the brute was hunkered down in his cage a growl escaping him when a person or another mutt got too close. He hadn't been fed or had another chance to fight since he lost one. He growled again as the man he had wanted to kill pasted maybe next time his eyes read. For now he could only wait to see if Jack or someone came for him.

Perdition

A furious roar could be heard. The dog had been left alone in a cage with the body of a dead man. A pitbull was with him but the female was of no concern to him. He could snap her in to if he so choose. He saw the other wolf and his eyes widened. "Here pretty puppy. Wanna play? Lets play a game." He hissed at the other. He wanted to kill. To be in pain. He wanted to DO something.

|I ain't no puppy and how to we play if youget me out of this cage I'll show you a good time|

The brute smirked he wanted to taste blood as much as this one did his fangs barred lightly in show of anticipation.

Ethan & Jack

Having gotten a new wolf, and a pregnant one at that, Ethan was feeling rather well about his stance in the fighting world. In fact, he had just recently constructed a new home out in the White River Mountain Range, smack dab in the middle of a wolf territory; the territory where one of his newest fighters had killed the last wolf in. Now it was time to check out this fighter that his friend had spoken of...

The tall man, with his deep-set eyes and haunting appearance, didn't seem all too surprised when he walked into the basement and caught sight of the slain man. In fact, their was the hintings of a smirk on his cruel face.

The same could not be said for the second man who entered the basement; Jack. The sight and smell of the man made Jack's face pale considerably, and it looked as if he might loose his lunch over it. But, sucking in a few ragged breaths, he regained his composure and walked wearily towards Torrent's cage, trying to avert his eyes from the grizzly scene.

Ethan's previous smirk melted away, and now he looked coldly down at the dead man, trying to figure out how to take care of this situation. He was that didn't strictly abide to the laws of society, and knew there'd be more trouble calling the police here, when he could just dump the body in the woods and let the blame fall on local wolves. Calling a hesitant Jack back over, the two began to stuff the body into a bag. More than once, Jack had to take a quick dash to the bathroom as the stench and sight of it all got to his stomach. But in fairly short time, the corpse was hauled upstairs and tucked conviniently into the bed of Ethan's truck, for later disposal.

Now down to business. Both men went to their fighters. Still pale and shaky, but in control of himself, Jack eased open Torrent's door and tried to slip a chain about his neck. Ethan did likewise. And as usual, both men carried clubs in their opposite hands.

Jack wasn't on Torrent's good side right now so the moment the man was seen he growled dentals flashing but he allowed the collar to slip onto his thick neck. He moved out of the cage quickly away from the clud he knew what lessons it carried. He eyed Ethan quickly with eyes in small slits he rose to his full height which was tall for his wolf linage. Silver with blue eyes that might as well have been red with the rag that was built up in him. A pit fighter since birth. Snarling he tugged his chain he wanted blood.

Perdition

He snarled as Ethan came near but then he saw the other dog once more. With a loud roar the dog slammed against the enclosure once more making it shudder from the weight thrown against it and the brute force behind it. As Ethan slipped the chain about his massive neck the hybrid snarled and threw himself at the end of the chain trying as hard as he could to get nearer to Torrent and tear the male to pieces. He was angry for being locked away for so long with a body that smelled horrible and a pitbull who talked to much.

Ethan & Jack

Jack remained in control now, for a snarling, bristling canine was something he was use to. Still, he was wary. Ethan seemed pleased, if not cruely delighted at Perdition's actions. Both men led their fighters to the pit. At the same time, in simple, swift action, their collars were taken off. The men stepped outside of the fenced enclosure and closed the doors.

By this time, a few more men had begun to file into the room, wrinkling their noses at the stench of death. But half of them were drunk already, and the rest didn't dare question Ethan about the rankness of the air. A sharp glare their way told them to be quite about it, and they silently obeyed, like a group of submissive puppies. Besides, most could guess what had taken place, and that Ethan had taken care of it. Moving on to matters at hand, they crowded near the Pit and began placing bets.

Perdition

The hybrid let out a roar as the chain relinquished its hold upon him. He flew forward straight for Torrent, his head down, massive body moving swiftly and covering ground fast. The dog wanted to wind Torrent before attacking. For now he would either run from his foe or make the other run. He bit hard at the other male and tried to force the dog to move as he had done the pup that had been slain by him earlier. He bit hard at Torrents haunches to get him to move forth, always with Perdition right behind biting hard his teeth snapping as he pressured to make the dog move. He would either get the other male to move or he would slam into him with all his massive weight to bring him down and force him to surrender.

Torrent

the brute had no intention of moving at first. He didn't race to the other either he ahd learned eagerness can get you no were. As the brute bit into Torrent haunches he did something no one not even the brute behind him thought he could do with such speed for his size. He hunched down and pushed off with hind pillars while his chassis twisted and his teeth showed open and ready as he came about he would end up at the brute's shoulder and Torrent snapped his jaws closed on anything he could. He was not a pup to be shoved about on a whim and he had just proved it.
