Venus
Muscles limbs took the snow-bitten bitch into the pit basements and toward the rink. Her strength bulged from beneath her matted locks. Yes, locks. Her fur was not fur, but more of a type of wool. This and heavy around her body, all except for her face and eyes, which were shaven free of hair by her owners. Revealing scars from her years as a pit fighter. She gave off soft snarls, unlike what her breed was known for, she was bred to be vicious and a fighter. Of course she was no ordinary fighter: She used her fur as a shield, a defense, and her jaws as her weapon. She was what some would consider a tactic fighting dog; one that didn't use brute strength.
The door opened to the pen, and the white komondor female entered, sniffed around the arena, and then looked up and growled dangerously to the crowd. Hate smiled darkly then gave off a snicker. "Ah. This is a fancy little bitch here, I raise my bets to $2000 for her. Stakes are high; Any takers?" He smiled, his hand clenching the gate before closing his end. His dark colored eyes sifting through the room for any uneasy gestures: hoping to point someone out and win himself some good money.
Collecting her feet, Venus looked around the room. Her eyes clear of fur, she peered around with an angry gaze, she didn't want to be here, and she didn't want to fight, but she knew she had to. "Oh Cerberus, why have you cursed me so?" She cried to herself before looking to her owner, trying to figure out if there would really be a fight.
Calling out, Hate spoke of the rules. "This match is not to the death, there will be penalty for any death caused. The fight will be until submission or unconsciousness, there are to be no distractions other than simply cheering on a dog. Any other distractions will be met with my fist into that person's or peoples face. Got it?" He smirked, now waiting for a challenger.
*Man* & Stray
The man dragged his wolf forward, smiling at the wolf. "You got me and my wolf." The man spook clearly, holding the dog's collar securely. "I gotta bitch, so this'll be a distaff, correct?"
Stray thrashed, fangs lurched for the human's flesh. "Let go human!" She howled, her paws scrapping against the ground as she lunged for the human's foot, but got a mouth of leather. "Dammit." Stray sniffed the air, looking around with wide eyes. Where was the endless forest? The endless freedom? Had it all been shattered by this human? Stray howled, thrashing around again, trying to pull out of the human's grip. A fight? Stray had fought before. Bears, moose, deer, raccoons, and even other wolves...also those pesky human dogs. I will win. I will earn my freedom back! Stray thought darkly, the fae bracing her paws into the concrete.
"Think its a fair fight?" The man questioned.
Hate .+. Venus
Hate looked at the wolf and then to his dog. "A distaff is correct. Venus is a Komondor bitch." He watched the wolf thrash against her leash and smiled. "I'm not sure about fair for the dogs. Mine has a line of defense, but I have never fought her so I know very little about her offense."
Venus looked at the thrashing wolf. "Noob" She smiled, though still said somewhat kindly - as kindly as a pit dog could say.
Hate spoke again. "The bet is Three grand, no less. Understand? Winner takes all. Including the losing dog." His eye brows perked for a moment. Feeling that confident in his fighter.
*Man* & Stray
"Yes." The man said curtly. He put Stray into the pit, holding onto her leash, and then letting her go. "Get me some moolah, Stray."
Stray snarled. "You don't know fighting quit yet, dear." Stray snapped, slowly walking around the walls of the pit, waiting for the precise moment to fight.
Venus .+. Hate
Hate glared with a heated expression as Venus stood still, her eyes never leaving Stray's. With a smile the man nodded and with a vicious snarl; Venus exploded from her corner and lunged for Strays neck. Her woolly fur bouncing along her muscled limbs. The only unprotected area on her: Her face, buzzed free of hair so that she could see and aim more accurately.
Man & Stray
Stray turned, Venus slamming into her shoulder. Stray lunged for Venus's face, hopping to catch that uncovered flesh to a advantage. "You need humans to tell you what to do?" Stray taunted.
