Neveah
It's HEAVEN Backwards.
I can see the dead
All the time I feel their chilling presence
Constantly afraid
Why was I born cursed with this penance?
All the time
Day and night
In my head
Haunting me I can see The living dead
I can't turn my face away
The spirits forcing me to stay
I can see their eyes
Desperately their pale hands reaching for me
Drugs can't set it right
There is not a thing the doctors can do for me
All the time
Day and night
In my head
Haunting me I can see
The living dead.
"The Curse." --WOLF
Tendrils of red sprayed down her shoulders as she let her hair loose. The small band that held it rolled onto her ghostly wrist, and settled. The wind swelled and played within her hair, causing it to swirl about her eyes but not tangle. Neceah pushed the stray ends neatly behind her ears, sighing at the refreshing atmosphere. Glassy, maroon eyes lingered on the dirty mist that seemed to hang over the land, up in a niche beside the Croal Mountains. Since she had entered this myseterious land, she knew the magics of the place. Creatures here where wild, but organized, in communities, families, industries, and even the needed pro- and antagonists.
Neveah steadily walked over the protruding roots of the massive trees. Roots that seemed to wallow up the entire vicinity, covering it in Ancient majesty. When she topped the next ridge, ready to take a break as her breathing shortened from the low oxygen, she could only gasp at the Ruins that lay before her. I bet this was once a kingdom, as all nature once was. But rulers are overthrown and banished by the egotistical humans, she mused. Awe tickled over her whole being as she continued on, regenerated her now alert senses.
Lips pursed, thirsting for water, Neveah bounded over the last few remaining feet of roots. Now in a small clearing next to the west walls of one of the ruined buildings, she leaned against it with one hand, and scanned her discovery. What lurks, looms, ABIDES, here, I wonder. The young woman did not know what she had stumbled upon; whether it was abandoned or inhabited, she was alone, and unarmed.
...and if you pray onto me,
I shall lift you up into Paradise.
A flaming mane
flows about my neck and my eyes.
My deep, mahogany eyes.
For 16 years I've felt the celestial burn,
And I grow no more closer to Heaven than where I stand, at 5'8".
I've been abandoned, with no home, no man, and no child to love.

If only you saw through the eyes of the broken, and confuzed. But trust me, you don't want to. Guilt, and pain saught after Drift. Her life was a mess. Hudge, dirty, unsanitary mess. Two-leggeds had betreyed her one hundred times and over again. Her mind spun, quite rapidly feelig sorry for herself. But she'd be tuff...Right? Then on the other hand was little miss sunshine. Her bay pelt glistened under the odd shaped shadow-light that fell to her, with the leaves only allowing a slight glimse of sun to peek through to the ground. Her chocolate colored voids darted around, quickly inhailing the many scents. Probably even faster than what her canine companion. Alerty harks spun around atop her dome. Listning to birds, sing to the heavens. It was like some fantasy place. "Drift!" Vox echoed to the canine, in what may seem as a high-pitched whinn with a hit of rasp, for keeping quiet's sake. Auds swiveled quickly, the young equine had spotted a human. With locksthe color of flames. Armani Code hadn't seen a human in ages. This was both exciting, and a little scary. But she'd take the experienc eby the horns. Besides, if she didn't; Drift would. And it might get messy. The tawny colored canine fae skipped behind Armani, peering around through her long appendages. Her banner raised with a dominance. She wanted to love people again. But she wasn't going to warm up that quick. No fast friends for this girl. Armani almosted seemed to dance towards the human, but not to fast. A slow, steady, nearly silent gait carried her closer, to the human. She was a mere eight yards away. She was fearless; almost. Humans never seemed to be a threat to her. The fawn colored canine on the other paw, winced almots, keeping her breath quiet. Crazy, ludacris equine!

Carbon misted away from her mouth as she exhaled, still mystically awed by the majesty of the Ruins. Mauve eyes kept skipping from one thing to the next; the vines, roots, ruins, shadows and trees. Neveah had never been in such a place. It held regale ness above her, for the place she was used to was so unlike this.
Paradise was an open wonderland, grasses and foliage an emerald green; the waters a glinting sapphire blue. Beautiful, exquisite, perfect. But all the words surrounding were just as unique. However, each place she had visited had a tranquil vibe coming from it; this place not only gave off an antique emanation, but it a radiating danger seemed to seep up from the ground. Neveah merely sensed a taste of it, and was shouldering it away, but she always trusted her senses. When she looked up from observing a pair of leaves that had glided down from the treetops, what she saw was startling.
Why didn’t I sense her? Why didn’t I catch her scent? When Neveah’s moody eyes became darkened slits, she got a closer look. Oh. A mere dog. And she’s not alone, she noticed. The equine had just started to take her steps towards Neveah, as well as the caramel dog. Fingers released her white top, and swung at her sides as she slowly stepped forward. No fear. She had nothing to be afraid of. These creatures were what she had grown with. Horses were never around her and her clan, but they were close cousins.
Sister. Why do you travel with such a queer companion? No offense to you, mare. Young girl cocked her head, canine-fashion, and whimpered to Snowdrift. It had been awhile since she had seen one so familiar. But dogs were dogs, and her familiarity was with the Wolves.

Mistical voids shot at the two-legged femmoress. Drift's eyes grew from fire, to a suttle kindness. Somthing that wasn't seen as often as we'd like. She had a suprisinglygood feeling about this two-legged. But she'd keep her distance, for a while. Her banner gentle wagged behind her one,two,...three times until she swept her hind appendages under her tawny colored coat. Her banner wrapped neatly around her haunches. She watched with a keen sense, of hoping. Maybe Code would befriend this one. Code's strides were silent. Slowing dancing further to the human. Her smokey painted nares flared. With a tranquill dip on her dome. Her auds alerty stood fourth, listning the humans words/ I wish I could hear you. She sang, her vox echoed a lovely whinny. That wasn't to high, nor low for that part. Her banner raised, the elegent tassels apon her nape, were shaken. A sign of comfort. She tried to nudge the girl's shoulder, gently. The nudge wasn't going to be anything to rough. Code wouldn't let it be.

The creatures were docile. The mare seemed to relish in Neveah’s presence. Their own was unafraid and tempted, she could see. Neveah extended a delicate hand to the bella, noting her nuance of calls. Ruby eyes lit of no fear, but she was urprised at this place. She couldn’t help but feel that danger was going to leap out at any second.
Tendrils of red were stirred about her head and tickled her pinked cheeks. She continued to look at the dog before her, until she felt a nudge on her arm. She smiled, and stretched out her arm even more. "Hello there, cousin. You’re very beautiful. Are you both traveling alone? What queer acquaintances." The young woman kept looking between the two and could not distinguish why they were traveling together. Where was this dog’s home, and this mare’s herd? How strange, she murmured.
Tyrant
The over sized brute came plundering in with great force and frustration bordering his rims. Crimson eyes were down in thought until the vocals of both human and feral's entered his ears. An instant shock of anger washed over his features as his face contorted into a deadly glare. If these creatures were here, that meant his younger siblings were in trouble. Or at least this was the thought that flooded into his mind.
Coming up and around the hill he rounded about the group with deadly snarls that arose from his throat. He was large, two large. 180 lbs with a bulky body and stocky legs. He was made to kill but sometimes chose other wise. Humans had been killed by him before, he had no second thought of slaughtering the trio right here and now. Equines, were not trusted unless they were in their division, this dog was not apart of the Haunters either, or she would have been with the group at the Center.
Growling ravenously he hollored to the dog and equine. "State your business here or leave. And is this human with you?" He glared deadly with crimson orbs to the human. Fur at ends bristling like a cat trapped in a cage with a dozen dogs surrounding her.
Neveah
Neveah suddenly felt a bit safer with the equine and canine there. They brought on a tranquil luidity that she was not used to. Horses and dogs certainly were not her “cup of tea”, for she favored only her brethren, the Wolves, but since the dog a descendent and the horse a distant cousin, she decided that a whimsy for the day wouldn’t be so bad.
Once she was about to step down from the ruined steps and approach the dog, the hairs on her body, everywhere, raised on end. There was a familiar scent in the wind, and her eyes brightened to a rouged fuchsia. Her head snapped up, past the dog and horse, to where she knew something was coming. Something that comforted her with the knowledge of possible danger. Once she saw what stirred and rounded up to them from the corner, Neveah sighed and smiled, hiding her teeth. Locks of red were tossed up by a sudden wind and softly floated about her pale face.
She didn’t understand the Wolf’s offensive gestures, but she was sure he would calm himself. She was blood to them, to all of them, surely he knew this. She hadn’t expected a response from neither the horse or the yellow dog, but Neveah knelt down, still a safe distance from the Wolf, and made a quiet and soft noise, coming from her throat. "Brother, I knew you were here. Our kind are not restrained to one solemn place. We range over mountains, deserts, snow, and plains. Everywhere is our stead. Where is your pack now, brother?"
