Majik

The large colorful Appaloosa trailed into the ruins, eyes slightly widening in awe at the vast buildings. They reminded him of tales his mother used to tell him, and a shiver shot down his spine at the remembrance.
Hoping the two mares were still behind him, he slowed into a walk and then stopped as the sun became blotted out by the trees, and the shade cast over the ground, creating a dull gloomy effect. It gave him the creeps, to say the least, but even that may be a mouthful. His nares flared widely, taking in the scents. He could smell all kinds of animals, including many preditors, and some he had never even smelled before. This caused him a bit of worry and fear, but he held his true feelings back. His auds swiveled between facing behind him and being planed out to either side, quite alert and not daring to let his guard down. He could sense the presense of many, though none seemed too nearby.
He reached out to sniff at a mossy rock wall which stretched up next to him, searching it over with those dark eyes. This was a strange place. The strange caverns towered over him, giving him a weak, sickly feeling. His curiousity and interest were sparked though, and he couldn't help but give a harsh snort in delight. Not a word was given from him, for actions often spoke louder than words.

Czzariana

Dead silent stomps led her, close behind Majik. She had goosebumps. The place seemed a hint lifeless. Like the life was sucked out of it. Erie in mind, Czzarianna leapt forward, over a fun object. Some stairs britled into the ground. They mad fun jumps. Her banner flew out behind her in a flag-like fashion. Her brown voids shot aginst the sides, everywhere she looked. Stone, cobbled stone, bricks. Staircases. Doors. Fun! She wished to go in and out of the places. Maybe even try some of the tall stairs...But her pride kept her from lurching foreward to being the first. She didn't want to seem unusual. "This...This is cool." Cool like a winter night. Chilly, but not entirely nippy either.

Majik

Majik couldn't help but utter a sigh of relief, seeing the area they were at appeared deserted. You could never be too careful here, though. Such places could have danger lurking in every corner.
His dark eyes washed over the stone formations, wondering how such things could be created. Never before could he himself have imagined such things. No matter how creative he may be, these were beyond his mind, he was a bit sorrowful to say. So then, shutting all negative thoughts out of his mind, he trotted to a doorway, which was obviously open, and peered inside. Although a bit dark and damp, there was still light shining through the bare windows, giving just the right amount. Making sure it was all safe, he wandered inside, searching with eyes and nose. Not a thing went unsniffed by the time he was finished, and that's when he laid attention on the flight of cobbly steps off to the side. This was a pretty interesting place to live in, though not quite fitting for him. He preferred the open. "Cool, yes... Let's try these... Things..." he seemed to just whisper to himself, though his voice was just loud enough for her to hear. With a small mischevious grin, he casually stepped to the bottom step, and lifted a large fore hoof, placing it down easily on the stone. It hit with a light muffled click, and he sighed. "Looks dangerous, but I'm all for it," he stated then, looking back to her, as if for her own input. He knew it could be dangerous, but he wanted to see what was up there. Just the same thing probably, but a nice sight of the ruins would be helpful and interesting.

Czzarianna

Czzarianna followed, but not very close. She was all for people going before her. The darkness and the wet-like atmosphere in the 'dens' were kind of creepy. Her banner lifted, auds swiveling at every possible drip. Maybe it had rained? Maybe not. She felt wet for some reason. It was probably just the mold, and musty-ness of the place. Her nares flared, following after him a bit closer. Her mug raised, nares flaring wider. Gathering in some scents. Mold, a dust like scent, and eh...Creatures. "I'm afraid."

Majik

Although Majik was all for going up the stairs, he himself couldn't hold his thoughts in place. He could slip, trip, fall, and none of those were good, and none would end good either. He could get badly scraped up, or maybe even worse. However, he was feeling rather bold, and being the daring creature he often proved to be, felt it was a challenge to overcome. What young stallion wasn't like that? He may be mature, but he wasn't about to lose his daring touch.
"Oh, it's all safe, and no one's even out here anyway. The scents are faint, too." he replied to her, his voice pretty calm sounding despite the situation. He was feeling up and ready for anything. He was standing there taut, readying himself to start up the steps.

Czzariana

Auds twisted, with a sense of calmness. Now that he'd comforted her a bit. Her auds stood alertly atop her dome. She decided she was going to take a chance. 'nd not be scared! Ahah. She was to conquoer the world now. Her pace quicked slightly. Feeling about for the stairs. She leapt over three, maybe four steps. But not went up or down stairs. Actually climbing and using them. Her heart raced some. But it was out of fun, and a bit of pressure.

Majik

Majik's eyes lighted up as he noticed the mare headed to the stairs. He was wondering what these were, and pondered silently over whether or not it'de really be safe, but then he realized there was flat ground above, too.
Snorting harshly, he used his hind legs to shove off the ground, shooting up the steps and covering over three, and then giving another light hop, two, and then the last, getting over those with ease. At the top, he felt all refreshed and energized. His heart raced, and he could feel it lightly beat. Ah, it felt great.
"Well," he then began, turning around to search over the second floor with interest, "seems we've found ourselves another hidden place." Walking over to a bright window, which wasn't so covered by shade, he poked his head about halfway through the opening and looked out. At this, he was awed again, as his eyes washed over the temples and other rocky formations beyond. "This is an awesome view!" he stated, auds pricked as he continued to look over their portion of the ruins. He didn't see anyone else around, so that had to be good. A bit eerie and out of place perhaps, but cool and peaceful all the same.

Czzarianna

Czzarianna, her strides few. She tried to be as steady as possible. Managing her weight, shifting quite easily. Her back legs pushed with a rush of excitment, up the stairs. Until she reached the top. Going pretty fast...Her hhind hooves slipped out beneath her, making her almost in a streching dogs' position. But she gathered herself neatly. With a shake of her elgently arched nape, she trotted a few strides.
"Yes, indeed."
She said, peering through the window. Her coat flinched from a slight wetness in the air. Nares opened,closed,opened....Her lids closed over her voids. She thought for a while. In the calm serinity. But her thoughts ran miles. This was exciting!

Majik

Majik look at her and gave a small smile, before returning his gaze outside the window. The sunlight was still easing in between what few branches were before the opening, letting a decent amount of light through. His nares flared widely as he sighed, taking it all in, heart ceasing its rapid thudding. For a moment, everything felt calm. Peaceful, even. Maybe the ruins weren't as bad as some thought they'de be.
"You have anything in mind?" he then asked her, auds flickering. Something could come up those stairs just as easily as they had, so they still couldn't let their guard down. It still didn't seem like anyone was around. Then he wondered where Forgotten went. She had seemingly disappeared. He hadn't seen her anywhere around here, so maybe she hadn't even come by? Snorting, looking over the ruins once again, he began to turn back toward the stairs.

Fawn .+. Tavern

The roar of Wasteland had echoed through the ruins by this point. Booming and shaking in challenge and call. Shortly after the roar had subsided, two canines came rushing past. Tavern spotted them and snarled to Fawn "Find out what they want!" Fawns dug in her heels and skid to a hault as Tavern continued at top speed toward the largest of all the buildings, the temple.

Facing the two now, the dingo wolf hybrid growled in warning. "State your business here. Are you with the one who has just roared?!" She voice was frantic, the pack had been gone, leaving only healers and mothers to fend for themselves along with a few allies. Fawn was a healer who had been searching around when she found an odd group. But the roar had torn her from them for she knew her duty was to protect and be protect.

"Quickly, what is your reason for being here." Every second that passed was another second that traitor could have his claws and jaws around the lives of the innocent cubs and non-fighting mothers. She couldn't bear to let that happen, not this soon. She wouldn't fail them!

Majik

Majik came to an abrupt halt as some small canine happened to appear, and at this, he didn't take kindly to. Instead of what could have been fear or uncertainty, his eyes grew observingly dark and dangerous, brows furrowing. No little dog was going to bother them. "We're looking, and no, we don't know anyone here," he rumbled deeply in his throat, stomping a fore hoof. He was wary and alert, standing between the canine and Czzariana. Preditors couldn't, shouldn't, and wouldn't be trusted as far as Majik's figuring went.

Czzarianna

Czzarianna heards voices. Both faint and loud-getting louder. A hybrid canid. Eh,Czzarianna had gotten along with dogs. But they seemed to calm, except for puppie. But this one seemed to be speaking urgently, and most uncommly.
"We mean no harm...?"
She spoke, after Majik had spoken with the hybrid. She shook her pelt with a calmness. This seemed to be somewhat excting, as long as it didn't turn into anything, odd. Uncomfortable; or worse yet dangerous. The dog-hybrid-thing was proably just getting some questions anwsered. She sounded sort of, worried.

Majik

Snorting once Czzariana finished speaking, he swung his head harshly to shoot her a glance, before turning his attention back to the canine before them. Maybe this wasn't the greatest idea.
"Perhaps we should leave, then?" he stated, his words meant for Czzariana. They could leave when they wanted, unless this hybrid had a problem with it. Even then, Majik would stand up to the canid. "We can explore elsewhere," he then added, auds flickering and twisting this way and that, yet often returned to a laid back position upon his dial. He looked to the mare for her reasoning then, as if it was her decision on what they did, where they went. He knew the lands only as much as she did, so it wouldn't matter much anyway. A canine being there was the equivalent to negativity, which meant problems, in Majik's mind.

Czzarianna

Honestly she'd feel better if they left. Two reasons, one this hybrid seemed teritorial. Maybe she was wrong. Rather safe than sorry. Another - they had an excuse to explore more. Her dome raised, voids widened. You could see a bit of white. Her voids narrowd, giving him a nodof approval, her eyes danced over the hybrid.
"Gooday."
Was all that was spoken. She turned on her hocks almost, excitedly. Besides, it wa spossible they'd come back. Her lifted her for appendages, working her way down the stairs. Wich stil lseemd slick to her smooth-bottomed hooves. The clip, clop, clop, clip, clop was soothing. Just to hear somthing familiar.

Majik

Majik gave her a returning nod, and went to follow after her. One aud free and swiveling, the other was focused in on the hybrid, the entire way down the steps, and even after that. He didn't like this place when some canine was in with them, or any preditor, of course.
"Where now?" he then asked, standing at the entrance and staring outside. He was deep in thought then, and suddenly a new place came to mind. "How about the canyon? I heard there was one somewhere," he stated, not quite sure where it was, but knowing he could find it.

Fawn

The hybrid shook and nodded her head, hoping they weren't lieing, but she had no time to judge if they were or not. She would have to trust their word and quickly bolted after Tavern toward the temple. Hackles noticably raising as she neared what would be, possible, her first fight.

Czzarianna

"Good question."
Czzarie whinnied, picking up her appendages quickly, and smoothly. Hopingto makeit out of there as soon as she could make it.
