Vaermina

They weren't suppose to leave Dima's Temple, or at least that was impression Vaermina had. Still, it didn't stop the pup from subtly slipping out into the Ruins. Perhaps it was her mother's cocky attitude that made her feel like she was above the others, as she felt she didn't need anyone else to explore the Ruins with her.

The lean hybrid picked her through her home with surprising ease, her agile built making it quiet easy for her to move around. Her dark brown eyes taking in the Haunter base for the first time, as she hadn't been outside the Temple of the Haunted - with the exeption of Dima's Temple. Her brilliant white coat, with odd flecks of black at the ends of her ears, nose and tail.

Arquen

The baby caiman was resting on the shore of the moat when she saw the pup. "You shouldn't go too far from the Temple. There are evil beasts out there." She said, pointing her snout off at the horizon.

Vaermina

The alabaster pup whirled round when she heard a voice, and had to search for a bit before she spotted the caiman. Cocking her head, Vaermina approached Arquen, her protruding shoulder-bones making her look almost feline.

"Thanks for the heads up, but I can take care of myself."

Arrogant? Yes; after all, she possessed many of the qualities of her mother, Incalia. Still, she remembered the reptiles advice, even if she wouldn't admit it.

"Who are you?"

Arquen

The caiman hybrid smiled, not picking up on the arrogance. She was nearly immune to it, like her mother. "I am Arquen, daughter of Orinoco and Ard-Rai." She replied. "Who are you?"

Vaermina

The white hybrid pup noted the dragon's name to memory, before answering the reptile's question. "My name's Vaermina, daughter of Incalia and Shaman."

Vaermina always put her mother first out of respect of her mothers rank within the Haunters.

Arquen

Arquen nodded in acknowledgment. "Greetings, Vaermina, daughter of Incalia and Shaman." She replied formally, her eyes gleaming. "What position do you hope to have when you grow up? I, being a River Dragon, will be a guard whether I like it or not."

Vaermina

Vaermina listened to the reptile, her brown eyes looking over Arquen's small body - she knew too well that she wouldn't be small for long. The white pup sat down on her muscular haunches, and after hearing what position Arquen would be in, began to contemplate her own future.

"To be honest, I haven't really thought about it," she began, falling silent for a moment or two, "either a warrior, or a mother I think. My mother and my siblings and half-siblings have all been in the line of warrior or Mother. All except my half-brother Bandit, but mother hasn't seen him for a while.."

It was true, Incalia hadn't seen one of her oldest sons for a while.

"I guess I will be whatever Lady Risen wishes for me to be."
