Elemental
She was one of those types that you heard of but never saw. She had revceived word that her sister, Hidden Betrayal, had been killed. For almost her entire life she had wondered about her black sister, but had never spoken of that tragic day with her pack. A little birdie had spoken of Betrayals death, and seeking answers the female had found herself here. Her name is elemental, and she wasn't about to give up when she had just found what she had been seeking for nearly her entire life. Fur as white as frost, eyes as blue and cold as sapphire, she looked nothing like her sister except in body style. They were both slim, with a wiry build and lithe as a snake. She was a formidable oppenent, and a worthy alley. Dangerous and furious, she was not one you wanted to mess with. The way of the wolves here, was much more different then the way of the wolves in her home land. There, they had found peace unlike here. Blue eyes drifted, taking in her surroundings. The ruins. Lost to humans, ruled by wolves.
How....Interesting.....Silently she slipped through the ruins, her long white fur protecting her from the biting wind that was becoming firecer by the moment. Her breath came in quick short gasps as she made her way, white auds pinned to her skull. She made her way into a rock building the walls were crumbling on the outside but as she stepped in, the wind and bitter cold were taken away. With a sigh of relief the female shook out her coat, sending snow in all directions. She inhaled and thats when it hit her. The scent of Betrayal. She blinked and began to follow it, trying to pinpoint where the scent was coming from. The female paused at a door, steps leading down down down.....Uncertainty flickered in her eyes and she cast a glance over her shoulder before continuin down the dark passage. She crept with slight hesitation, her claws clicking on the stone floor. When she reaced the bottom, she had to fight back tears. In the corner was a rough bed made out of leaves. It was nice to see that the habit had never left her dark sister. In the center of the floor was the bone of a whale, an orca for that matter. A look of confusion flashed across her face, but she wasn't about to judge. No one had ever been in Betrayal's lair. No one. Days of travel were evident on the females face and she gave a wide yawn. Should someone come, she couldn't really stop them from killing her. She had the perfect disguise, the perfect lie. She was a loner, with no past, no present and sure as hell no future. She had no family, no friends, no home. She was a nobody looking for a home with an anybody. Silently, the same silence that her sister had possessed, she made her way to the the leaf bed. Circling around and around, she finally lay down. She held her eyes open as long as she could but then her eyes drifted closed and she began to drift and as she did so she began to dream.
They weren't very old, maybe two months at the most. They raced as fast as they could until they reached the stream. They could hear the enraged snarls, mothers screaming for the children to run. There was only the three of them. Hidden Betrayal, Elemental, and Vision. Elemental and Vision were huddling together in fear as Betrayal, dark and brooding as ever, paced in uncertainty. When she spoke, her voice was like liquid silver, smooth and cold "Elemental, take Vision and run. Find Echo and her pack. They'll keep you safe." The dark female turned and was about to walk away when Vision spoke "What about you?" Betrayal froze and turned to look at her two cowering sisters. "Whatever happens, don't turn back. Now go!" Elemental looked at her sister with tear filled eyes. "Betrayal....Will you still love us" She asked. Grief flickered in the black pups eyes. "I'll always love you." Tears welled up in Elementals eyes. She gave Vision a gentle shove and the two began to slip into the brush. Elemental turned towards Betrayal again and what seh saw was forever imprinted on her mind. A wolfess, white as snow with a grey streak on her forehead, stood silently before the silently defiant Betrayal. The other looked as if she had taken a blood bath, and her bright yellow eyes were glowing with demonic pleasure, a pleasure that only a true killer could feel. When she spoke it was like dark honey, rich and smooth with a hint of something deadly. "Come with me, child. Your future awaits" Elemental wanted to help her black sister, but something about the white female terrified her. Suddenly, the red and white female lunged forward. Her jaws latched onto Betrayal. The white wolfess turned those bright yellow eyes to Elemental. Around the scruff of the snarling Betrayal, she smiled. Bone chilling, a promise they would meet again. "Aaka! We've got to go!" With a scowl, the female turned and began to race towards where the voice had come. "Don't worry, sister. I will find you and together we will live happily just like mom always said we would."
Elemtal jolted awake suddenly. Her eyes were tear filled and she bit back a sob. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." She lay her head back down and began to get into her new self. The tears were gone, her eyes flat and seemingly soulless. An excellent actress, she knew she could pull this off. If she could best her own pack, she could best this one.
Ireshk
It had been over half a year since his mother's death, and already the young adult had been shunned away by her killer. After all, Nachi had already pushed aside the whelps she stole from Crucified's pack, and was content with the newest youngster to satisfy her strange cravings. Ireshk was far from being a puppy, and so he was of absolutely no interest to his dear 'mother'. The pack itself hardly noticed him, though it was mainly because of his shy, reclusive ways. He had no family left... none that he knew of anyway. His granparents were still living, an aunt and uncle... but they may as well be dead, for Ireshk had no idea of thier existence. For all he knew, the 'monster' at the lake had killed them, just as it had killed his true mother.
The leggy brute was wandering aimlessly around the outskirts of the main area, his face solemn while his eyes always flashed with a certain apprehension. To him, just as Nachi had wanted, the world felt like a cruel, uncertain place. Nothing could be predicted, and nothing trusted. While lost in his own troubled thoughts, Ireshk happened into the Temple where Elemental had ventured into.
As soon as her scent came to him, Ireshk froze. He did not socialize with anyone, but he knew who every one in the pack was, what their scent was like, who they were related to, and what their position was within the hierarchy. This scent was one of a stranger. She did not belong here. Ireshk was deadly silent for a moment, his nose quivering as his tall ears strained in the darkness to hear her breathing. Finally, the lean wolf gave a short, soft woof to wake her up.
Silver Trace
She was heading back up to the Temple that night to see what the new orders where. Thick silver winter fur gently swaying with her movements as her dainty padded feet pierced into the four inch snow. It was cold out, and with the cold came more scents, a clearer view, and silence when the zephyr had quit its blow.
Eyes beheld the quiet Ireshk, the one who had 'saved' her from those dangerous wolves. She gave a wag of her tail as she saw him, but soon stopped when she noticed he had found something. Lithe movements drawing her forth into a simple bouncing trot toward the temple the two wolves had entered.
Her nose quivered as the darkness of the temple walls engulfed her with their cover. She smelled not only the now grown Ireshk, but also the intruding Elemental. Quickly silver fibers stood along her back and she hesitated forward. Entering only at the moment he had given the woof. She waited for the reply of the fea though she never said a word. Her breathing now slowed to shelter itself from the other's ears. Glancing at Ireshk, then back in the direction she expected Elemental would be.
Elemental
As a woof she raised her head wearily. A soft growl escaped her black lips and she said softly If your going to kill, do it now. I'm not in the mood to play petty games. Her voice was much unlike Betrayals, a soft whisper of gentleness, but around it a hint of pain that would never go away. She lay her head back down, resting it on paws of white. Her sapphire blue eyes were hard on the two of them, glaring into first Ireshk then Silver Trace. She wasn't kidding, she really wasn't in the mood to deal with them. Only their leader, Risen. She smelled nothing like Betrayal, only looked like her in body style but who didn't? Her eyes and face bore no emotion as she watched the two as if uninterested but those eyes never let them go....Never released them from her deadly hold.
Silver Trace
Her own soft words came through trembling growls. Whispering in a hiss "I you were caught by our alpha your mercy would be much less. If you do not give us a reason for your being here leave or we will be forced to destroy you." blue optics flashed as she stepped forward. She knew Ireshk was in higher authority, but she was well off defeating the fea if need be.
Elemental
Her eyes blazed, and in a dark voice she said I'm here in search of your alpha. I was intending to join the pack, but since you so wish to see me leave, I will do so. She stood and began to walk towards them, her eyes cold, lifeless, yet there seemed to be an aura of fire that surrounded her, one that would surround and destory them if they ventured to close. Or, you can take me to her, and have yet another on your side.
Silver Trace
The she wolf growled darkly as she heard the wolfess speak. "She is in a meeting you will have to wait until they dismiss." She glared darkly but said nothing more. Turning she led her to the front of the Temple but no further.
