Shadowed pupils took in the elegance of the ruins as the xanthrippe's tiny daggers pierced the soil path that led to it. Small fox like listeners pricked for an instant, letting the sounds of this place envelope her. As there was nothing but dead silence, the disappointed harks pinned back down to their master. What a place for company. Not too shabby. It will do. For now. Long slender pillars maneuvered the demoness through the wreckage, her stained death voids scanning the area for others. Of any species. Though she wasn't sure if any of them were welcome in her prescence.

Jeta • 5 dreadful summers • burned scarlet • 14.3 hands of hell • white star, name it my target • arabian/mustang • born of the fairer sex

Those deep glass-eyes caught her as she moved, her flame-kissed body wriggled under the sun — the sun rays bouncing off of her curves in a brilliant display of light-play. The pale stallion moved forward, ears leaned forward as he gained a quick paced jog towards her. His onyx gaze pasted over her chestnut body, the nerves in him began to tingle — hormones grasped his mind, loins tingling with the impulse to ravage the young mare…but the Spanish stallion did not, simply sliding coyly at her side.

His lips, leather and dark against her silk red flesh. Lips toying with her long auburn locks, pulling aware to let his deep eerie voice slip from his hollow chest. “Well hello…” He paid no attention to the fact that she was probably here to join the Haunters, he ignored that part of the deal. His body dangerously close to hers, his deep loud breaths pounding off the soft mid-afternoon air. The two stood in solitude amongst the broken stones and carved ruins.

Jeta

Ashen voids narrowed in distaste instantly as a new scent hit delicate flared proboscis. Ugh, a stud. Turning slender profile in the direction of the source, thorns instantly pin down upon their pretty master as the figure of the hunter heads my way. Oh boy, this should be fun. Not. Spheres of shadow roll in agitation as pillars of fire turn the flame kissed corpse away from the dreadful sight. Moving motion into a ground eating trot, velvets tighten as hoof beats behind quicken and soon prescence of the stag is felt quite close. Too close. Harks still flattened upon their base, serpentine arches out as dentals reveal themselves from beneath scarlet labias, jaw snapping at the virile's own arch as he moves his dirty paper thins over my silky locks. I do not think so, bub. I don't play that whole lovey dovey thing. Not without a worthy cause anyway. And you? I don't know you to be worthy. So keep your junk to yourself. I want no part in it. Unless you prove yourself. If I see some potential. So far, manners? That's a missed check to be sure. Hiss escapes tight maw as hindquarters halt their forward motion, slender frame dancing away from the titan, giving myself some space before facing him. Ooids glared icily as seductive voice emits from my tiny mug.

Well, hello, yourself. I don't believe I know you.

He watched as she squirmed beneath his wretched touch. He threw his pearl back in maniacal laughter. She was divine in sight, that is all she was. She could dim the flickering flame, a lust that would only dwindle — but never go out, feeding off the caress of another…the sensation of their bodies being savaged beneath him. He could not help it, it was a demon he’d never conquer. He craved the opposite sex, and what they had to give up to him.

Well aren’t you quick…” His eyes mocked her as they pasted over her red body. “Pan is my name — and who might you be?” His tone deep and harsh, eerily settling against the muggy atmosphere. The stallion’s black eyes slid over her bright curves, his lips twitched with the impulse to slather all over her velvet shoulder once again, but he refrained.

Jeta

Flames danced in the otherwise midnight twins as flesh was felt beneath fangs, biting deep into the hunter's serpent. Feeling his bitter sweet blood hit the back of the throat, god, it tasted good. It must be so long since I took a good chunk out of another equid. This gladiator was dumber than he looked. If that be possible. Spitting a small tuft of snowy white pelt out of the perfect maw, pools narrowed upon the demon, assessing what other bull could come out his nasty mug. The scent of his raging hormones was sickening, so strong. Start on me, and find yourself castrated. That's the way this is going to work, buddy boy. Muscles in the athletic figurine tense, ready for anything. Another warning hiss escapes blood stained velveteens, feeling the devil's globes raking perfectly chiseled framework like a car salesman sizing up his next sell. Sorry, bud, this one's not for sale. For any price, save your own blood. Which, sweet sweet day, I could still taste fresh on my tongue. Want more scars for your manners? Keep pushing. This harlot ain't budging. Icey glare continued as silky tone escapes.

Call me Jeta.

The twinge spiraled up his neck, but his face remained unmoving and machine like. Those ghoul eyes narrowed on the red mare, her attitude began to scratch at his nerves; the arrogance pressing on his mind like a nail. A grunt pushed through his tight nostrils, dispersing loudly into the calm streams of wind. His cool demeanor faded into an agitated sort of mood, pale bangs draped over his hollow expression, she was not impressing him much at all now.

But her body was the devil.

It beckoned him. The very warmth of her carcass next to him, shivers traveled up his ghostly spine. He drew in a deep breath, but again spoke nothing, silence is virtue. His eyes still exploring her serpentine frame, veiled behind his thick forelock. “You here for them?” He flicked a blank stare towards the group of wolves along the horizon, then back to her. Blunt inquiry.

Jeta

Blood painted velvets pulled up into a small smirk, catching a new tone in the caliph's posture and voice. Annoyance. Agitation. God, this is going to be good. Guess now you know what it feels like to be pestered by an empty ego. Though the add on of an empty mind to match in your case boosts my own frustration. Tossing chiseled tiara gracefully, letting tassels of fire dance through the self made breeze. This was done on purpose of course. I silently snickered, wondering at the torture this sex deprived beast must be feeling as my scent wafted right to him from the mane toss trick. God, I'm good. Controlled by your need for a temporary sheath cover and a few minutes of infinite pleasure? Please. It's pathetic. A weakness if I ever saw one. To be controlled by anything other than your own mind was weak in my opinion. I could hold myself together from a hook up. From an easy kill even, though that proved far harder to do. My first impression of this pearly captain? Not worthy. Better hurry. Make your finale good at least. Entertain me. As his question wafted out of that huge proboscis, ooids did not lose their steely gaze, not even glancing in the direction of his dead glance. Soft yet dominant seductive tone escaped once more toward the mascu.

The mutts? No, I'm not here for them.

Her gears ground behind those vicious little eyes of hers. Pan was not oblivious to the female sex — although they baffled him none the less. If only she knew of him; she would not think like that, but Pan was in no mood to play the ‘prove myself’ game. Quite blatantly, he’s too old for such petty behavior. He listened as she mocked the wolf dogs, his expression unmoved, but his mind took that in. So she was asking for it, uh? Ultimately she would find it, but he was not here to give it to her.

This craving, this sickness, it does not run him involuntarily — he lets it run him. He loves it, every second of it. Much like a drug addict; but better composed. The euphoria is worth it, the results are damn worth it. It seems he is a breed of his own, no one like him. Once he realized she was not going to explain herself any, he thought he would casually pry. “So what are you here for then, Jeta?” His voice rough and sultry, dry of warmth or compassion.

Jeta

Shadowed chasms stifled another roll. So predictable. This "uniqueness" you think you carry. It's not just you. You're definitely not the only male following the scent of a good humping session daily. I myself have known many nympho viriles. They too thought themselves strong, different from everyone else. So damn predictable. Couldn't I have a little surprise? A little spice? This was quickly leading to boredom. In fact, I feel a yawn coming up. Feeling the brute's mood change, I'm guessing at my word choice for the nasty mongrols a few yards away, the smirk upon finely tuned features deepened. Mutts are in fact a better choice of words than I could give the little dust bags. I'd experienced a lot of fighting in my five winters, thank you very much. From all species, everything from grizzley bears to those filthy bi peds who call themselves "human." Fangs of canines have raked my scarlet coat before, leaving my sweet life liquid in their throats and in their minds. So calling a pack of mangy dogs mutts? That's just plain graceful on my part. Seems you've had a bit of an easy time of it, ol buddy boy. If the results of your sex crave were worth it, you must have had some pretty soft carcusses to mount. The weak harlots who would rather let you jump their bones than get a few scratches on their measley hide to get away. Makes me sick. The results of trying me would be quite painful on your part. I might get as much pleasure out of it than you have in any of your little masquerades. Flames danced across death kissed twins at the thought. Volunteering information just isn't my thing, stag. Like I said, make it worth it. Every breath I draw to speak to the likes of you is wasting away in the atmosphere. Oh, and just to let you know. For being so uncomfortable with my little "prove it" game, you seem to be learning the moves of a pawn quite nicely. Keep it up. My day's just getting better and better. Still watching the demon, lyrics came out in a slight hiss.

If I knew I wouldn't be standing here talking. I would be about my purpose, not letting myself get distracted. What's your excuse?

Mikia and Darkia

Mikia was watching and listening..She snorted and came up.Who you calling mutts mare? IF you say anything bad like that about the shadow haunters I will tear you to pieces! She snorted.

Darkia her daughter followed.

Pan & Chenoa

This girl obviously had some life lessons to learn and Pan was in no mood to play teacher.

The body, a burning red against his brilliant white, it did not take away from the fact that’s he was completely ignorant though. His mood gave way for many chances, many opportunities to pull herself out of this black hole of dumb ass. He was officially annoyed, and as any annoyed horse he flicked his ears backward and clenched his teeth together. She threw out her voice once more, tearing through the peaceful sound of wind clasping his ears. “I’m here to form an alliance for my Legion.” That’s his fucking excuse, bitch.

His expression still cold, muscles twitching tightly around his bones, it was about that time — time to leave. Chenoa’s familiar screech distracted his once pinned ears, black marble-eyes lifted to the white bird who closed in swiftly, clutching his mane as she landed. The pale crow locked eyes with the mare, her expression soft and blind of the situation, although she could feel the tenseness pour from the white stallion. Before she could inquire what was going on, the wolves came closer. They had noticed her little remark.

Pan chuckled to himself as he watched them approach with defense on their minds, he was not the only one irritated with her arrogance. Chenoa clung to the side of her old friend, watching as the situation grew heavier.

Jeta

Ooids of the darkest color possible rolled outwardly at the quickly falling situation. A rude interruption and an even ruder stud. Not good incidents for my temperment, as even as it may normally be. Auds were still flattened to the fairy's blood stained skull, pearly whites reveal from beneath labias in a sneer. Guess it's up to the ignorant ignoble to take control. Make this entertaining. Never send the lambs to kill a wolf. In this case, a very pissy mare. Muscles still tense, focus runs to the virile first, as this was the conversation I was initially in. It would come first, as tiring of a task it may be to keep it going. Bitch? You say that like it's a bad thing. I'm not impressed. Your vocabulary is not flattering. It's pitiful. Gaze fell upon the bird for an instant as it landed upon the demon's archway. Seeing it as insignificant, twins immediately switched back to the caliph.

Was I in the way of your mission then? For you approached me, yet you ask my intentions and make it seem like you mean business with yours.

Gleam registered across pools, wondering what kind of lame brained comment he'd have to fall back on now. But, oh yeah, there was another thing to take care of first. The wolf and her pup. This was almost worthy of a sigh as frame faced them reluctantly.

I speak my opinions. It is my way. And I cannot even pretend to feel sorry for my comments on the account that you were eavesdropping to even hear it.

The icey glare was now directed more downward at the k-9. This should be interesting.

Mikia

She snorted and shook. This is the land of the Shadow Haunters missy, I am second in command of the horse division. Now unless you want all of haunter society to pummel you i suggest you tell me your intentions on shadow lands! She snorted standing tall.It was a good thing that mare was on the other side of the moat cause if she even dared tried to cross serpents would be biting her not just regular serpents deadly ones and crocodiles too.She snorted.

Darkia.

Pan & Chenoa

Pan’s expression washed over with it’s own lethargic mess of a dirty look, locks sprawled over his stern façade, muscles tense against his bones. My vocabulary? Really? At least I make sense, love. His eyes strayed from her, a grin creasing his greasy black lips, this would be fun. Little Miss Jeta thought she had it in the bag, convinced she has outsmarted the most of us. How dumb she really is — it still amazes the Spanish blood stallion to the moment. His pale companion ruffled her feathers as the red mare began to spit her piece, hissing at him as if she was some cat in heat with an anger problem. Her eyes locked with the mare’s for a moment, and then the pale bird faded into the distance, Pan was on his own again — Chenoa had no patience for such games, she had nothing to gain from it.

Ah, in fact you did distract me, red mare…” He drew his a deep sigh, lifting his glass eyes to meet her own cool glare. “And had you been worth it — I would have gone further, but it seems you have everything figured out on your own…red mare.” Indeed she did, swatting her little beamy eyes from one lesser being to the next; oh the little girl she really is.

The other mare caught a short look from Pan, he was nothing against her, in fact they remained allies on a political basis. Pan tilted his head with a nod, returning his heated stare towards the other mare.

Jeta

My intentions were to pass through. I saw no signs with the words "no tresspassing" so I decided it as good a place as any to cross through.

Now onto the other problem.

Everything? I wouldn't even pretend to have everything figured out. That would take all the fun out of life.

Mikia and Darkia and Hura

Mikia laughed at the other.Yes well youra stranger on the lands of the haunters. Why dont you use your nose to smell. Though you can't cross this moat with out being eaten because of all the creatures that live in it dumbass and they will only pull off if a haunter tells them too. So I suggest you leave nowShe spoke

Hura a polar bear who was also a haunter. A mother yes but she still helped hte haunters in what ever way she could. Horse i suggest you leave, You are upsetting the delicate balance of harmony we have hereShe spoke.

Joey an african elephant one of the defenders of the shadow haunters lands also came out his trunk dangling over one of his long tusks. What is the problem here? He let his trunk dip into the moat to pick up some water and transfer it to his mouth.

Prisoner

A black and white mare perked night auds as she heard the commotion of the others. With a sigh, she pushed herself from her graze Prisoner, you old girl... your son is gone, but you cannot dwindle on it and let it get in the way of your responsibilities.

Moving past the rubble and to the group, She offered a few nips in the direction of the elephan and polar bear. "Settle down you guys. There is no reason to get upset." Moving past the group and to her place as Horse Lead; The three year old mare stood and stared at Jeta, a soft smirk on her velvet pink lips before speaking in a soft tone. "The moat crawling with venomous snakes and crocodiles wasn't a "No Trespassing" to you? If you are here just to pass, You could have requested an escort. You couldn't have possibly thought to sneak through our lands with over 300 of us, did you?" She looked to the stallion who had requested an alliance before looking to the other member of the pack. Her dark orbs finished on the mare once again.

Jeta

A small snicker escaped delicate scarlet maw as the nosy femme spoke some more about the dangerous moat and its contents. Again, I'm stifling a yawn. Save your threats for the next wanderer. Twin pools of ebonite rolled in obvious agitation as more animals wandered up. I swear they should call this place eavesdroppers anonymous. Again, not scared so shut your empty trap and move on. You're not very good entertainment. If I want your company, I'll request it. Flame kissed thorns flickered as another shadow arrived from behind the others, an instant change in the air being felt. This one emitted respect. Must be the lead. Hope this one's more mature than the rest. I think they need a time out. Must not get visiters often. I wonder why. As the huntress spoke, a deep sigh escaped labias. Please. The moat threat is old and way overused, even in this short conversation. If I wanted to try to cross it, I would have done so already. Since I haven't even attempted to, I would say I'm staying on this side, wouldn't you? So stop wasting your breath. Sneak? I never said anything about sneaking. Skulking around in shadowy corners trying not to get caught? Not my cup of tea, sorry. As for an escort? Come on, you can't be serious. I need no lame brained equid filling up my space and my patience just to waltz through one simple territory. As I didn't get any more than I had hoped for out of the new arrival, harks moseyed back to their flattened position upon skull, voids focused on the czaress.

No sneaking was intentioned. I planned to walk through the outer borders and right to the exit. And I don't believe I require a map.

Pan & Mochni

Pan did not listen further; his lips explored the broad smooth faces of long ferns and draping leaves. Aponi’s loud eagle screech interrupted his stream of peace; long pale ears leaned into her soothing wise voice, her rapid tone insinuating her urgency. Pan’s black eyes met with her own, the large bird found landing along a close branch. “There’s a new cat in the Valley; Mochni and Iye are there.” Pan’s growl-voice hummed in agreement, pale head swinging to bring his body close in toe, disappearing into the umbrage of mist and shadows. Mochni was soon to follow.

Mikia

She snorted and shook her dial.Well by any means i would watch your tone missy. Don't take that tone with us

Jeta

Twins watched the feathery exchange between the pearly brute and his pet, snorting lightly in amusement. Talking to the birds eh? Guess no other can stand your company. As the titan turned and disappeared, sneer reappeared upon muzzle. Good riddance. Go find some other mounting block, brogue. Then turning gaze upon the other fem who spoke to me, tiara rose slightly at her words. Tone? Maybe I would have a better attitude if I hadn't aleady run out of patience having to speak to the other imbeciles behind you. They really wear on that virtue. Not like I usually have a lot to spare. What are you going to do about my attitude? Send the scary snakes and other threats out of the moat after me? What kind of herd needs the help of invertebraes to save them? I mean, really. It's always more fun to be your own protectors. Come on, if you're so spooky with your Shadow Haunters name, at least do your own haunting. Don't send a pool of ropes at your enemies. It's disdainful. Snorting again, I turned toward the exit I had been looking for from the beginning and started in a ground eating trot as I tossed lyrics over my blood stained shoulder.

My tone changes with the crowd. Guess I'd better find new company to change it.

Prisoner

The mares harks fastened to her blood stained skull as the mare began to walk away. Mocking them in their place. She was only lucky she hadn't encountered the less forgiving Haunters of the land. There were so many and yet the mare simply brushed it aside as if the Haunters were a pack of ninnies. A bad idea on her part, but Prisoner would say nothing. She would simply tell risen that this red mare was not to be trusted. As much as the Haunters wanted all the help they could get, this mare seemed like the type that wouldn't be able to find a pack within the valley.

Prisoner stared at the mare as she walked away, holding the ground she stood on tightly. Watching the water near the mares feet began to crawl and become alive. There was more than 50 water moccasins following after her. Keeping their eyes on her for any bad move. Venom lead his children and grandchildren along behind him. Letting his head come up before flickering a tongue to taste the air. Then letting it submerge beneath the water once again.

On the side opposing the dear Jeta, a rhino appeared and began to walk behind the rubble. Her tiny eyes kept upon the mare. Yzunala was born and raised here, and wasn't about to let this mare infiltrate her home. She didn't say anything to the mare, however, and after she passed she would stop, only to see her go. Mo< If Jeta were to look at the Rhino hard enough, a little orange tuft of fur collected along her back. Toki, the cheetah, lay upon the rhino. His keen orange eyes narrowed at her, but he stayed low. For right now, a ride and the sunbath was enough for him.

Ino

Ino, an Egyption plover, swooped down from the sky. She had already informed Risen of this little... pest... and wanted the mare to see the leader herself. "Aye aye!" She called down. Swooping up and into a tree, Her black beady eyes staying down where the mare was coming. "Yo' name i' Je'a no?" She cackled down. She fluttered her wings, Making sure to get the horses attention. "Wha' i' wrong wit' yo' 'ead ma'e?" Her accent came out thick, not even trying to correct it.

Jeta

Chasms of darkness were back focused on the path before scarlet carcuss. Yet eavesdroppers of crimson were flickering around delicately, keeping place of the area around and those in it. I was careless sometimes, I will admit, but not dumb enough to let my guard down. Especially in a land full of nothing but threats against me. I knew better than that at least. And I would not go down without a fight. Hearing the slithering did not bother me. Snakes couldn't slither hard enough to keep up with an almost full blooded arabian. Sorry, belly crawler, the wind is my ally. It propells me and only holds you back. Nares flared in distaste of the unusual and strange, catching the scent of other kinds here. Kinds not meant for these lands. A rhino? Yeah, like that belongs here. A cheetah? Still strange. It's like Africa is built connected to this land. Whatever. I wasn't curious enough to stay and investigate. This place was too one sided for the likes of me. A snort suddenly escaped nostrillian region and muscles tightened once more at yet another arrival in the party. Well come aboard. Guess it's just getting started. Wings flapping, hmm. Pools of dancing flame in the shadows looked up as my name was spoken in a rich thick accent of some place I didn't know. A bird now. This just keeps getting better and better. As the bird spoke once more, flame licked auds flattened against their master, soft yet hard edged lyrics began their spinning from delicate maw.

Lead mare? I am no such thing. I neither lead nor follow. I am solo, an outcast. And nothing is wrong with me but these lands. I come in just to pass through, get harassed by a stud with a booty call, then get threatened by other equids about snakes. I am leaving now, never to return. Why do you intend to hold me up?

Defcon

The zebra stallion soon met up with his herdmates, Kalina perching on his shoulder. "She a troublemaker, that what she is." The gyrfalcon screeched.

Defcon glanced back. "Now, now, Kalina, be polite." Kalina scowled and ruffled her wings, but Defcon looked at Jeta. "My herd does not mean any harm. We are, however, very wary of trespassers. But I can see there must have been some sort of misunderstanding. If you would like, I could send for the alpha, unless you do not wish to stay any longer." Defcon, always the diplomat, always the gentleman. He only wished for peace throughout the entire Valley.

Jeta

Blood washed twin pinnacles flickered in the direction of a new voice. God, another bird? Are you kidding me? Are they the rulers of these lands or somethng? Midnight lampistra stare down the new equine curiously, pillars slowing to a halt at his tone. Well at least this one had manners. Listening to his lyrics, which sounded a hell of a whole lot better than the screeching of the others around here. I mean, god, do any of them ever speak in other times? It's like their voices haven't been used in years. Socialize a little people. It doesn't sting that bad. Turning ballerina shaped scarlet framework to face the stag that spoke, ooids gentled to a flirty hue as a soft seductive voice escaped labrums.

Yes, a misunderstanding. I appreciate your offer, but I do not see anything coming out of me meeting the alpha, with all due respect. Nothing could be gained from it.

Ino

The bird cawed angerly. "I di'n'ta say an'athin' abou' bein' a lead.. I sai' 'ead... You'w h-ead." The birds bitty eyes narrowed a bit as the zebra came. She could handle this well on her own.

Under her breath, the bird cursed in a foreign tongue before her brown head looked back up. Chirping uneasily to herself before turning to the mare.

"D'no' wais't ye time on 'er.. M'lady Risen does no' need ta consul' such a disrespe'ful creature." Eyes of the tiny berry eaters glued onto the mare.

Defcon

Kalina looked at the smaller bird. "I agree with Ino." She then turned her gaze to Jeta. "This no place for disrespectful mare."

Defcon shook his head as he listened to the birds, though kept his eyes on the mare. "If you would like to leave now, I can escort you to a safe exit." He offered politely.

Jeta

Orbs found their gaze pulled back to the bird as it spoke again. That heavy accent is a pain. I still can't understand a word you say, pigeon. But come close enough to my hindquarters and I'll show you a good dose of disrespectable with my daggers. Occuli gleamed at the fun that would be. Birdy football, my favorite. Ignoring the parakeet's jibes, gaze turned to the next contestant in line. Snorting softly at the duchess's words, lanturns flashed. Learn how to speak proper english then you can attempt to dictate who stays and who goes, child. I have no time for kindergardners. Listeners flickered toward the striped caliph as he shook his crown, letting maw loosen again into an inviting smile as attention turned to him. Nodding my own scarlet tiara, soft voice pronounced.

That would be most welcome, kind sir. Please do so.

Risen

The bickering between Haunters and this "Jeta" had gotten out of hand. The birds grew uneasy and the snakes were on edge. Risen knew it was time for her voice to be heard, and her presence to be known.

Her thin, small body carried itself effortlessly around the rubble of the Ruins. Gliding over piles, and maneuvering around pillars, the female made a quick pace to the group that was holding up the mare. Her heart pounded, and when she saw the group of them, her anger flared. Grizzled fur trembled on end as the black souls of her eyes shrunk to tiny voids. Gold coins embraced the female in a hungry, eerie kind of way, and Risen smiled. That dark, dreadful little smile of hers as her strides slowed and she entered the water.

Snakes coiled around her body, greeting the alpha by making the water tremble around her hide. Bodies moved over her and when she came out, she had a harness of snakes. Her grizzled gray coat had become one tangled mess of reptiles. Only her tail, legs, and face could be seen as the venomous water snakes made a continuous path around her body, their heads only pausing a second to "update" where the mare was standing.

As her deep yellow eyes stared into the square pupils of Jeta, an empty look seemed to take her. Her breathing, if heard, was slow and deep. "What has happened here... Jeta? If I may ask... My members seem to be treating you quite rudely" At the word she looked up at the two birds, and as if on cue, a few of the several snakes around her looked at the birds and hissed.

Ino backed a little, making a small peep that quickly died at the alpha's look.

Risen, even with the snakes covering her body, only stood to, at most, the horses knee. Weighing a mere 60 pounds of speed, the female was anything but large and intimidating... well... snakes not included of course. It was all in her eyes, those strong, demanding, authoritative eyes that her power seemed to lay.

Jeta

Eavesdroppers of crimson flickered to the side as another prescence was made known. Oh god, another one? When will the barrage stop? I swear, do you people ever get tired of harassing visitors? Slender features turned to assess the newcomer, ebony tabiries immediantly narrowing. This one was different, I could see that at first sight. The way she held herself, her strangely dead occulus. Smirk curved labrums. Ah, this must be the alpha. Well speak of the devil (ess in this case) and she will come. Blood stained banner allowed itself to swish flanks in excitement. Well this should be good. Watching the femme disappear then reappear out of the murky depths of the moat, serpents curving around her bodice affectionately, a look of distaste crossed countenance. Yeah, ok, the snake thing? Just a little weird, honey. As the huntress positioned herself before my athletic carcuss, dial lowered a moment in respect, harks flattening upon their master. I do know when not to show an ass of myself, thank you very much. Then raising proud crania again, lampistra measured up the other czaress. Not a big thing, are you? But hell, I've seen em shorter. Seeing the smart aleck bird on the branch shudder, smirk revealed back upon facade. Scared, are we? Well I don't take to fear easily but hell, I can keep up with this fem. Gaze meeting the other's calmly, maw allowed lyrics to escape back to the fae at hand.

I was just about to allow myself to be escorted from your lands and out of your hide. No more trouble, you see. What happened, you ask? Simple. I was passing through, got held up by a horny stud, then the fellows that you see here all showed up for the party. Nothing big.

Risen

Her eyes returned as the mare spoke of the happenings in her land. A horny stud? The stallions of her pack know better than to assert sexual relations on another, or at least they should. This must have been the stallion she was told about earlier. A gruel look came upon her face as she heard about him and the others bothering the female. "I am sorry, the stallion you encountered doesn't sound like he'd be one of ours. And I apologize for the uptight defenses around here, we have children that others in the valley would like to see parish before they reach adulthood, and sometimes they try and assert this idea whilst on our own land. "

Her eyes again turned to the group that was on the other side of the moat. A flash in them made the others nod before moving away peacefully. " Ino, go check on Temptation. I'm sure she would like to hear the news of Kalaber" The bird fidgeted a nod before taking off to the sky. Then Risen's eyes flashed to Kalina, "And you just keep your mouth shut, you aren't helping matters."

With the instructions, she looked at Defcon, "I assume it was he that was to escort you?" it was then that her body armor of snakes replied with a hissing tone. A long drawn out, "yes" that repeated a few times depending on the mouth. Risen nodded. "So be it, Defcon, see that this mare is safely escorted from the lands, if any try to bother you. They will have a lashing from me."

Her attention returned to the mare. "Once again, There was no need for harassment on my lands, I apologize for the over assault." She nodded before going back into the water, the river serpents leaving her body in a wing shape before disappearing under the water. The female came up on the other side soaked, showing her scar battered hind end more clearly than ever. But she paid no mind to it as she turned and sat, nodding to the Zebra to go ahead and escort her out. She gave the mare the sign 'anymore questions should be asked now, of I shall leave to attend to duty.'

Jeta

Flame kissed thorns flickered toward the ess, listening as she gave orders left and right to the group. Chasms gleamed with interest. Finally one who deserves some respect. This one's not full of empy threats and attempted evil glares. No, she seemed more than that. Fire licked flag whipped around flanks again, thoughtful. Maybe she should work on making the rest of this clan the same. More action, less talk. Nostrillian region flared. A simple nod of flame kissed countenance was given to the femina at her question. Even though it seemed she didn't need one as harks picked up the serpents' tones answering the demoness's question themselves. As she spoke to the striped fellow, auds flicked again. Time to leave. Finally. As the other's focus came back, another nod was given in acknowledgment as shapely pillars danced blood washed carcuss over to stand beside the zebra male, ooids flickering to him with a smile then back to the other duchess.

Your apologies are appreciated. There was no harm done so all is well. Thank you for the assistance. I shall remember it.

Defcon

Defcon listened as Risen spoke before he turned to Jeta. "Shall we go now? The path is this way." He led the mare over the moat and down a trail of relatively level ground, good for the hooves of equines. There didn't seem to be many creatures on this particular trail at this time. It would lead them to the other side of the ruins and to the exit of the territory.

Jeta

Orbitals turned to the bronco as he spoke, nodding delicate tiara at his request to get going. I was definitely wanting to exit this place. As he led, limbs of slender tendon and muscle danced scarlet corpse behind him, auditories flickering all around, listening, alert. Flame kissed plumage swished behind hindquarters as I pranced, nostrils flaring to take in the strange scents of this place. As the brute led, he didn't speak and it frustrated me. Thorns pinned slightly upon their master as two by fours quickened their pace, catching up to waltz beside the hunter, satellites slightly pricking in his direction as lyrics escaped maw in a soft inviting form.

So, how long have you lived here?
