Cavan
Things had not gone down well at the Stores, where he was suppose to meet up with his sister to hand over Ireshk. He and the adolescent had been ambushed, and now Cavan had no clue where the other had gone too. He himself was lucky to have gotten out of there alive, for Rapture had very nearly struck a vital bloodway. As it was, his neck was still throbbing with pain and blood oozed slowly from the deep lacerations. But he was alive, thanks in part to his heroine. And that's the reason he was here now; to see Hidden Betrayal.
He had been loosely allianced with Legosa and the Emperial Diadem pack, though he paid no special homage to the foul-tempered brute of the Silver Glades. In fact, it had not been his idea to buddy up with the Lurker ally and his equally infamous mate Aaka. They had done nothing special for him, and in fact, Aaka had threatened his dear sister; a problem which he quickly allayed. As for the Diadem pack, they were going to cut ties with the Lurkers soon enough, for the rebellious Ankh, who was spawned from the Shadow Lurkers themselves, was planning on a treacherous move against his only surviving brother. Although distinguishing themselves from the Lurkers, they were not in a hurry to alliance with anyone else.
A second reason for Cavan's current situation. Leaving the Emperial Diadem pack with no ill will towards them, and none to him in return, he sought out the protection of the newly-assembled Shadow Haunters. Word had it that this up and coming pack had taken the first blow against the Lurkers and thereby asserted themselves as a new and promising power in the Valley. One more sinister than the Alley-dwelling pack. It was this kind of attitude that Cavan was seeking to join up with, not only to suite his own personality and needs, but also as a fallback in case his sister got into trouble; which she was prone to doing.
So here he was, ragged, bleeding and scarred ear-to nose with past fights to show his own courage and bravado as far as combat and revenge went. Using his good eye, he scanned the area as he entered slowly, looking for any signs of the inhabiting pack.
The World is Yours…
Ino
A small bird came fluttering into the mainlands. Grumbling under her breath as she took a low branch. She saw Cavan from the sky and saw some fatal wounds. He obviously wasn't here to pick a fight, or he'd lose quickly.
Opening her soft beck the plover chirped out "If you are looking for the leads, Risen is at the temple." She hissed and jumped up and around to scan more of the land.
Hidden Betrayal
"There is no need for him to travel to the temples." The other alphess, Hidden Betrayal, glared down at the two, her bright yellow eyes boring into Cavans own. She was high above on a ledge after traveling from the stores. The attack from Kage and her offspring was of no surprise to her. Nor was it that two others were here. She leaped down and with a soft thump she landed on her feet like a cat as she stalked closer to Cavan. "Why are you here?" Her voice was a soft hiss as she glared daggers at him. She had saved his ass more then once. He knew it to. She did not know why she felt the obligation to do so. Maybe it was because his son Tupit had been her only friend. Maybe.
Cavan
His pale gray eye narrowed at Ino, while the silver-blue orb just stared bleakly ahead. He was about to speak to the messanger bird when the black fae appeared. "I want to join this pack." Cavan replied simply, standing still while his good eye now directed itself to Betrayal. "Word is, that this pack is to rival the Lurkers and their allies. I'd like to be a part of that." His second big reason for joining, aside from the fact that Hidden Betrayal was here, was for his sister. Cavan only knew it'd be a matter of time before she tried stealing a pup again, and it'd probably end up getting her in trouble with the wrong crowd. He needed a strong, ruthless pack to help him protect his crazy, pup-snatching Nachi. But this information, of course, he did not reveal to anyone. Not yet, at least.
Ino
Black featery head tilted along a beige body as she stared to the alphess. She bobbed her head and squawked, " Lady Betrayal, Lady Risen is rallying up the pack. We are to go on our first mission soon. Please assemble at the temple" She hissed and threw out her wings, taking back to go to the Temple of the Haunted.
Indeed Risen was planning on attacking... The land just south of Crucifieds pack.
