Duncan, Riley
A couple of canines came plodding through the dump. One was walking easily and without a care. The other had a very unsettling and bad limp.
Duncan was carrying his hindleg as best as he could as he moved along, giving out a slight rumble each time his limb was moved. The bone had been painfully cracked and splintered. "Fools! I'll teach 'em a lesson, just you watch!" he snarled out lightly, although most of his words often weren't very true. However, his voice held a faint hint of something... Something, dangerous. "They'll be bigger fools then me! The fools!" he snorted, staggering to the side. His mind was wrung with a silly anger.
Riley, a sable-hued Border collie, trailed a ways after his companion. The two had met up shortly after Duncan had gotten the broken leg and Riley had visited a human area, only to come back empty. With a sigh, he whipped his banner. Then he took a seat at the edge of a pile of junk, and simply sat there, unmoving. Thoughts were running wild.
Descent/Abyss/Contrast
Descent, the Cascade Mountain Wolf, led her "team" past the piles of rotting trash. She looked back at Abyss and Contrast, then gazed at the horizon. She saw two figures sitting by a pile of trash. "Come on. Let's go check this out." She said, then picked up the pace. She stopped by Duncan and Riley, but didn't sit down like she usually did. "Is everything alright?" She asked, curious but cautious.
The Tundra Wolf and British Columbian Wolf sat down and watched from a distance.
Duncan, Riley
Riley was simply sitting there now, staring hard and uncaring at Duncan. He seemed perfectly find to the naked eye, and that was what put the canine off. He figured that the bone would heal itself, although they were still interested in finding the most desired human help. After both of them had lived with humans all their lives, they had grown quite accustomed to their ways. But now was a time of need, and Riley personally didn't think too much of it. After all, it was Duncan. He was "dummy" Duncan.
"What?" the Border suddenly asked, turning his head quickly to first take sight of the wolven fae. His auds pricked, and his eyes slighly narrowed. "No, according to him." he replied, with a breif sigh outward.
Duncan was completely off in his own world, stuck in his own mind. Seemingly infuriated, but probably not nearly as angry as he looked. "Stupid leg, dumb animals... Le fools!" he mumbled bitterly to himself, neck bent back to lick and nip at his broken limb.
Descent/Abyss/Contrast
Descent walked closer. "Is there something we can help you with?" She asked, noticing Duncan's odd behavior.
Abyss and wagged her tail, but Contrast sat down. She knew not to upset an injured canine.
Duncan, Riley
Riley snorted again, and turned his head to watch Duncan for a brief moment. He was being quite unruly now, ever since that little run in with a few other canines. He personally didn't know much at all about it.
"Not really, just a broken bone." he stated, taking in a deep breath inward. His auds twitched as his brown eyes studdied the other canines curiously.
Duncan, despite having been off complaining to himself, caught on easily and quite quickly as his amber eyes were turned to the group. "More like yes. Yes," he began, seeming to yeowl at times when he spoke, "Are you blind? Blind?" he then asked Riley, with an irritated tone. He still hadn't lost his personal touch, though-- talking a lot.
