be interested in." He began, speaking of the newly appointed, third-ranking Cavan.

At this point, Druid stepped forward to engage his leader, keeping his slender head down and his mustard eyes slightly averted from the leader's, "I'm not sure if he's told you yet, but apparently he's secured the land just south of us." Druid paused, his eyes flicking towards the stony ground, as if he were contemplating whether or not to divulge the next bit of information. At length, he decided to go on, "Apparently, his sister has left us and joined a nuetral wolf by the name of Starscream." This was the part he was hesitant to speak on, because he didn't want to sound like a nark, nor did he want to get Cavan in trouble, even if it wasn't the scar-faced wolf who'd left, but his slightly demented sister, "You might speak with him to get the details, but to make it short, he's taken over their land and somehow secured them a territory of their own, in the southwestern portion of the Valley."

Greyfell

Greyfell nodded to Bergamot, already interested in what the two brothers had to say. Cavan was a good wolf, and he had earned his spot as Captain.

"Yes? He has?" The zebra replied, adjusting his weight to be more comfortable. "Kalina has told me of Starscream, I believe. I do not know much about this canine in particular, but I'm sure Cavan has much to tell me." He dipped his head to the two canines in respect. "Thank you, Druid and Bergamot. Is there anything else I need to know before I speak with Cavan?"

Bergamot & Druid

Bergamot dipped his head as well, leaving his younger half-brother to finish the conversation, "There is one more thing... apparently, Starscream is one of Vestige's sons." Druid now shifted his weight, finding himself particularly uncomfortable saying what he was saying, though he did it in the interest of averting any potential fights with the others, "I understand it was Cavan who killed Vestige? In any case, I know that Cavan is loyal to you and the Haunters, but I fear he may also be blinded by his devotion to Nachi. I guess, what I'm saying is... I think it would be wisest to at least keep an eye on Starscream and Nachi. At least until we can understand Scream's opinion of us."
