Tesla
The mangy brown he-wolf prowled in, his golden orbs looking back for his friend. He didn't know why his senses brought him here, but he figured they could find something interesting to do.
It smelled of many different, and to a sheltered wolf, exotic scents.
Azra
Azra was closely behind Tesla, never being in the city, it frightened her. She trusted the he-wolf, finding comfort by standing close to him. As they neared the dump, she smiled softly as the sweet winds came to her, though she was apparently having difficultly stifling a laugh. She came beside him and smiled, shaking her head in a joking manner, males-always thinking of their stomach. The maiden passed him and studied the winds, trying to find the best source of food.
She moved around slowly, amazed by some of the things she found. As she sniffed an old boot another scent came to her, the source of it was alive. She looked up to a see a small feline looking back at her, holding a treasure he found from the dumpster it stood on. She growled, and the cat jumped and ran. Azra began to give chase, but stopped as the alley turned her ears forward as she listened to the cat's departure. She flattened her ears and came back to Tesla, awkwardly licking his muzzle in an affectionate greeting. She smiled softly and returned to looking at the pile of 'treasures'.
Tesla
He gave a wolfish blush and laid his ears back slightly, and glanced away, suddenly a bit shy. Deciding her intentions were fine, he suddenly became curious as to what it was she had found; though as fate would have it, he seemed to have momentarily lost his words.
Azra
She stopped her searching and looked over her shoulder at him, giving him a questioning look. She smiled and returned to her searching.
The place throughly checked out, she came back to him with a happy smile, apparently enjoying the place. She layed next to him, waiting to see what he wanted to do.
Fuego
Standing in the entance of the dump stood a very large black male wolf, watching them intently with his green orbs. When the wolfess layed next to the other male he moved forward, holding his head and tail high, stating he was an alpha. Standing before them he nodded, "Good day, I am Fuego." He spoke strongly, smiling at the lady wolf. He was out searching for members to join his pack, and hoping for maybe make some friends.
Azra
An ear flipped towards him lazily as it heard his claws scratch the cement floor. Suddenly the she wolf was on her feet and was staring at the other, startled by his sudden appearance. She noted his Alpha stance and made no move to challenge it, her tail limp.
After his greeting she relaxed and nodded her head, smiling back. "Hello Fuego, my calling is Arza." Azra wagged her tail slightly, always willing to make friends. She glanced towards her friend Tesla, wondering how he would react.
Fuego
Smiling at the femme he spoke, "Pleasure to meet you, Azra." He looked over at the other brute, wondering if he was going to tell him his name as well.
Tesla
The shaggy dirty brown male squelched a growl rising from his throat; he had felt a sudden surge of jealousy-knowing full and well Azra was hoping for a pack life, but wanting to keep her as his friend, and perhaps more...his fondness for her had grown in their brief time. While he did not challenge the other positionally, his eyes were dark and moody, his voice sharp and short.
"I am Tesla," He stated matter-of-factly, his tail cricked defensively. He glanced over to Azra momentarily and felt a certain heat rush over his canine cheeks and sombered a bit.
Azra
he small she-wolf looked back at her friend, alarmed by his sudden change of attitude. She tilted her head to one side, and whined very softly, just so Tesla could hear. She watched him, trying to figure out why he suddenly got moody, but quickly looked away when he glanced at her. She sensed a slight decrease of tension from him, but was still slightly surprised. She quickly reposed herself, smiling again at the other.
Fuego
Fuego was a bit suprised by the brute's moodiness, but he understood, Azra was indeed a lovely fae, and he would feal the same if another brute aproached him. Smiling he nodded, "Nice to meet you, Tesla." Then he thought about what he was wanting to ask them in the first place, "I am in need of pack members, would the two of you be interested?" They seemed nice enough, and even though Tesla did not like him speaking with Azra, he hadn't challenged him, so, he didn't see a reason not to ask them to join his pack.
Azra
Azra wagged her tail a bit more furiously, obviously pleased by the invitation. The grey fae smiled with joy and took a few steps forward, but stopped and backed one in a second thought. Her tail went limp again and she looked back towards Tesla, he did not share the same pleasure of a pack life, not that she could find anyway. She smiled, wagging her tail slightly, waiting to see if wanted to go. She did not know what she would do if he did not. She sure would love to go back to a pack, and this wolf offered it to him, but that did not mean she disliked the male. Though, Azra hadn't yet thought of him more then a friend, she would hate to leave him. She waited patiently, her gentle smile filled with excitement.
Tesla
Tesla was suddenly faced with a life-altering decision...To join, or neh? He looked between the two furiously, his eyes glazed with contemplation. For years he had lived on his own, the feeling of freedom and painlessness was ecstasy to him-he couldn't think of any life other than this.
...But Azra; the beautiful she-wolf who had caught his attention, and accepted him when it figured best not to...His feelings were strong for her, but right now...right now he couldn't express them, and he did not want to ruin the chance for her to fulfill a dream. A very noble dream. He shook his head, emitting a small whimper to her.
"I, I'm sorry Azra...I can't, it won't feel right for me to pledge my allegiance to something I have never experienced, or felt the desire to..." His ears lowered back in sadness, and he turned. "But I will not stop you from joining his pack-that would be dishonorable." He looked away, amazed at his sudden changes in attitude. "Of course, if you ever need a friend, just find me-I'll always be here."
Before the mood could densen any worse he turned and fled quickly, afraid to look back at Azra, afraid his heart would fail him and he would relinquish his freedom.
...But was freedom worth losing a friend?
Fuego
Fuego was suprised by the male's action's, it was obviouse he liked the she-wolf a lot. Turning to her he smiled kindly, "M'lady, you don't have to join if you do not wish to." He said, if she wanted to go after Tesla she could, if she wanted to join his new pack she could. But he had to let her know something first, "I must tell you, you will be the first wolf to join my pack, I have just arived at Sparkleing Creek Valley and I am working on building a strong happy pack."
Azra
Her body sagged in sadness, she had much hope that her new found friend would come with her. She had not yet found any really strong feelings to him, but it felt wrong to abandon the one who welcomed her into a strange land. She whimpered softly, nut so sad that he declined, but now she was spilt between the two. She wanted to be around other canines, a pack, but..
She yelped in shock when he fled, "Tesla..!?" She had no idea what to say, but why did he just leave? Her complete body sagged now, it seemed to her she lost a dear friend. She slowly turned when Fuego spoke, she tried but failed to return the smile. She listened to the information, a bit dissapointed but packs grow. she looked back at Tesla's dissapearing image, she spoke almost unaudibly, "I... I don't know."
Fuego
Nodding understandingly he sighed, "That is fine, I can understand you not being able to make your choice. Take as long as you wish to decide, if you do choose to come and join my pack, it is Stardusted Plains." Smiling at her kindly he turned, "For now, I must be on my way, it was a pleasure meeting you, Azra." With that he started off, she had a decision to make and would probably need to be alone.
Azra
Azra only heard a few words, Stardusted Plains being among them. She sat there much after she was left alone, her mind filled with different reasoning. How could those males do this to her? Tearing her mind in two... A bark filled her auds and the she-wolf jumped to her feet, thinking of nothing else but the decision she had to make. She stood there momentarily, looking around for the source. Seeing nothing she turned and fled this was no place to think.
