Pepper & others

Pepper came here after she left Dima's Temple. Dam it, she thought, they got away. No doubt they would soon be causeing trouble for all of the Shadow Haunters. A growl came through her throat as she layed down on the ground. Her cousin and half sibling, Victoria came to sit by her. Angel sat on the other side absently petting Pepper to calm her down. Victoria was white and black evenly. Her front was white, and back was black. She had golden eyes, and they were staring around her. She was angry that their enemies got away, but not as angry as Pepper was really. It was best they got away, maybe they'd know better to leave them alone. Although, Victoria had serious doubts about that.

Angel the human duaghter of Mahala and Jasper was silent. Both of her parents deserted her to go join that wolf, the one that was son of Risen. She missed her parents, but she wasn't going to join them. No she felt loyal to Greyfell and his group. Just as her 'siblings' did. Angel wasn't the only one missing someone. Pepper and Victoria missed their sibling Gold who left due to his brother raped his mate. It hadn't been pretty when Gold found out either, Silver almost died twice that day.

"Dam it. Velvet and them should of been murdered! They were going to be murder one of their own for crying out loud." Pepper spoke. She was in season.

"Maybe they'll leave us alone." Victoria said.

"Sure, and maybe Gold will com ba.." She stopped dead on the word. A sigh came forth before she looked away from her sister. She didn't want to argue about Gold comming back or not.

Ressurrection

She looked much like the late Vicious, just a much smaller version. She was built like Risen, quite small and petite. Dark grey with a white speckled underbelly, she moved silently atop one of the ruins. And what have we hear? She said softly as she stood atop of the two females and the human. She lay down, this sister of Risen, one of the last left, in fact... And she watched them through eyes like sin. It seems I have missed much in my abscence. I no longer know the players of the game. Ressurrection had never really been a part of the Shadow Haunters, merely a wolf that came and went. But seeing the Shadow Haunters struggling... That made her want to bark with laughter. Her sister was a failure in both life and death. Risen couldn't even keep this place going, could she? She asked the wolves below. Ressurrection was a creature not to be toyed with, more solitary then pack bound. But there was something about her, a quiet darkness, that was enough to stop one in there tracks. Risen could be seen in her, the way she moved, the way she spoke. And the similarities between her and the late queen was quite evident.

Senka

The tiger had been talking with Luna Mother when she heard others talking and so decided to see what was going on and then heard ressurections words. Her fur bristled a bit.This place is going just fine mind you, we have a new leader and a good one at thatShe spoke. Her tail flicked out as her fur bristled.

Icestar & Others

His neck still stung, but it was the feeling deep in his gut that really roiled within him. Assassination?! Icestar could scarcely believe it, and as calm as he tried to project himself on the outside, the fear that welled within him could be seen shining through his eyes. Had not Gavina overheard the others, he very well could have been killed.

Trying to calm his racing heart, Icestar followed close after the others as they left Dima's Temple, pausing once to look upon the small-framed Resurrection. He was too young to know much of anything about her, aside from what his family had spoken of, but just by looking at her, a chill ran down his back. Dropping his gaze, Ice shuffled towards Pepper and dropped down on his haunches to rest.

"Greyfell leads us now. We're aiming for an alliance with the Lurkers, and an end to all the fighting." This came from Chahaya, the white tigress who'd stayed behind while Callholm and the others departed. "And Senka is right- the pack is still strong, and always has been."

Pepper

Pepper looked up when she heard Ressurrection soft voice speaking badly about Pepper's old leader. She glared at the feline when she was done talking. Anger flared immedietly as she stood to her feet pelt bristling, Victoria scotted over from Pepper. She spoke ignoring Senka who came forward, for the moment. Her voice was cold with fury when she insulted Risen's sister. Nobody was going to insult Risen or Greyfell infront of Pepper. Both were great leaders, and both gave Pepper and her family a home. So screw Ressurrection, the worthless and whining wolf.

"Aww, your just mad because your sister, Risen, was a better leader than you. Greyfell's a better leader than you, as well. They are smarter, stronger, and wiser than you. At least they stayed and protected their friends and family. Unlike you."

She turned her head to look at Senka for a moment. The other feline was bristling her fur as she spoke to Risen's sister. At least we know that Senka's loyal Pepper thought still glaring at Ressurrection. Hearing a voice behind her she looked to see Chahaya. She spoke of how strong the group was, and of making the Valley a better place. Golden orbs turned to Icestar who laid near her where Victoria had been. A smile was given to him in his direction. Pepper wondered how the brute was doing, after all he found out that they were planning on murdering him. Had it been Pepper, she probably would of attacked Velvet and Bandit then and there. She spoke to Icestar, her voice low for his ears only. She was asking about him finding out that Velvet and them planned to murder him.

"You alright?"

Angel didn't speak during this, but simply watched. Victoria growled at Ressurrection after she had moved from Pepper, but other than that didn't speak. Their was no need to speak, for her actions had spoken cleanly. She didn't agree with what the feline had spoken of Risen. She was simply jealous, like her half sister Pepper had said. She figured the feline was just trying to make herself feel better by insulting her sister. It was pathetic in Victoria's point of veiw, but hey whatever helps you sleep at night.

Ressurrection

Ressurrections eyes narrowed and she growled low and quiet. Risen? You think Risen did well? She allied herself with all the wrong packs. Yeah, sure, she overtook a bunch but then what? She didn't get them all like she was supposed to. Risen had big plans, big dreams, but she failed in the end, now didn't she? Where is the great Risen now, is she dead or merely in hiding like the worthless bitch that she is? Ressurrection gave a dark laugh. And as for Greyfell? I know nothing of him, but a horse has no place leading my sisters legacy Her eyes flashed over to Icestar and she gave a mocking grin, and for that one moment she looked just like both Vicious and Risen. A scary combo right there.

Hostage soon arrived, the son of Camarin and... Well, he couldn't remember his mothers name. But thats okay. He stopped cold when he saw Ressurrection. Res... So nice to see you again... He knew all about the low lying female. She came out and let herself be known when it struck her fancy, but mostly she controlled thigns from the shadows. He glanced towards the others then back to her. Back from Hell I see. The younger wolf said mildly.

Senka

Senka fur bristled so much that it looked like her fur was spiked. She bared her fangs and gave a hiss.You know nothing! Just cause she vanished doesn't mean she failed! She got us or whats left of us to be like family and thats all that matters. We fight for each other! and greyfell deserves his position. Anyone that talks trash or messes with him messes with me! So i dare you push me enough and your little hide with carpet the ruinsShe growled her tail flicking and she moved closer to the wolf.

Icestar & Others

It hadn't taken long at all for news of the Coalition's defection to spread like a wave through the Temple. Druid, the brown-coated, mustard-eyed litter mate to Icestar, was soon on his way to check on his brother. Behind his near silent gait was their older half-sister Dawning Eclipse. Neither of them looked particularly happy as the descended a flight of stone steps and padded out of the Temple to congregate with those mingling outside.

Not at all feeling like putting up with Resurrection right now, Icestar lifted his muzzle to greet his approaching siblings with a nuzzle, right before he turned his golden eyes to Pepper and returned in a quiet sigh, "I'm okay. I just... I can't believe they were-" Icestar stopped himself, frowning deeply, "-planning to kill one of their own members. At least they're gone now, and good riddens!" He shifted his front paws in front of him, placing one over the other.

"You'd be wise to mind your tongue around here, Resurrection." Always one of the quieter felines, and far more docile, the tiger's words were given stern but lightly. "If your feelings of her and Greyfell are as such, perhaps you belong with the defectors."

Pepper

Pepper didn't get to her feet again this time. No she simply spoke from where she lay down. Her voice a cold tone, that was not to unwisely taken. She was sick and tired of this wolfess, and truly wished her to go away. What good was she, if you couldn't even trust her in battle? Pepper sure didn't, and the ones that did might find themselves dead.

"You say one more filthy word about Lady Risen or Lord Greyfell, I'll feed your guts to crows."

Than she turned to look at Icestar who was nuzzling his siblings. She smiled at them before dipping her head slightly in greeting. Her ears pricked as she turned to look to Icestar who was replying to her. Golden orbs met golden orbs. So he was glad they got away, huh? I'd prefer them dead so they couldn't harm anyone she thought.

"Yes, I suppose. How's your neck?"

Angel having enough of Resurrections attitude decided to give her own warning. Within heartbeats a arrow sizzled through the air, and struck right above the wolf's head in the wall, unless she moved away from it thinking Angel was attacking. The human's icy glare should of been understanding enough. The arrow wouldn't of killed the female, but the next one might.

Victoria looked behind her to see two more wolves join their small group a male and female. She recognized them as Druid and Dawning Eclipse. She attepted to get their attention before offering them both, with a flick of her tail, a invitation to come sit with her. She wouldn't mind to hear the whole story for others besides her sister. She wanted to know excatly what was going on. So she waited for them to accept or decline.

Purgatory * Ressurrection

The wolfess growled as the arrow went flying over her head, but her entire body remained erect. I will speak of Risen however I feel like. We are family after all. She gave a dark laugh, and her cold eyes took in every one of them here. And thats when she found her. Her heart melted a bit, and she gave a soft sigh. Come out, Purgatory. She'd always felt responsible for her much meeker sister, and her heart ached a bit at seeing the shy female. The wolfess came slinking out from the brush and she leapt upon the rock where Ressurrection stood and gave her an affectionate nuzzle. Ressy... Stop trying to start things... Please. For me. Her sister whispered softly. They key to Ressurrection lie here. Purgatory was her number one priortiy. Always was, and always would be. If not for her, Res would have been long gone by now, not giving a damn about her family. But Risen had gotten to her shy little sister, and 'corupted' her. Now, Ressurrection felt responsible. If only she'd taken better care of her....

Icestar & Others

Reminded of his neck, Icestar frowned mildly and mentally cursed the heavy handed brute who'd given him the wound, "It's not bad." Okay, maybe it did hurt a good deal still, but the male's pride wouldn't let him admit this to Pepper, so he played it down. His gaze went momentarily for Resurrection, then abruptly to Angel when she fired off the arrow. Icestar had to quell a small rumble that threatened to rise from his chest in disfavor of the wolfess that was down talking their leaders, past and present, but instead he chose to focus on Pepper. "All will be well once our pack gets back up on its feet. With growing members and new allies, the others will be sorry they ever left us; we're still the strongest in the Valley." Ice tried to force a little smile to his muzzle, attempting to encourage Pepper with his declaration of the Haunter's strength. And maybe it was to assure himself that Resurrection, Bandit, and Velvet were all wrong.

Gladly accepting Victoria's invitation, Druid and Eclipse settled down next to Victoria. The tawny brown brother fell silent, leaving his older half sister to do the speaking, "If we ever run into those traitor scum again, I hope Angel makes use of the arrows against them."

"Well, well, well." Joining the commotion, Tersek strode past Chahaya, interrupting the tiger before she could reply to Resurrection. His duel-colored eyes, one icy yellow and the other blue, sized up his two half-sisters with an indignant air, "Look who decided to show up." Tersek had always been itching for the leader spot, and though he'd certainly enjoyed a high rank in the Haunters since he was young, it was never good enough for him, and he didn't hesitate to bully the others and push his weight around where he could. And at 180 pounds and a bad temper to go with it, Tersek had the strength to do it. It wasn't that he was gunning to overthrow Risen or Greyfell - but he'd worm his way as close to the top as he could.

Senka

Senka stood there listening to everything and everyone. Her tail flicking too and fro. Her fangs were bared to let the wolfess know she wasn't afraid to attack her if she tried anything.Since your family you shouldn't be talking down about her! Family should stick together!She growled. Her tail flicked.

Pepper

Pepper kept her eyes on Resurrection the moment the arrow had struck. A low growl came through her chest at what the wolf said about Risen. She was starting to really tick Pepper off. Voice cold she spoke to the wolf her voice holding nothing but a promise.

"You say one more filthy thing about Risen or Greyfell I'm going to attack you, with no hesitation."

Her head turned back to Icestar when he spoke. She listened quitely before speaking. "We're strong because we have others here like you. Those that our courageous enough to stand against others, no matter how many or difficult they are." She moved her head to clean his wound, so infection didn't seep in. Her ears were pricked listening for Ice's response or for Res to do something very foolish.

Victoria smiled a devilious smile at what they said. She spoke softly back to them, for their ears only. "Everyday no matter the weather, Angel goes out in early morning to pratice, ever since she got her bow. It was Gold's idea, to help her get better, and she's done it even after he left."

Angel a smirk on her face drew another arrow out. She didn't put notch it though, not yet at least. She wasn't worried if the feline saw it, for it was her last warning. Angel gave second chances, but never anymore than that. When she shot, she shot to kill. Her eyes were cold and icey looking as she kept her eyes on Res.

Hostage

Hostage spoke softly, but his voice traveled over the group. Enough. His voice was dark, demonic, and carried a trace of evil. His eyes lifted to Ressurrection, and then to her little sister. Purgatory. Ressurrection. So... Wonderful, to see you two again. Purgatory beamed, and the pretty little female hopped off the ledge and nuzzled Hostage. You need to eat more, Hostage. Your getting thin The male was lean, but he was built muscular. She gave another pretty smile, which she turned to Pepper. What happened? I'm afraid I've been... Away for so long... Her eyes drifted to Ressurrection, who gave her a glare. Don't. Don't you dare look at me that way. The sister snapped. Was this the only full blooded relatives of Risen left? An angry, out to kill loner wolfess, and her overly caring motherly sister?

Senka

Senka watched Ressuraction with both eyes. Her fur was still raised as she stood there ready to pounce on the little wolfess if needed.
