Zaar

The wolf trotted around, angry and discouraged. She had walked in here before it had opened, and now was trapped inside. She let out a howl of dismay, and backed into a corner, afraid.

*Dog*

From the porch of the house, a thick-bodied dog laid quietly. His head and muzzle were broad, and his coat was short and a mixture of brown and black. Multiple scars lined his head, legs, and sides.

Hearing the howl, the dog stood up and spotted Zaar in the corner of the yard. With a grin, he padded off the porch and approached her, "It looks like you've ended up in the wrong place."

Zaar

The hunteress snaped up to guard position. Her blue orbs took in the dog. She took a step back, and showed her teeth. "What is it to y-you?" Her voice cracked. She couldn't help it, she was scared out of ther mind.

*Dog*

The dog smirked a bit, seeing her fear. "What is it to me?", he asked mockingly, "Well, I haven't had a good fight for over a day now." the muscular dog lowered his broad head, begining to rumble slightly.

Zaar

She realized what this meant, and got into battle position. Maybe all that tussling with her cub-mates would come in handy now. Excitement washed her fear away, and she began to growl, deep in her throat.

black fyre

*black form suddenlly lept onto the porch on the dog. her tail in alpha position. many scars show her importence.she shakes his his neck visoisly.*

Zaar

"Hey!" The hunteress yips. "Thanks you for your help, but this is my battle!" She trots up to Black Fyre. "Thanks, but no thanks." She looks at the dog. "Shall we begin?"

*Dog*

The dog bucked back and threw Black Fyre off him. Like many of the dogs here, his neck was very thick, and hard to bite through.

Snarling bitterly, the dog glared at Black Fyre, "You want a fight? Go around the front of house and you should find a worthy opponent." Still snarling, he turned his cold gaze back to Zaar, "Yes, let's begin." the thick-bodied dog charged forward, trying first to snap his heavy jaws at Zaar's front legs.

Zaar

The wolf jumped in the air, missing the dog's teeth. She turned, and landed on his back. She knew that his neck was to thick to bite through, so instead aimed for his ears and eyes, sharp teeth tearing.

*Guard Dog*

The dog dipped his head down so that her teeth missed his eyes, but tore his ears. Sent into a fury, the dog twisted his head back suddenly, as far as he could reach, and tried to catch on of the wolf's paws in his jaws and fling her to the ground.

Zaar

She let herself slip, and rolled underneath the dog. As quick as lightning, she grabbed a hunk of the dog's flesh and tore, then rolled out to the other side. She bit again at his eyes, then stepped back.

*Gaurd Dog*

He yelped shrilly as she tore at his flesh and snapped at his eyes. But he was idle during this time, and scored a viscious wound to the side of the wolf's face before she could step back. Snarling deeply, the dog sprang forward, still full of energy and the will to fight. He snapped feverishly at any part of Zaar he could get his teeth on.

Zaar

She let out a feirce howl of pain, then became a whirlwind of blunt claws and shrp teeth. She attacked his eyes, ears, stomach, legs, and tail. She finally grabbed on to his muzzle, and bit down as hard as her teeth would let her. This mutt would not be able to bite nobody when she was done!

*Guard Dog*

This was the muscular dog's weakness; he lacked the cunning and speed of wolves. If he had gotten ahold of her neck, shoulder, or legs, he could have killed her. But he was too slow. Almost helpless aginst this furious onslaught, the dog was soon bleeding from various wounds; including an ear slashed to ribbons and a tail that nearly bitten in two. Yet he did manage to get his teeth on Zaar a few time, and cause only some minor bites to her shoulder and muzzle.

When he muzzle was bitten, the dog snarled sharply between his now closed jaws, and tried to shake away from her. Unable to do that, he swung a heavy paw at the wolf, although that could hardly cause any damage. Soon, his bottom jaw cracked under the force of her jaws, and a few of his teeth broke. Giving muffled yelps, the dog tried to pull away again.

Zaar

She winced with the pain of the blows, but her eyes gleamed with a feirce determination. If this fool was going to mess with wolves, her was going to pay for it, and remember it for the rest of his pitiful life, if he got away alive. She clamped her jaws down even harder, biting with a power she did not know she had.

*Guard Dog*

The dog's eyes widen, and his dog is broken worse as blood seeps from his jaws. Pulling away from the wolf hurts too much, so he tries to swat at her with his paws once more. He couldn't do much now.

Zaar

She almost lets go as one of the dog's blunt paws hit her back, but she chides herself. It didn't hurt that much, and you almost have him! The iron taste of blood leaks onto her mouth, and she winces. But her teeth are covering both the dog's nose and mouth, so that probably means he can't breathe... Or so she hoped.

*Guard Dog*

The dog panics, and claws more frantically at Zaar with his heavy, although blunt-clawed paws. The pain was almost too much now. With an exasperated snarl, the powerful guard dog suddenly lunged forward, hoping to knock Zaar off her balance for an moment. Of course, that hurt his crushed jaw terribly, and caused it to bleed all the more. And it was true, he was having a difficult time breathing and wouldn't last much longer.

Zaar

She almost once again lets out a howl of pain as many of the dog's blows hit her, but remains firmly attached to the dog's muzzle. Satisfaction gleamed in her strange azure eyes; she could tell he was growning weaker.

*Guard Dog*

The muscular dog fought in vain, but his vision began to blur. Pain brought shock to his body, and his senses began to dull and he got light-headed. Quite suddenly, his heavy body shuddered and collapsed to the ground. His breathing was very shallow now, and so was his pulse; but he was still alive.

Zaar

Seeing victory close at hand, the wolf shakes her head side to side, dragging the mutt along with her. She growled beneath clenched teeth, and pushed down even harder with sharp ivories.

*Guard Dog*

The dog is limp and nonresponsive to these attacks. The owner of this prized guard dog is busy down in the pit, and knows nothing of his dog's plight; luckily for Zaar.

As the wolf's teeth crunch deeper through the bone and sever vital veins, the dog's blood pressure dips extremely low. Suddenly, the dog's heart just stops, from the combination low blood-pressure and the loss of blood.

Zaar

Realizing the dog was dead, she quickly unclenched her jaws, wincing as blood filled her mouth. She spat on the dog, riding her mouth of blood, and swiftly trotted out of the back gate and onto the street before anybody saw her there.
