Ethan

Amidst a downpour of rain, a truck came sputtering to the house and pulled into the garage. The sky outside was dark and tinted yellow-green. As the vehicle was turned off, Ethan stepped out and peered out a window. Suddenly the small garage was filled with a loud drumming sound as hail began to pelt the structure. Outside, cars were recieving dents and broken windows as the large balls of ice came crashing down. Breathing a sigh of relief, the man headed for the crate where Rocky was.

The same old smirk crossed his dark-eyed face as he pulled the door open to let Rocky out. As soon as he had opened the crate's door, Ethan stepped back and pulled his arm away, always expecting the worst from Rocky. And already, the shocker box was held ready in one hand.

Rocky Road

He was quiet by the time they made it into the garage, his strength returning and his snarl as dangerous as before. He too heard the hail, but was not grateful for the grage cover. He rather be out in the den in the middle of the storm. He shook his wet pelt, standing up as he heard Ethan come over. He growled as he spotted him, kicking up against the bars.

But as the doors was opened, he paused, not running striaght out. He instead studied the man, faintly aware of the shocking box. He jumped lightly out and sat down where he was. The hybrid didn't particularly want to be shocked at the moment, but he wanted room to manuever just in case he needed it. Eyes never left the man though, if looks could kill, Ethan would drop dead at that moment. But, unfortunately for Rocky, it wasn't that easy.

Ethan

Keeping the shock box carefully in hand, Ethan made his way over to one way to grab a long, wooden pole known as a bite stick. This was something he used to handle the more vicious fighters at a close range. If Rocky tried to run away, he would shock the wolf, and then go to him with the bite stick and maneuver him around with it.

Rocky Road

Rocky watched him almost curiosly, already conveinced there was no way out of the garage at the time being. And also his injuries began to throb, it wasn't time to try escape yet. He tentavily licked his shoulder wound, keeping a way eye on his slavedriver.

He noticed the pole he now had and recognized it from past experiences. It was just used to keep him off them and in the fight in the past, though Ethan didn't seem like a normal slavedriver. He may have a whole different use for it.

After another lick he began pacing the outside of the room, the throbbing being too much for him. He hoped the walking would help it somewhat at least.

Ethan

Ethan began to steer Rocky Road toward the training arena, where the wolf would be put up against any number of strange and often unfairly advantaged opponents. Knowing Rocky's nature, he was certain that the wolf would enter without too much persuasion, but he raised the pole into a more offensive position, just in case, and spoke to the wolf. "Go on, in you get. And don't try anything." And he squinted at the wolf, continually alert to any trick he might pull.

Rocky Road

A growl came from deep inside his throat as began trying to steer him and he bent over in a hunting crouch. But Ethan guessed correctly and he went in without too muh trouble, unless Ethan poked him. He then would turn on it, trying to grab the stick away from Ethan in a little tug-a-war game. But he was in soon enough.

And as soon as he was began his pacing again, growling at all who may be coming to watch.

Ethan*Wolverine

For now there would be no audience. This was training, not for betting. Locking the gate behind Rocky, Ethan disappeared through the back room and came back with a carrier, it's contents growling and spitting viciously. Hefting the carrier with difficulty, the man unceremoniously dumped the animal into the ring with Rocky. The spitting, snarling ball of fur was a wolverine: a large, mature male. Almost three feet in length with an extra three inches of claws, he bares his thirty eight razor sharp fangs with menace. Wolverines are known for their strength, cunning, fearlessness, and voracity, and this one was no exception. His fur rose reflexively and he appeared several times his own size. Without waiting to orient himself, the wolverine threw himself at Rocky, going for eyes.

Rocky Road

He looked curiosly at the crate that was giving off strange noises of anger. His floppy ear rose half way as he tried to figure out what it was. No canine in there, but not a rodent or something like a raccoon. Too bad, he liked fighting raccoons, kind of funny creatures really. So as the creature toppled on the floor he would of liked a moment to study it, getting to know what he was against. But no such oppurtinity was given, for he came at him the moment he touched floor. He guessed its target and rose its head just out a comfortable rech for him, but not enough to make his thraot an easy bite. The surprising long claws still caught some part of his face however, adding another potential scar down his cheek. He growled in annoyance and lunged in as the wolverine was recoveringfrom the attack. He was going for a back or throa hold, but really any hold would do.

If said fangs sank in the beast's flesh he hold latch onto and toss it in the air. It may be big for a small creature, and strong, but he being the St. Bernard wolf hybrid he was, was still stronger. But if not such a hold was given to him, he would still latch, but only to tear away skin.

Ethan*Wolverine

Ethan watched his fighting work in silence, analyzing his every move for flaws.

The wolverine was caught in Rocky's back hold, and flew gracelessly into the air as the wolf threw him. He collided with the ground with a dull THUD, but recovered quickly, nursing a scored back that was coursing crimson fluid. Once again he launched himself at Rocky, this time higher, hoping to digs claws and teeth into the wolf's back and sides.

Rocky Road

He came at it as soon as he let loose his jaws, slightly amazed at how fast it recoverd. It went up and he went down, looking for a belly, chest or throat hold. He winced slightly as the wolverine clawed his back and teeth sunk into his already hurting shoulder, but if he got a good hold, it didn't matter so much. He would live anyway, and that was what mattered.

Wolverine

The wolverine managed to dodge the first attempt at a hold on a vulnerable spot, but he dodged so quickly that he fell off of Rocky's back, landing on his back on the floor. The next time Rocky aimed for it, a hold was made on the exposed belly portion. Still the wolverine struggled, slashing claws and teeth at Rocky's muzzle, attempting to do as much damamge as possible.

Rocky Road

Rocky's eyes closed as the sharp claws began scraping over his face, but he would not be shooken off. He knew of how much damage he could do with such a hold and decided to use that knowledge. His fangs gud in as much as they could and locked on, paws moving so he could keep the writhing beast on its back. He twisted, brought up his head, and brought back down as hard and as harshly as he could. He could only guess how much damage he was doing to the precious organs underneath his teeth.

Wolverine*Ethan

The wolverine let out a shrieking cry as Rocky dug into vital organs with sharp fangs. He reached up for a last blow, dragging both handsful of claws completely down the muzzle, before his body shuddered and went still.

Ethan was pleased. His face showed a mad grin, and he spoke, a little slur in his voice. "Well, well. You've gotten better, I can see. That's good."

Rocky Road

He yelped as the wolverine dragged its claws across his face, leaping away. He was about to come back in for the fight, but the dirty work was already done. He sniffed the now dead body and growled softly in triumph. Leaving it he began pacing in front of Ethan, growling and snarling. His back and shoulder had a tint of crimson as the new wounds bled. His face had more injuries to add with his scars, the deepest being the wolverine's last attempt to hurt him. And it did, his face stinging where the crimson injury laid. But he could still see, smell, and hear. It would soon scar over, and it wouldn't be nay different then the others. He growled again, thinking he wasn't quite done with his 'training'.

Ethan

Ethan smiled in triumph. "Tough brute, aintcha? Well, I didn't pick you for your looks, that's for certain." He stepped back, and came up with a bucket of water, which he unceremoniously dumped over Rocky's head. "Refresh yourself while I go fetch another friend for you to play with." And he turned, going back into that back room again, closing the door behind him.

Rocky Road

The words meant nothing to him, though he banged up against the fence. He paused at the sound of water, water was good. But then the darn thing was poured over his head, well, you couldn't expect much more out of Ethan. He growled, shaking his head loose of the droplets, and at the same time snapping at Ethan. As soon as he left though, he dropped the aggressive stance, to lick the place up of the water that was left. It was only enough to tickle his thrist and wet his tongue, but it would be enough. The great beast began pacing again, anxious for the next fighter.

Ethan*Wolf

Ethan reentered, pushing before him a large, struggling wolf hybrid on a cinch pole. Not daring to open the door to the pit, knowing Rocky too well for that, he flexed what muscles he had and used the cinch pole to heave the hybrid over the wall and plop him gracelessly into he pit. As soon as the wolf's feet hit bottom, he fell into a low stalking stance, and Ethan released the catch and reclaimed his pole. The wolf's eyes centered on Rocky, ear's forward aggressively, a low growl in his throat. He matched Rocky in size, but was a touch lighter, and he eyed the hybrid with a distinct hatred, waiting for him to move.

Rocky Road

His head came up at the sound of him returning, along side him was a hybrid. Finally, someone that may actually be a challenge... maybe. SOme wolves were easy to beat, so this could be child's play too, he would find out soon enough anyway. He barked anxiously, following the pair as mush as he could. The great hybrid backed up when Ethan dumped the canine over the fence, afarid of a shock, but he did not wait long before coming in. Before the pole was even loosen he came in for an attack.

Hackles raised, lips back, tail high and ears forward he showed all the signs of aggression. They wasn't exactly any look of hatred, just cool killer instincts. If he did not kill he would be killed. Sure, he hated alot of animals placed in front of him, but he was too much in the killer mood to worry about such things. So cool and in charge, he was a dangerous beast.

With ethan being the quick mover he was, the pole was loosen by the time his fangs reached for a face, throat, or chest (he wasn't picky) of the other canine. He having the pole around his neck would disadvantage the beast, and was also hoping that Ethan would instinctively pull the pole back, which would surely jerk the hybrid. If all went well he would have a death hold before the hybrid could even think.

Ethan*Wolf

Ethan saw Rocky's intention, and was careful to lift forward instead of back, freeing the wolf's neck without jerking him about too much. The match would be no fun if he killed his opponent before the fight began. He smiled at his fighter's courage, however, and stepped back to watch.

Seeing a rocket of fur coming at him, the hybrid rose up on hind stilts to meet Rocky, hopefully to knock him back, or even off of his feet.

Rocky Road

NO one would believe he just had a fight momments before with the energy he gave now. The other went up and he went down. Sure, he may be maybe to get a back hold, but the throat was not un easy target. He kept his mommentum up so he slid into the back legs and instantly went up for the stomach. His powerful jaws searched for any hold, for this place was very vulnerable, any hold would do.

Ethan*Wolf

Ethan watched, impressed with this tactic. Rocky knew his business.

The wolf felt tetth dih into his body and slammed into the side of the pit, while at the sae time reaching down and back for a hold. Anything would do as long as he could cause enough pain to make the other let go.

Rocky Road

His powerful jaws bite into the soft underside as far as he could go, and at the same time trying to get more underneath him to save his back from a beating. He slipped slightly when he slammed into the pit, but his hold stayed true. Feeling the other's muscle tighten as he tried to get a hold of his spine he quickly got his hind paws underneath and vaulted up, pushing his target as high as he could. He grimaced slightly as he felt sharp canines dig into the base of his tail, the back missed by only a few inches.

Wolf

Having caughr the tail, the wolf brought his jaws together with all the strength he could muster. However his moment's distraction with the tail had permitted Rocky to gain his back hold, and the hybrid began to thrash, truing to dislodge Rocky.

Rocky Road

His growling increased as the other bit into his tail, wagging it furiosly as if trying to dislodge him. But he had got a hold as well, sinking his jaws into it as much as he could. Using his paws to steady him as otehr thrased, he growled warningly and shook his jaws, trying to tear deeper in. Whenever their was a pause, with a pit's patience and eye, he began moving upwards to the throat. It was about time this battle ended.

Wolf

He continued to struggle, but would not release his hold on Rocky's tail. If he was going down, he was going to take as much of the other with him as he could. He dragged his teeth down to the end of the tail and let his grip slide, hopefully shifting his teeth to a rear limb.

Rocky Road

Growling with growing annoyance he caused as much pain as he could on his way to the throat. The tail was expendable, but as most would agree, he rather keep it in one shape. But the next move of the beast was too much pain for him. He tore his teeth away from its current position, roaring with anger. His bloody mess of a tail sagged pitifully, it was too painful to keep it up. But in teh same moment he ran forward, jaws open to grab anything he could, aiming for the face area. Muzzle was good, eyes, ears, throat was better. Just anything to tear this beast limb to limb. With such a sudden burst of energy the beast's hold was missed, though his fangs clipped it, leaving it to bleed somewhat freely.

Wolf

He grinned maniacally as he felt his fangs hit their mark, but his attack had thrown him off balance, and Rocky landed his attack on the brute's nape. Seeing his mistake, the big mix pulled back, biting at Rocky's face, but if Rocky was fast enough, he would tear the vein anyway.

Rocky Road

The figther knew the animal's first thought was too get away from him as soon as his jaws touched neck flesh. The vein was not in good reach so as soon as he touched he unlatched, at the same moment moving forward to the vein. If it, or anything else, was found in his jaws he would clamp the powerful thing together.

Wolf

The wolf continued to jerk wildly, a sign of an inexperienced fighter. As he jerked though, Rocky chose an opportune moment, and managed to catch the vein. The wolf felt jaws lock around his throat and pulled back, effectively severing that vein. As he went down, his jaws aimed one last, pitiful attack at Rocky's foreleg, but his aim was so far off that it didn't even come close to hitting.

Rocky Road

A shiver of thrill went through the hybrid as he felt the pulsing vein between his jaws. But before he could even to the do the pleasure of stopping it, the other jerked away, cutting his own life line. He let him go, backing a step so the bite had no chanec what so ever to get him. He continued to stare at the now dead body with an odd expression on his face, as if he was dissapointed, his pink tongue rolling out in a pant. He soon looked back over at Ethan and growled, pacing once more.

Anyone could tell he was tired now, panting and a little less spring in his step. But ardeline qwas always on his side if he was to fight again. Ethan
