Laine

The four-foot tall secretary bird strode to the Ruins, looking like an Indian chief in full regalia with the black plumes on her head. She was still young, but nearly full-grown. She raised her head and let out a croak for the pack that lived here. "I am Laine, daughter of Penny and Samuel, and I wish to join the Shadow Haunters." She called out, taking a few steps closer to the temple where her mother had been held captive.

Runi

Hard squishy thumping could be heard as the damp paws of a hybrid canine came racing toward Laine. She huffed as she darted along then slid to a halt in front of the towering bird. The soaked borzoi wolf mix looked up at the creature and stepped back for a moment. "P-Penny? No, the daughter of Penny. Wh-why do you want to join the Shadow Haunters?" The quesiton was more in confusion than actualy acceptance speech. They had taken their mother captive and had snapped both of her legs, why would one of her offspring be here? She didn't detest in the least bit, but it did puzzle her greatly.

Laine

Laine nodded. "I can understand your confusion. My mother was tortured here. I'm sure you can remember." She first said, giving her head a slight tilt. "But I have come to realize that your way is the only way. I want to help save the Valley before the other side ruins it completely." She was always the roughest and most aggressive of the sisters, and wanted to be a part of a pack she would fit in.

Runi

There was still a slight bit of question, but the female smiled and nodded. If she had been one of the more tougher Haunters, she would have pressed further questions, but Laine seemed trustworthy enough. "Sounds fair, but you will have to wait until Lady Risen returns to recieve full membership. Come, you can help us keep an eye out for danger while the Warriors are away." With that she turned and pranced back toward Dima's temple.

Laine

Laine nodded and smiled. "Alright." She simply replied, following the hybrid.
