Kavik

The hybrid's strong limbs pushed him up and then down on the hard gravel surrounding him on the ground. Living a lone life had made him more cautious, so his ears were pricked forward, catching every little noise, his nose taking in every little scent. It was true he could smell other canines, mostly other hybrids, but the thing that caught his attention the most was the scent of them. Kavik shuddered slightly and he started to scan the area before him with overly curious and dull yellow eyes. He had come to search for humans, or for a friend perhaps. Either one would be good, but he had high hopes of a human. But who was he to tell whom would come along? Another animal or one of them? Kavik pushed away the thought and sat on top of a large mound of trash, letting his body roll over so that he laid on his side. He fell asleep but his keen scences still worked in dreamland.

*Human*

A woman and a slightly younger lady had come to the dump, searching for any useful stuff. They began to search about the heap that Kavik was on top of, but an old washing machine obscured his view from them. So they moved slowly about with their backs hunched as their long digits scoured over the trash. Their voices floated quiet and low as they talked to each other.

Kavik

Kavik awoke startled by the voices. His ears pricked forward with much curiousity. This could be his chance. His first real encounter with the humans. He stood immedietly on his perch of garbage and scanned the dump in front of him and around him, finally spotting the two humans. He started growling loudly to attract their attention. He let out some angry barks and a loud yip before he went stiff and ridged. His fur bristled every which way as his unmoving eyes stared straight at the two. He waited for a sudden reaction.

Shadow

The black canis lupis watched. her coat, being amazingly pitch black, made her eyes look pure yellow. She watched the other wolf. Why did he want to hurt the human?

*Humans*

They hadn't noticed Shadow yet, but Kavik's noises caught their attention rather quickly. They both stood up and the younger of the two shouted angrily back at the dog, but was hushed by the woman. The two humans began to back off, being led by the woman while the lady seemed peeved at backing down from some angry canine.

Kavik

Kavik snarled viciously at Shadow. Then he abruptly turned back to the humans, dull yellow eyes watching them from the moment on. His tail swayed idly behind him as he advanced closer. His problem with the humans wasn't actually a problem, but they had done something that had changed Kavik's life forever. He took the angry shouting hard and let out his own raging snarl at them. He bared his fangs and stepped closer, ignoring the fact that they were moving the opposite way of him. He snarled again and then leapt up at the younger human, who had done the shouting. It didn't exactly feel great to his powerful ears, so he would get this human. His jaws were wide open and ready to clamp onto a leg to make the lady fall... If the other woman was to try and run, Kavik would dash at her and snap at her legs with his strong jaws and make her possibly fall so that he could maybe have them both down in an acceptable amount of time.

Vicious

Gray wolf came up silently from the humans hind ends. Staring at them with his single orb. Smirk tickled his lips as he watched. He held his ears back and kept silent while they began to back. Oh but they were comming straight to him. Dashing quickly he aimed for the unsuspecting womans neck. Hoping to break her neck to kill her quickly. The growls and snarles from Kavik would easily cover his noises until he jumped with a growl to the woman. Fangs longing to find their target.

*Humans*

They both had turned to run, fleeing in terror from the furious canine. But had gotten his aim right and the younger of the two human feas was felled quickly. A shrill scream rent the air, followed by the thick odor of blood as his fangs tore into her leg. She kicked out instinctively with her other leg, trying to bash him in the sensative nose...

The other woman had turned abruptly at hearing her companion scream. She barely noticed the new arrival, and it was too late already. She felt a powerful body slam against her, throwing her back against the rubbish. Before having time to comprehend what had assailed her, hot fangs found their way to her neck and broke through the bones, killing her in a flash.

Kavik

Kavik turned his head angrily to see the new wolf, teeth still clamped onto the leg. The other wolf attracted too much of his attention and he was soon bashed in the nose. He reared up on his hinds and pawed at his face while letting a loud muffled snarl come from his maw. Falling back onto the ground, he quickly advanced on the fallen human and leapt at her again, this time aiming for the neck, the easiest way to kill any animal, particually humans...

Vicious

The brute stared at the other. His eyes widened as he watched him attack for the fallen child. Smirk playing with his lips as he turned to head for the cow pasture once again. Hoping this time to get a good, weak group to slaughter, He was half their size. He could take them.

*Human*

The human gave a shriek as her long-digited hands entwined into the fur of Kavik, clutching and digging into his summer ruff and scratching the skin beneath. But all too soon, her struggles ended in a flash as her neck was broken.
