Miststream
Miststream knew eactly where she was.She been her before in her life and she hated it.Silently she was put in the pit.She wasn't mean only nice and sweet. Her small body stood up and waited for the other dog to enter shed do her best to just dodge attacks.Even though she was small she was three years and full grown for a jack russel.
Murder
A well built Doberman was the next to enter the pit. Her long arrowed face lowered and then contorted into a vicious snarl. There was no room for words as her short hair soon bristled upon her back. She had been at the pits for a while now, she had kept her life thus long, and long enough to produce a batch of fighter pups. There was a small off season for her, but now she returned. A bit rusty? Maybe, but she wouldn't let it stand in her way.
As all exits were securely closed, Murder took off at a start and aimed her jaws at Miststreams head. Trying to cause damage to blind the opponent before she went anywhere else.
Miststream
Mistream doged to the side when the opponet attacked so that only her fanges scorched her shoulders and hit her felsh a bit.Growling, but not attacking back she jumped back waiting for her opponets next attack.
Murder .+. Hate
Growling at his new fighting beast, Hate clenched a piece of paper in his hand, then spat to the side. "C'mon mutt" He snarled.
Murder's eyes glanced up at the new owner. Being exactly that, he was new to her. Either way, she was still in the pit. She had to do her job.
Pausing for a moment, she watched her opponent. There was no movement so she took another go. Jaws agape and aiming for the other's face again. This time, at the last second, she dodged to the side and bit savagely at Miststream's fore paw. Trying to snap it in her jaws.
Miststream
Miststream doged epecting her opponet to go for her face again. She felt teeth connect with her paw.Jerking her paw out of her opponets mouth.Silently she slithered around her opponet and grabed at her opponets tail trying to get a hold to bite down hard enough.
Murder
She made sure to give a hefty bite to Miststreams paw before the other could pull it away. Hoping to fracture a few limbs and get the female limping on it. As she felt the female go for her back end, she could only lauch and easily dodge. "honey, my tail has been docked for four years. Don't even try it." She barked and then lunged at the females side. Trying to bite into her unprotected stomach.
Miststream
Miststream leaped up just in time. Can't blame me for trying she snarled back at her opponet.Silently and like a snake she striked out at her opponets muzzle as soon as she was done speaking.
Murder
She growled as the dog dodged her, then opened her jaws as she came at her and countered Mist's muzzle attack with her own. Slashing violently to cause a few teeth to bleed and sore.
Miststream&Andy
Miststream backed away after she got a few bites in.but her opponet had gotten her too.Silently she curved her body and bared her fangs in a posture of threat and warning. Come on and beat her already Miststream shouted her owner Andy.
Murder
Hate glanced over to Andy and snarled a bit under his breath before turning back to Murder. His voice wasn't a shout but a low a deadly growl. "You had better not fail me dog; in our fighting kennel: it's three strikes and your out."
As low as his words were, Murder was able to hear them. Her yellow eyes shivered in their caverns as her enemy curved up and over. "Don't think I'll go easy on you pup." Snarled the doberman as she lunged forward and snapped at the femmes face, but diverted to her shoulder, and then aimed for a hold on her front leg. It was a tactic she had devised, and if she could get hold of the leg, she would not let go.
Miststream
Miststreasm had had enough. When her opponet attacked she jumped out of the way barley missing the attack for her leg.You ready for this she snarled at her opponet. She planed to use her favorite attack that almost always worked.Quick and silent as a snake she strucked out for Murders neck and then swung to the side going for the shoulder to slow her opponet down.
Murder
Vicious teeth veered from under her velvet lips. Fiery yellow eyes burning, her breaths came out hot, and mist arose from her heated hide. What was once thin fur now bristled like a pen cushion upon her back. I am always ready, her snarles grew louder than the crowed. It is you who should be ready: With that she backed away, watching the other come at her, but the strike was able to nip at her now lowered face. Grr. Her eyes flicked to Mist, You'll pay for that: and she lunged at the others face, trying to blind the other.
Miststream&Andy
She moved to the side so that Murder barly gazed her shoulder.Like a snake she stroked out at her opponets neck while she was whipping by to get a death hold.Andy clapped his hands when Miststream doged the attack.Silently like hawk eyes he watched as Miststream made a move at Murder.
Murder
She snarled as she got the shoulder of the little dog, then ran after her to grab at her back. As the little dog whipped by, she lifted her head high and popped her feet off the ground, making sure her neck was well out of the way for a hold. Then landed and continued to chase the little dog, trying to grab at her back and pick her off the ground. Proceeding this would be a violent thrash to snap the dogs back.
Miststream
"Don't try it she growled at Murder. She used her size to her advantage and turned around and ran under the Doberman.Lifting her head up to try and rip her opponets stomack open with her sharp teeth.
Murder
She growled as the little one got under her, then felt the fangs. Her snarl boomed and her hind foot and un-groomed claws struck out at the offenders face, hoping to injure an optic or tear at, or in, an ear.
William, Thrawl, & Neva
"Alright, time is up!" William declared, moving towards the ring. "Handlers, seperate your fighters!" Being a long-time fighter in the area, it was generally up to him to break up ties and declare the winner; it was, after all, his basement that the fights took place in. "Miststream has definite potential, but I have to give this one to Murder" William looked to Andy now, "You might want to try fighting her against a similar sized opponent next time."
Thrawl and Neva, two of William's pit bulls, watched the fight from their cages along the side of the far wall.
Miststream
Miststream felt her opponets claw scratch her ear.A drop of blood came out,but before Murder could do any more damage to her ear Miststream jerked her head back. Then with her teeth aiming to get a good hip she jumped up to the Dobermans head and struck at her face.If she got a hold of anything she fling her head back taking it with her.
Miststream and Andy
Andy came and got Miststream and was a bit proud since this was her second fight and had given the doberman a few good bites.Getting in his car they left the pit,but would come back tommow.
Murder
The Doberman didn't understand the judge and went for another attack but was stopped at the loud words of Hate "Murder, Down!" The black fem stopped in her tracks and turned her head toward Hate. Then looked back to the other dog as she went for her face, Lifting her head up she backed away and moved toward the opened gate where Hate stood. Her eyes looked up to the owner of the basement and she gave a soft snort before Hate clipped both a muzzle and the leash onto her.
Hate looked at the man, "Where do I get the prize money?" Hate played for money, it's how he lived.
William, Thrawl, & Neva
"Right here." William replied, setting down a small metal container he had been holding. Aside from the two handlers, the rest of the crowd had to pay an entrance fee to be in his home and watch the fight. And given that Murder was a more well-known fighter in the area, the fee was higher. "$1300 for you tonight, not bad." William said after dividing out part of the collection for himself, and handing the rest to Hate.
Murder .+. Hate
Hate nodded the the man with a sly and deadly smirk upon his lips. "Thank you, sir." He said before tugging the leather leash of the Doberman. "C'yon" He spoke to the dog, turning and walking up the stairs before turning to the pit that the dog had just faught in. "I will be back in a bit." He whispered to himself before opening the door and packing away Murder to return home and retrieve a few more fighters.
