Mahala/Yareli/Night Eyes/Riverhawk/Sky Dancer

Mahala walked to the Ruins with her canine friends. Yareli, a wolf, was right by her side. The American Indian dogs were bringing up the rear. "Come now, friends. We must be quick." The human told the dogs. She soon found a shady place under a tree and took advantage of it.

Night Eyes, the only male of the group, served as a sentry while the others rested.

Alderon

A thundering nose came from a distance, easy slow steps that boomed across the land as his heave feet hit the cement of the ground. As he rounded a corner the large black Rhino stared dead on at the group of dogs and human. Though at glance they looked like Haunters, their smell proved otherwise. "Halt, who goes there?" He growled out to them, ears erect toward the blurred group. His head lifted and bounced a little to clear his sights, but to no avail.

Mahala/Others

Night Eyes lowered his head in a submissive posture. "My name is Night Eyes. The other canines are Yareli, Riverhawk, and Sky Dancer. My human companion is named Mahala." He informed politely. "We are travelers, and we wish to stay here for a short while."

Mahala's eyes were wide with fear. She felt as if she couldn't make a move. Yareli leaned on her, trying to comfort her.

Alderon

The bull lowered his head to eye the group again. Moving slowly toward them. Then stopping a ways. "I smell a human, do not humans wish us harm?" He growled somewhat under his dry lips. The alpha was not in, nor the beta. Could he truly trust a human and her dogs?

Mahala/Others

Night Eyes stepped back nervously. "This human is different - she lives with the animals. She is like an animal herself, and would not harm any creature unless it first harms her." He said cautiously. Riverhawk stepped beside the male. "If you mean no harm to her, she means no harm to you." The female stated.

Mahala avoided looking straight at the rhino, as she has learned that most animals do not like to be stared at.

Shattered .+. Alderon

With the main alphas gone the Rhino male didn't know what to take on the group. Quickly he called out, a boom for someone of higher status than him. Out came the one eye, multi-scare-faced femme Shattered. Through her single eye she could see the group, but the human scent had yet to rest upon her.

As she neared she calmed the Rhino. "Hush Alderon, it is alright." She was not of very high authority, but more than the Rhino himself and could make a decent judgment. Turning to the group she approached them. "Greetings cousins, My name is Shattered, Daughter of Vicious and Insecure and... is that a Human I smell..." Her nose had caught the scent of the human and she now searched for her through her single orb. When she spotted the human her satin fur went up. Highlighting the brown wolf immensely. Alderon shifted in the background but said nothing. "She means us no harm? What does she eat if she were to house with us?" She growled uneasly. "Will she harm us?" Alderon answered all the info he had been given to the wolf.

"I suppose she could stay with us a while, but the alpha is going to have my head..." She sighed, "We are to eat soon, does she eat meat?"

Mahala/Others

Night Eyes wondered why this group was so uncomfortable around humans. They must have a good reason, though. "Any punishment that your alpha would give you can go to me, for I have promised that the human will not harm any of you." He said. He wagged his tail when they spoke of eating. "She will eat anything that we eat. She will gladly eat meat."

Shattered

The glowing wolf listened to the dog's words then shook her head and laughed nervously. "No, trust me, you do not wish to bare punishment from Lady Risen. I will explain to her that the human is alright. Does this human know others or does she live among you?" She questioned one last time, making sure more were not to come.

Night Eyes

Night Eyes nodded. "She knows only us." He replied happily. It looked like they were finally going to be a part of a pack.

Shattered

The wolfess gave a sigh of relief as the words were spoken then nodded for the group to follow her into the temple. "Come I will introduce you, though we are dining soon. The hunters should be home by now." She said with a smile then walked to the temple.

Mahala & Pack

Night Eyes bowed, then turned to the others and barked for them to follow. One by one, they silently made their way into the Temple.
