Gray Feather

The son of Black Feather and Pirqua sailed in over the picturesque landscape, circling around for a few minutes to simply enjoy the scenery. Although he was very fond of the Alleys, it felt great to get away now and then.

Gray didn't spend too much time sight-seeing before he descended upon a leafless aspen tree, settled atop a high knoll. From there, he gave a series of shrieks, trying to call forth the members of the Sedge Creek.

Jais

Things had been considerably quite around the Sedge Creek recently, and Jais was quite glad for the reprieve from war. He was a bit downtrodden though, having not seen Kekechoi for some time, but he had no reason to believe that anything ill had befallen her.

"Hello, there. Ah... Gray Feather, right?" Jais questioned with a waving tail. He knew Pirqua and Black Feather well enough, but he hadn't seen the newest batch of falcons often enough to commit them to memory.

Karai

It didn't take long for the sound of a second set of paws to be heard, moving toward them at a fairly quick pace, though without the sharp intensity of her younger years. She'd been in the Valley now for three years, half of her own life, and was now six years old, and thus a little less quick than ever she had been. But as Karai pulled up beside Jais with a smile, her eyes were as intent as steady as ever. "Greetings."

Gray Feather

The young falcon dipped his head, "Gray Feather it is." He affirmed. Though he scarcely had time to interact with all the allies, the falcons knew each and every one of them down to the smallest details. In order to pick enemy from foe, their parents had spent plenty of time with them, circling silently over the packs and pointing out the members. They learned names, relations, personalities, and any bit of information available.

"Jais, Karai, I have a message for you and the others. Hydras and Lyckos have asked that all the allies gather at the Aegis Den." Gray went on to inform, lifting his head up now, "I belive it's going to be a communal hunting." He added as an after thought, "Please, in form the rest of the pack for me." With that, he bid them a farewell and took to the sky once more to alert the next pack.

Karai

Gray Feather was gone before she could say anything, so she directed her comment instead to Jais. "All the allies... I've not seen any of them in... a long time." There was an iron control in her voice, keeping it from trembling, though it took all the force she could muster. ">B?They're gone, Jais."

Jais

He stepped closer to Karai, flicking his tail against her side like a human might pat a friend on the back, "I'm sure they're fine, Kar." Despite his own nagging doubt, the wolf kept his words optimistic and certain, even flurishing a warm smile, "Maybe someone at the meeting knows about their wereabouts?" Jais took a step away from Karai, hoping that she was feeling up to the trek to the Alleys. If not, he was loath to leave her alone in the morose mood she was in.

Karai

Though the years and the constant warring and death in the valley had warped her sweet personality almost beyond recognition, there was one thing hadn't changed about the gentle mother's personality. She was intensely loyal, never able to think badly of a friend, and always willing to go to the ends of the earth and her own strength to bring them home. And as long as there was hop that someone might know where her friends were, she would follow that hint until it was exhausted, and even after that. It was this side of the fae that made her turn a grateful smile to Jais, returning the friendly twitch of tail before stone enveloped her voice, as it so often did these days. "Perhaps you are right. I've not left the terra in some time. Perhaps the change will do me good."
