Ankh

With the human at the Stores taken care of, Ankh returned to the Dump to retrieve his son. But to his dismay, Desmon was no where to be found. "Des! Des!" The hybrid barked sharply, skirting the highest mounds of the dump for good vantage points. But no where did his see the two-toned form of his son. Panicking, Ankh gave a loud howl to call for his pack.

Snowy Owl & Honthale

Following after her mate, Snowy Owl quickly realized what the delema was. "Desmon... he's lost!" She whimpered, rushing up the same mound that Ankh was standing on. "Should we tell the Lurkers? They could help us find him." She suggested, frantic to find her missing son.

Honthale bristled his fur and growled ominously, "Whoever did this, I'll tear 'em to peices!" He was always itching for a scuffle, and was rather overprotective at times, even for his young age.

Niavo

Niavo followed the pair after they left the scene of the humans' slaying. He could clearly detect the odor of humans, but then it wasn't too uncommon for them to wonder around the dumps just as much as the feral dogs did. And yet... one particular scent seemed to be mingled with Desmon's. Not that it did him any good, for the scent was quickly lost amid other stenches.

"I'm thinking a human took him. We'll need to search the fighting areas... they take pups to use as bait." Niavo insisted, having scene things like this happen. Still, it was only a guess at best.

Ankh

He almost cringed at the though of Desmon being pitted against some savage, blood-thirsty mongrel in the dark dungeon of a human's basement or garage. Hoardes of chaotic humans crowded around yelling, their tainted breath and smoke-sticks fouling the air. "Where should we start?" The hybrid asked, looking to his alpha with worried eyes.

Tornado

The light-gray wolf, with swirls of darker gray blended into his coat, made little contrast with the bland, disorderly sight of the Dump. He had been on his way to the Stores when he heard the howl of Ankh, whom he knew to be the mate of his daughter. "Owl!" Tornado barked, moving up the slope where the pack was stationed, "I'm sorry to intrude... what's the matter?" He questioned, cutting off what he was about to say when he realized that all was not well. He had heard from Ankh's howl that all was not well, but it became apparent just how bad when he saw their expressions.

Snowy Owl & Honthale

Snowy looked to her father, and for a brief moment, there was joy. "Dad!" But all too quickly, that joy was shot down by the worry over her missing son, "Desmon in missing- Niavo thinks humans took him, and I think he's right." She glanced to Honthale, who was busy sniffing about in his own mission to find his brother.

"Would you watch him for me? You and grandpa?" She could hear Peregrine in the distance, howling for his family members. "When we find Des, I will join you for a reunion."

Honthale frowned, hearing what was said, "I don't want to go with him! I've got to find my brother!" The large pup growled lightly, looking uncertainly to Tornado.

Snowy Owl nudged her son, "Honth, that's no way to treat your grandpa Tornado. Humans are too dangerous for you anyway." Her voice was stern enough to end even Honthale's stubborn protests. Resolving to mutter in vain under his breath, Honthale padded towards Tornado, ready to follow him.

Tornado

"I bet a hunt will take your mind off things, Honthale." Tornado suggested, looking down to the youngster, before looking to his daughter, "For heaven's sake, be careful, Snowy. If you need any help, I'll get my friends to assist you, as well as the rest of our family." He warned, knowing full well how dangerous humans could be. His brother had died because of them, and he had nearly lost his first mate from their guns... although now, it didn't really matter.

With a look to Honthale, Tornado headed back to the Spinulose Bog.

Niavo

He watched the interaction silently before adressing his small pack, "If we split up, we could cover more ground; but I'm afraid we may run into trouble that way. Our best bet is to stick together. We'll scour the Down Town area first." Flicking his black, thickly-furred tail in the air, the alpha headed towards the town.
