Aeras & Malaki

Aeras padded slowly into the Ruins, her cub Malaki swinging from her mouth. The tigeress was tired from their long trek to get here and from carrying her cub most of the way. He was only two months old but when you had to carry him over many miles her got heavy real soon.

Aeras looked around carefully, finally deciding this would be a good place to rest for the night. She hid Malaki in some bushes and then began searching for a place for them to sleep that was safe. Aeras found a pillar that had fallen and landed on a stone wall making a little shelter underneath. It was just big enough for at least two full grown tiger so it was perfect. The mother tiger went back to get her cub, carefully picking him up by the loose skin on his neck and walked back to the shelter.

It was still light out so Aeras layed down in the warm sun, basking and grooming Malaki. The tiger cub growled and pulled away, swatting at his mother's ear playfully. Aeras smiled and rolled over onto her back, gently tapping her cub and growling playfully. Malaki pounced on her chest and pulled at her fur. Aeras smiled and pushed him off and then rolled over again, pulling him between her front paws to rest. "I think we've finally found our new home, Malaki."

Sacrifice .+. Rasheetah

A pair of Haunters had caught the scent of the two felines that had come upon the land. With moments growing ever darker against the group, precautions had to be delt with in a professional manner. That ment investigating every intruder upon the land, be them friend or foe. There was no second chance if an enemy were to enter their domain.

The two faced wolfess was the first to appear over a mound of fallen rubble. Her half black/half gray face held high to show her rank in the pack. Blue eyes burning gently as she watched the mother and son play in the falling sun. At first glance they looked to be of no harm, but one could not judge so quickly. She moved forward slowly, lowering her head in a bow to show she ment them no harm, then raised it once again to adress the pair.

The second figure over the mound was a powerful cheetah. Her head was held high as well, about even with Sacrifices if not higher. She, too, stepped forward with a bowed head to show no harm to the mother and child. Then stood next to the two faced wolf. Sacrifice quickly greeted the two:"Welcome Mother and child. I am Sacrifice, Member of the Shadow haunters, Daughter of Vicious and Kage. This is my companion." "Rasheetah" The cheetah introduced herself with a bow then continued where Sacrifice had left off. "We do not mean to be rude to those who come to the land of the Ruins on a normal basis, but times have gotten harsh and we fear those who are against us will try and persuade us to let them into our homes. If so then our pack is sure to fall. You and your child seem to be of no harm to us, As we are of no harm to you. But I do must question. Are you an ally of the 'Guardians'?" She left it at that, if the tigress was an ally of the Ancient ones, she would know what Rasheetah was talking about. She could only hope that they were not in accords with their enemy.

Aeras & Malaki

Aeras, though she looked happy and unaware of her surroundings was quite alert and on guard. With a cub she was even more wary and dangerous because a mother tiger with cubs was a force to be reckoned with. The tigress' tail twitched as she caught a brief scent of another feline and a wolf. Just as she was finishing their little game a wolf appeared ontop of a pile of rubble.

Aeras pulled Malaki closer to her chest and let out a soft hiss of warning to the canine and then the cheetah that followed. Her glowing amber eyes acknowledged Sacrifice's & Rasheetah's nods and she nodded briefly back. She sat up and pushed Malaki back behind her front legs, just incase. She had already lost one child, his sister, and she didn't plan on losing this one. Malaki peeked around from behind his mother's leg, wondering what was going on. He started to sneak out from under her but the tigress knew what he was going to do and cuffed him with her paw.

Aeras listened carefully to both of the Haunter's speak, ears and tail twitching. The tigress dipped her head and then looked up to speak. "Thank you. I am Aeras and this is my son Malaki." She motioned to her son and then went on. "These seem to be harsh times everywhere my son and I have gone. Guardians? No, I haven't heard of these 'Guardians' or the Shadow Haunters Sacrifice mentioned. We just arrived here today after looking for a better place to live than our last home. The Ruins seemed like a relatively safe place to rest for the night. I mean no harm to anyone who lives here, unless they threaten me or my son." The tiger gazed softly down at her cub before looking back at the two Haunters.

Sacrifice .+. Rasheetah

The cheetah listened intently, as did the wolf. They seemed to be in equal status, not so much like feral beasts as they did civilized creatures of their own. Sure they were somewhat brutal when brutality was nessicary, but if one did not mean them harm, then they would not harm them back. Unless of course, it was a meal. Preditors feasting upon preditors was something Risen would not allow.

"We hope the reign of this darkness will end soon. But we cannot be for certain." Said Sacrifice as she held up her posture as if a diplomat. Rasheetah nodded to the comment made then spoke again to Aeras. "Do not feel threatened by us, if you know not of who the Guardians are, you are safe. If you wish, I could speak with my alpha's and we could offer you and your son a place of shelter. We have cubs his age in the temple now. One of our other Tigress's gave birth to a litter and they should be just about his age now. We also have a few new wolf pups that are about his age. I also think we may be getting a meal tonight. We keep a herd of deer a few acres away. The pack does hunger and we should be hunting for them either tonight or tomorrow. Would you care to join?" she smiled, the thought of food made her stomach rumble. Plus it was time to cull out the warrior stags from those who were to breed and be eaten.

Aeras & Malaki

Aeras was feeling better about the wolf and cheetah now. They seemed like they were nice enough and just protecting their home. They also didn't look like ones to hurt a mother and her cub, still the tiger was wary. Aeras finally relaxed for the most part, even letting Malaki wander out infront of her paws though she kept a sharp eye on him. He could be very mischevious sometimes, trying to slip away from his mother.

Aeras nodded at Sacrifice's statement, kind of understanding that this must be a hard time for them right now. The tigress listened intently as Rasheetah spoke again, this time offering and Malaki shelter. She was very pleased with this offer and was definitely considering taking it. It would be a lot safer and Malaki would like to have other cubs to play with. Aeras was silent for a minute, the tip of her tail twitching by her side as she watched her son while thinking. A couple seconds or so later she looked up with a small smile.

"Thank you very much for the offer. I think that Malaki would definitely like to be around others his age and a meal sounds very...appealing. Yes, I think we would like it very much to join." Aeras nodded her head and smiled down at Malaki who was looking up at her with a big grin. He was definitely happy and excited to be able to play with other cubs.

Sacrifice .+. Rasheetah

The two females nodded their heads passively then stood to their feet and turned toward the large temple in the distance. "We are happy you will accompany us." Said Sacrifice with a sincere smile as she made her way back over the rubble and toward the temple.

Only after a quick walk did they near the mouth of the gaigantic structure. From there they made formation to show they were escorting the two into their abode. It was somewhat hostile, somewhat warm, with plenty of creatures living inside.
