Fiona

After recieving directions from a burly white tomcat, Fiona made her way to the Ruins. This is definitely it alright... The black & cream mottled tabby thought, her large eyes looking over the looming structures in awe. They were certainly humanish in their blocky, striaght-edged build, and yet... they seemed almost natural here. Ah, but she was getting sidetracked now.

Keeping to narrow spaces to offer herself protection if needed, Fiona made her way up a slanted pillar, it's angle so steep that even she had a hard time reaching the top. But once she was there, she crouched down and surveyed the land around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the harris hawk that she had been told of. She also kept her mustard-greenish eyes alit for any dangers; the scent of a wolf pack permeated this land.

Disaster

The Harris Hawk stood perched on a tree limb, his gaze surveying the land. His keen eyes landed on the cat and a screech of warning was given before the large Hawk swooped down. She obviously wasn't leaving, so why not give her a reason to? Talons unsheathed, he went for Fiona aiming to nic her with his talons and scare her. He was hungry, but he wouldn't eat until the hunt with the pack. Dally was getting instructions as they spoke, so he had nothing better to do anyways.

Fiona

The screech was warning enough for her, and she took a flying leap to evade the dangerous talons. By Ying's descriptions, she had only assumed that this would be a tricky business trying to get help, and she continued to question just why she was putting up with all of this for some rangy canines. But, in the end, it might all come back to help her someday.

Landing heavily on a lower stone, Fiona arched her back and flattened her ears. Small but sharp canines were bared as she hissed at the bird, "Disaster, is that your name? Ying has asked for your assistance!" She spit it all out quickly, hoping to stop him before he might try to attack her again. She could not afford to tangle claw and talon with this bird.

Disaster

He landed on the stone wall and hissed at her but when he heard of Ying, he paused briefly, tilting his head to the side. "What about Ying?" He hissed at her. He was hungry, and damn that cat sure looked like a tasty meal. Ying, however, was a worthy foe and the bird had made an alliance of sorts with him when the wolf had caught him off guard and tried to eat him, so now Disaster was stuck helping the stupid mutt. What had he gotten himself into now? He could only guess with wolves, he hadn't really met any here except Betrayal and he had spoken briefly with Risen. The hawk glared at the cat, awaiting her response.

Fiona

Her ears came up just a stitch, but the tabby was still on alert. Normally, birds were afraid of her, not the other way around. But then again, most birds were smaller than her, or at least not so heavy armed as this raptor. "He's been captured by humans." Fiona reported, taking a quick glance around to be sure no one else was a threat to her, "I am trying to locate his allies and plan a rescue mission for him and two other canines at the Labs. I was told you are a friend of his?"

Disaster

"Friend? Ha. I am not his friend, I am stuck as his alley. But fine, give me this plan of yours and I will see what I can do" He saw the wolves heading out for the hunt and bit back a screech of rage. He was needed on this hunt, so this would have to be quick. He had things he had to do. The harris hawk still eyed Fiona as if she were about to be his next meal, a slight threat the cat.

Fiona

Oh, this is going just great... he neglected to tell me this bit of information. She thought with exasperation to herself when Disaster revealed himself to be no friend of Ying's. Well, at least he was offering to help anyways. That was a start. "You have keener eyes than us felines and canines. You can see detail from both close up and at a distance, where we only see a blur. I need you to watch how they open the kennels. I'll explain more of the plan when we're there, but for now... meet me at the Lab. I need to recruite some others. " She turned, about to leap from the block when another thought hit her, "If you have any friends... or, at least anyone who doesn't like humans... have them meet at the Lab as well. This will be a moment those humans won't be forgetting all too soon." Then she sprung, her dark frame falling in pure grace before landing on the ground a short ways below. And now it was off to the Marsh. Oh fun, a bunch of water...
