Cavan & Others
While Risen had her paws full directing the different groups and preparing things for the battle, Cavan had taken it upon himself to begin grouping up the Warriors. After ascending a cluster of haphazardly-stacked stones, the beta sent a low, wispy howl to call for the main body of fighters. He then settled his yellow eye on the empty ground below, while seating his grizzled haunches on the stone and letting his tail rest idly at his side.
"...yeah, but he's been gone for quite a while." Martimoor was saying as he sauntered into the area, with Leopeson at one shoulder and Little Tuft and Vensaii trailing behind. "He should have been back by now."
The noble-faced yearling shook his head as he stopped himself a few feet in front of Cavan's rock perch. "There is nothing we can do about it right now." Though he didn't like the idea of Xuvan missing, and even more not doing anything about it, Leopeson knew what the priorities were, "Risen has enough to deal with right now, and we cannot spare anyone to search for him."
The soft clatter of hooves announced the arrival of the herbivors as Wolf Eye, Diadem, Nightshade, and Frostlit moved in a cluster towards the Coalition. Of the group of stags, Diadem was the largest, and sported an impressive rack. It was far from the 14-point beauty it would someday be, but with dense brow cups and two nicely formed twin tines on each beam, he could do some serious damage.
Padding back from the Temple, Callholm seated himself a little ways from the others and began to pick the ice from his fur. Settling beside his friend, Leope joined in the effort to rid the leopard of the frozen pellets. Dulsca, Ginger, Yarrow, and Chahaya took their place between the Coaltion and the two males.
Warfell was accompanied by Panther and Bergamot as they responded to the call. Close behind them was Huerosan, Dawning Eclipse, and Destroying Angel, while Monarda sauntered even further behind the canines.
Donte and Lion were busy talking over the return of Bandit, while Tersek made his rounds and inspected the inflow of soldiers.
The bulky grizzly made his way along as well, looking more than a little sluggish and drowzy, but that betrayed the true speed and reaction that the monsterous carnivor possessed. He had spent most of the past months in and out of hibernation, and recently was prodded into getting active by Lion.
