Risen

With a venomous growl the alphess thundered into the lands. Her eyes darting around for a lower pack memeber, or maybe Betrayal would like to take ahold of the new shadow lands. However that would make her less than Risen, the little gray alphess knew this wouldn't fly with her 'friend'. But she needed to be put in place sometimes, her mind began to toss about some ideas of making Betrayal just one under her then whispered out loud. "Not this soon" she said hoarsly to herself then called up again for members of her pack. "Everyone Listen! We have now a Shadow Land. The Shadow Lands are off branches of the Shadow Haunters, every creature who belongs to a Shadow pack is still a Shadow Haunter. They are sub packs, and we need Two Sub leaders for our newest pack land!" She looked around to her mighty pack. "Who wishes to maintain this land? You act just like alpha's, you maintain the pack as if it were your own, but you are just the child pack to this one. When you return to your appointed rank. Obviously your pack members will be lower than you but they could be higher than others in this main branch. Now... Any Takers?" She hissed her last words as she spoke to the pack members. Her wicked smile strong on her features. Knowing the pack was still growing.

Vulcan

The male saw a grey streak fly by him and slowly he stood. The coyowolf came forth quietly and in a smooth tone he said "I'll do it." His eyes were hard and cold but he didn't stare straight into Risens eyes. He knew the ways of the wolf and the coyote, both a curse and a blessing. He had led a pack before, so that was nothing new to him. Darkness seemed to surround the male that had come with Selah, but there was something off about him. Kindness. Although both his tone and eyes were hard, something about him seemed kind and soft.

Kali

Her petite paws gluided over the earth smoothly. Her muscules tightened to hear Risen's voice thunder over the vast lands. Her ears gave a slight flicker as she aproached valiantly. Her burning bright amber eyes glowing intensly and staring into hers. She glanced her shoulder at the male she had spotted earlier. A low rumbled began deep in the back of her throat with such hatred and anguish. Kali dragged her benevolent stare back to Risen listening to what the alpha had to say. She scuffed heavily as her words ended, her head held so high lowered to show some sort of bitter respect to the bitch. Kali wasn't that pathetic after all. A devious smile appeared upon her narrow jaws for an instant only to fade moments later. Dark thoughts surpressed her mind for she was no longer wandering and so deprived, or was she?

"I suppose I wouldn't mind taking one of these spots or tasks," she said calmly in a dark and shallow tone. Her eyes staring dead at her and her tail giving off a slight flicker, swaying from side to side. Her thin black coat gleaming in the sunlight beating down upon her giving her coat a golden tent to match her amber, goldish eyes so bright and unfeeling. Everything seemed to cease as her words peirced through the thin air following the male's quick three words. She looked away from Risen her head gave a slight dipp to show more respect, but of course that's all Kali would give and only to those who desurve it. Risen was certainly worthy of it for leading a glorious pack such as this, and she had heard so much of it. Her eyes peeked back up waiting for a responce, while her devious smile gradually returned.

Turn your thoughts away from the cold unfeeling light,
And listen to the music of the night.

Risen

The brisk breeze brought the leaves to a rattle, but it wasn't just the breeze. Soon Vulcan was confronting her for her message and she gave a darkly look. Nodding to his comentment then turning as Kali approached. Risen's own, deathly yellow orbs stared back as the fea decided to stare her eye to eye. Finally when all was said and done, Risen nodded to the two. "Great, you can bicker among yourselves who is higher in command, but for now listen closely." She gave a sharp call in the air for one in particular then again spoke to the others. " Remember this is only a Sub pack. You are the leads to the sub pack, but when all the packs get back together you must find your place. Your pack in a gathering will be all below your stats, though don't expect another side pack to respect you as your own does. Betrayal is met with a fate far worse than death. Your pack is expected to know who their superiors are. If either I, Betrayal, or another member who is higher in rank than either of you. They are to know to respect them or be punished. Punishment will never be light to traitors. If the Main pack see's a pup from the sub packs litter suitable for higher ranking, the pup will be taken and trained most intensly." Her eyes began to narrow, growing darker until no light reflected from her soul. "Any couple who wishes to mate must see me and Betrayal. If any are to breed without our concent, there will be a public slaughter. By the parents. If the parents refuse to kill the pups the leads will distroy the pests. The parents will be put into the basement of the corpses with no food nor water, until the pups are eaten." Her features turned into dark humor. "You make sure they know this. It goes with the rest of the pack as well." A sudden shadow passed the group as a black and white bird fluttered and landed onto Risen's back, Ino's beety eyes stared at the two then fluffed her feathers as if to look bigger. Risen nodded to the bird and continued to the two. "This is Ino, Our messanger bird, She is strickly used to send and retrieve messages across long distances. The reason I introduce you: there is to be a population count regularly, including unexpected visits by both alpha's." She bowed her head. "The pack is also to come at any beconed call. It will participate in our activities no matter what. Is this understood?" She snarled softly.

Hidden Betrayal

Dark huntress stood atop a wall and listened intently to what was being said. Leaping down she landed next to Risen and stared hard into Kali's eyes. "I expect great things from you, mon ami. Make sure I'm not disappointed." With that the black huntress moved away, heading to a low over hang. Unlike Risen, she had taken this for her quiet place, somewhere closed in. Somewhere where she could see. Suddenly there was a loud screech from above and a large Harris Hawk landed next to Risen, his keen eyes trained on both Vulcan and Kali. He to was a messenger, but he was Betrayals. Bright eyes turned to Risen and he let out another screech before taking to the sky once more and landing on Betrayals overhang, watching the others from a distance. They weren't to far off, maybe ten yards at most. But it was still enough to get a message across. Fail and suffer the consequences

Kali

Wandering in Darkness,
Tasting the light,
Too much of both,
Now I don't know what's right

Kali listened with her ears giving a slight flicker. She had a rather bitter expression upon her face. She wasn't so sure how interested in this she was, but she was bored, and perhaps this could intertain her and draw her mind away from the pain that she constantly drownded in. To make herself worth something, when she knew she was nothing more then trash according to others. Yet Kali, wasn't one to under estimate.

She looked up to the sky and to the hawk. Her eyes widened as she licked her lips with a slight pleasure taking over. He just looked like dinner to her, but she didn't try to kill him. Any friend of Hidden's was someone she could at lest respect. She gave them a nodd turning to Hidden. Her face so pale and drained of life, forcing a slight smile to assure Hidden that Kali would actually do something worth while, rather then just killing, even though she still thrived for it, to fill such emptyness.
