*Grizzly*

A large grizzly lumbers down near the dump. Three of his ribs are broken, so he is unable to hunt effectively for now. He thrusts his big muzzle into the garbage, searching for food.

Shadow

Shadow had caught the bear's scent from away and tracked it here. She froze momentarily as she saw the big grizzly. She didn't know it would be this big. She flicked her tail a few times then called out to the bear, "Pss... grizzly."

*Grizzly*

It looks towards the wolf, showing no hostility, "What?" he rumbles, sounding almost annoyed. Since there was so much food to be found, and he was so large, he felt no need to attack Shadow.

Shadow

Shadow's ears pin back. "no need to sound bothered. I have a proposition for you. It involves food.." she pauses a moment and lets her ears slowly come back to the alert position..."but will require something small of you."

*Grizzly*

"Food?" he snorts, "If it is something small, then I suppose I can. But be warned, I won't tolerate being tricked by a wolf!" He lumbers a few feet closer to you, stopping at a respectful distance to listen to what he must do for the reward.

Shadow

Shadow issues a small snarl, "Be careful of how you speak. Some wolves yes i agree, yes will trick one such as yourself. But I am not one to break what i say." Se sits down then begins. "I shall give you what remains of my moose calf kill, which is most of t, or hunt down something else for you if you prefer. But in return i want an alliance between you and my pack. We help you... you help us when need arises." She pauses a moment, "Do you have a name?"

Thunder's Call

"I will trust you then..." he replies warily at first. "And I will help you, in return for some food. And my name is Thunder's Call; what's yours?" the bear looks at Shadow thoughtfully, she was the first wolf... and really the first animal, who dared to approach him.

Shadow

Shadow wags her tail a bit. "A very nice name. I am Shadow." She stands up and turns around but looks back at him, "Follow me Thunder's Call. I will bring you to my catch." She turns back around towards him, "Also if you ever need help hunting again I shall help. That's part of the truce." She lopes off towards the caches of the sedge creek tt.

Thunder's Call

He follows after her, bounding as quickly along as his injured side would allow him.
