Niavo

Having no clue where his alphas were, Niavo was no more than a lone wolf in an empty domain. Not being quite material leader, at least not by himself, the ebony hybrid set out from the pack that he had called home for so long. It was time he found a new family. Traveling due south, it didn't take Niavo long to hit the border of the SunSet Beach; one of the southern-most packs in the Valley. And being bordered by the Ferral Sea on two sides, it seemed quite a safe place to call home.

Knowing better than to simply cross a border without permission, Niavo held back and carefully picked over the scents that were there. Then he lifted his black muzzle slightly and issued a short, resounding howl to get the attention of the land's owner.

Kahota

Smoke-washed auds tilted north, catching the fading sound of a wolf's howl as it echoed across his shores. Ashen dial tilted into the wind, the soft sea-breeze filling his nares with the scent of the brute. He rose from the chilled sand, his thick, sinewy muscles rippling benieth his ghost-hued pelt. Tawny cream washed paws trailed through the bleached sands, the water reaching out as if to brush his pads as he trotted down the long stretch of beach. His steady pace took him to his lands' borders where the wolf waited. He stopped a few feet away from the hunter, his head was held high and his banner arched across his back proudly. Everything about him radiated authority as he drew back his sheath, baring one of his ivory daggers as a mild warning.

"Hello stranger. I am Kahota, alpha male of this pack. Speak your name and submit and you will be welcomed here."
He felt that he had been to gentle with the other wolves, and didn't want to seem weak to the other packs. So it was time to show a little tooth and claw before he accepted. His tail still swayed behind him, letting him know that he was not an enemy.

Niavo

With the approach of the alpha brute, Niavo quickly assumed the rightful position. Watching the subtle show of fang, the hybrid dropped down completely, tail lowered and ears back in an appeasing gesture. "Kahota, I am Niavo - son of the late Black Fyre and Hueros." If further submission were required, the ebony canine wouldn't hesitate to roll onto his back. Unlike his great nephew of the Ochotona Mountains pack, Niavo didn't mind in the least bit following the orders of others.

Kahota

He nodded to the brute and stepped back a bit, giving him room to rise up and stand before him. He had submitted and that was good enough for him. His tail, held high above his back began to wag gently, and his eyes soften as he watched the brute.

"Welcome, Niavo, to Sunset Beach pack. All the land that you see from here to the mountains in the distance is now yours to roam. Under a few conditions. If we come under attack, that you are at the borders, fighting to preserve this pack. When you hunt, you share what you don't eat with others, expecially in lean winter times. If you find a mate outside of these borders, bring her to me and she has my blessings to join. Other than that, these lands are here for all of us to share, so enjoy yourself."

Now his stance returned to that of a normal wolf and he gestered for him to go where he chose.

"Also there are a few females here that you are free to court. None have been claimed by me yet."
