Jenny ran around chasing anything that moved giggling to herself.She was a pup so playing was fun to her.

Fang gave a throaty laugh when he saw a pup playing without a adult around.This'll teach you to leave your pup alone he thought.Silently he ran toward the pup and lunged for her throat.If he got ahold of it then he would bite down on her life vein.Then throw her down to die slowly.Then he ran away rather he got ahold of her or not.

Jenny let out a startled bark when something grabbed her by the throat.She let out a shriek of pain when the brute bit down on her life vein and throw her aside.If help didn't come she die.

Fang came back to watch the pup die.

Starlight saw Jenny and the brute that had attacked her.Without stopping she charged at him going strait for his throat.She was silently and downwind when she attacked.If she got ahold of him she killed him instantly.

Fang wasn't prepared for the attack so the fea got ahold of him and killed.He drew a last breath."I hate you,"he said and then was dead.

Starlight ignored the wolf and went to Jenny.She licked the pups wound hoping she was alright.She saw faint breathing and tried to wake her up nudging the little pup.

Jenny felt something nudging her.Opening her eyes she saw Starlight."Starlight help,"and then she was unconcuis.

Starlight watched as the pup went unconcius.She was worried and fear shone in her eyes.Throwing back her head she let out a howl calling to the pack.Maybe one of them would know what to do she hoped.Her howl was far from happy.It had anger,fear,and sadness in it.

Kahota padded up, and began to growl when the scent of fresh blood filled the air. He approached Starlight causiosly and his heart fell when he saw the pup on the ground, blood pooling neck. "Oh no." He nudged her and licked her wounds.

Starlight heard something behind her and she turned around.Her teeth were bared and pelt bristling.Her eyes glittering with anger.Then she saw that it was Kahota.Quickly she made her pelt stop bristling and hid her fangs.Glancing at the dead body of Fang and then back to Jenny.She watched as Kahota licked the pups wounds.Bending her head she licked the pups wounds too coping him.She didn't know what to do and she feared for the pups life.Is this what happens when you try to save a pup she thought.Looking up she glanced around looking for the others.Seeing none of them she guessed they stayed at the den."Do you think shes going to be okay,"she asked Kahota.She was hoping that the little pup would pull through from the attack,but there was a chance she wouldn't.

Jenny saw only darkness then she felt pain in her neck.All of a sudden she felt a toung licking her wounds making it stop hurting.Opening her eyes she looked up to see Starlight and Kahota.They were trying to help her.Then she smelled death in the air.Looking beyound the two adults she saw the male that had attacked her.She heard what Starlight said and waited for Kahota to answer.She prayed she make it through.Silently she waited for one of the older wolves to speak.

"If she has the will to live, and the strenght to fight for it, than she will. It is up to her now."

He turned mournful eyes apon the small form of the barely consious pup.

Starlight knew what he said was right,but she wished their was something she could do.She didn't want to feel helpless,and thats what she felt like.I couldn't save my mom,but i can save Jenny she thought with determination."She'll make it,"she said more trying to belive it herself than Kahota.She knew it was to risky for the pup to be moved."I'll stay here and protect her,"she said.She layed down beside the pup to keep it warm.Nothing was going to change her mind.She looked at Kahota to see if he demand her to go back to the den.She didn't think he would,but she couldn't be sure.Silently she waited.

Jenny heard what they were saying.I will make it shwe thought.I have to she added.Then she drifted unconcius again barely feeling when Starlight curled around her to keep her warm.Her ears were flat against her head.

Magical Wonder was out looking for his twin sister.She had dissapeared when their mother died.Sniffing the air he caught a faint scent of her.Looking around he saw a border.He knew better than to cross it,but he had to find his sister.His green orbs looked around before crossing.He padded along the beach for awahile when his sister smell began to become stronger.Looking ahead he saw her...and two adult wolves.Letting out a startled shriek when he smelt blood too.Racing toward them as fast as he could he put himself betwenn the two adults and pup."Leave my sister Jenny alone,"he snarled trying to sound brave.He was a little male pup against two adult wolves.His head and tail were low,but he protect his sister with his life.He was black with a whiteline on his forhead to his tail,like Jenny except the colors mixed.His usually light grren eyes shone dark with anger.

He turned when he heard the shriek and saw a black streak hurl itself between them and the young pup. He felt a small grin tug at the corner of his mouth, as the pup reminded him of himself at that age. "We are not the ones who harmed your sister, brave one. He is." He cast his muzzle at the dead brute that lay in a puddle of his own life's blood. "We are trying to save her. I'm not sure whether or not it was bold or foolish of you to cross my border. But I understand the need to protect your family. You may stay with her while she heals. Then when she is better, we'll talk more about this." He padded a few steps away before settling in to watch the unconsious pup.

Starlight smiled when she saw the little male pup sticking up for his sister.She listened to what Kahota said still smiling.Her smile vanishes when she turned to look at the dead brute.Then she looked at Jenny."What's your name,"she asked the little pup softly.Her eyes a little light blue.

Jenny opened her eyes when she smelled something familiar.Looking around she saw her brother Magical Wonder.Magic is what she called him.She smiled when he stood up for her.She knew it wasn't smart,but she couldn't help it.

Magical Wonder nodded his head to Kahota.Silently he let his fur lay back down.Turning he saw Jenny awake."Jenny,"he said.Then he looked up when the fea asked him his name."Magical Wonder,but yall can call me Magic,"he said.Everybody did,unless he hated them.Then he tare them apart.Only people he trust.So far he trusted the two wolves.

He nodded, already excepting the new pup as one of the pack. The family was steadily growing, but he was starting to wonder what happend to Dio and Kirrick. He missed the two faes, and hoped that they were allright. His gaze drifted back down to the two cubs and it made him feel warm to be around such young wolves. He never voiced it, but he longed for little ones of his own, and having them here filled a place in his heart that he didn't know was there. He gazed fondly at the three wolves and leaned forward to give each a gentle lick.

Now that there were new members, it was time to call the pack to him. The threat was gone. Canting his head back and parting his ivory daggers, he let free alow, hauntiong howl that carried an the breeze across the vast lands.

Starlight smiled when the pup was accepted.Now their would be two small ones to take care of.They would have to hunt soon.If she could get someone to watch Jenny she would go catch something for them to eat.Then again someone else might go hunt while she stayed and watched the two pups.She learned that the male pups name was Magic Wonder,but call him Magic.She smiled when Kahota licked her and the two pups.She watched silently as he howled for the pack.She wondered if Dionysus or Kirrick would show up as well.Maybe she thought.

Jenny woke up when she felt a tounge lick her gently.It was Kahota.She listened and watched as he howled for the pack.A smile came on her face,the first one since the attack,but it was a weak one.

Magic smiled when he was welcomed.He let out a small bark of joy.He smiled at Kahota when he licked him gently.He stood up when Kahota for some pack.Was he going to meet more wolves he thought.He wagged his tail happily.

Jake spiotted the small group of wolves and ran over to them.He was a full grown tiger.Spotting the new young wolf that smelled a little alike Jenny.He most be a sibling he thought."Who are you and i guess your a sibling to Jenny,"he asked with a smile.

Blackheart had made it just in time to hear Jake's question.So their was another youngster.He was a full grown tiger as well.He padded up beside Jake and waited for an answer from the youngster."I'm Blackheart and this is Jake,"he said and he flicked his tail ion Jake's direction when he said his name.
