Sekou
Sekou, a 15-foot Crocodile Monitor, walked slowly across the stone and dirt. His large claws and long tail left marks in the ground. His tongue flicked in and out and saliva dripped from his fearsome jaws. His scales shone brightly in the sun, looking like gleaming beads. Finally he reached the edge of the moat and rested his belly on the dirt beside it. He looked at the Temple, taking everything is. He then called out for the ones he came to see. "I am Sekou, and I come in search of acceptance into the Shadow Haunters pack!" He said aloud.
Risen
The female wolf came toward the temple after another confrontation with Kalaber, only to again be ceased by the calls of another. At least this one wasn't wanting them dead.
Moving around, she trotted up toward the lizard and paused in front of him. Her smile showed through as she gave a bow of greeting to him. "Welcome stranger. I am Risen, Daughter of Vicious and Fallen, alpha of the Shadow Haunters. What brings you to want to join theHaunters?" Her eyes showed power, but her stance showed that of small fatigue.
Sekou
The massive lizard bowed back to Risen and spoke to her. "I have heard of your pack, and I liked the idea of it." He replied casually, his tongue flicking in and out of his mouth. "I have heard that you wish to bring peace to the Valley and end all wars. Is this true?"
Risen
A faint smile graced her face as the lizard spoke of the pack with such optimism. "It is true. The old valley was plagued with war on war, death upon death, and the disrespect toward all other occupants." She paused for a moment, her strength-filled look increasing as she complemented the mission of the Haunters. "In Shadow Valley, There will be no war, everyone will respect one another. Killing will be diminished. There will be ceremonies for deaths, ceremonies for birth, festivals for memories and festivals for allies. But," Again another pause as her day dream dissolved to reality. "I know I will not be alive long enough to see such days. I will only be able to die knowing I have opened the doors to such a option. So that such a future has a chance to exist." she looked strongly to Sekou now. And the more she told herself the story, the more she wanted to see it come true. A world of powerful creatures living beside each other. And with high hopes to conquer the humans. Those who have stolen their land. But this would not be discussed during her lifetime with the the warriors.
Sekou
Sekou lifted himself up again, having regained some of his energy from being in the sunlight. He smiled as Risen spoke. "That sounds like an honorable goal." He replied respectfully. "I would like to join the Shadow Haunters, if that is alright." He paused before speaking again. "I noticed you have a moat around your temple in which water reptiles live. While I am arboreal and do not feel at home in the water, perhaps I can serve as a guard on land. From the trees I have a good vantage point as well. And I can also aid in battles, if you wish."
Risen
Risen thought for a moment, those deep yellow eyes swimming in thought. A large reptile, they all served a purpose and all of them very useful. She graced one more smile. " You may be a part of our cause great Sekou, Welcome to the Shadow Haunters. Guards will be called into battle if warriors need back up. There are other land Guardians as well which include some stags, rhinos, and horses. The water dwellers are crocodiles, caimen, alligators, and water snakes. Feel free to chose a room in the upper level of the temple." She gave a deep bow to the lizard.
"If you shall excuse me, I hear our beta male calling me, If you would like to come into the temple and meet him you may, but our conversations usually hold to be uninteresting." She gave another bow as Ghoul came up. He watched the reptile. "Ghoul I would like you to show our new member, Sekou, around if you would." Ghoul looked to the reptile then bowed to him. "My pleasure, Mistress." He said.
Risen turned and trotted away to speak with Cavan in the temple. Ghoul stayed and turned to the lizard with a friendly tail wag. "Greetings, My name is Ghoul, Son of Vicious and Incalia. Welcome to the Shadow Haunters."
Sekou
Sekou smiled when Risen accepted him into the pack. "And I promise I will always do my best, for the sake of Shadow Valley." He said respectfully. Then Ghoul came, and he turned around to face the canine. "Tidings, brother. I am Sekou. I regret that I cannot make my introduction personal. I have never seen my parents." He replied warmly. "I believe I will like it here."
Ghoul
He gave a wolven smile as the other predicted his feelings. Being born into the pack, he didn't have to predict much. He knew right off the bad he would like to fight along side the great Warriors of the Shadow Haunters. "I believe you will like it here as well. We all respect one another, for we all know we are powerful in our own ways."
There was a moment's pause as Ghoul heard the cry of their new ally group. Snorting he gave somewhat of a laugh. "Seems like we are needed again." He turned to Sekou. "I am sorry our greeting was short lived. I shall converse with you when I return, brother." He nodded with a smile before plunging himself off to join the battle.
Sekou
Sekou listened as Risen called the warriors together. "I'll help you. I can move quickly on land if the weather is right." He said before following his new friend.
