Jais

It had been years since he was last here, but the scents of his birth land were unmistakeable. Ah, the sense of smell... the most potent link to the memory. He could still picture Railu in his mind, small and frail, but very dear to him. He remembered a blizzard too, a fierce one. Memory of his parents, his aunt, uncle, and other pack members were scares, but they were there. Even that big behemoth Thunder's Call. But alas, they were all gone now. All but Nachi and Cavan... but his memories of them as pups were few and far between.

Mentally shaking his head and pulling out of the reverie, Jais sent a strong, rolling howl into the air, calling for the pack's alphas. He carried the vague scent of Kekechoi on him, for she was the one who invited him to this land.

Moon Spirit

She heard the call of another and hesitantly left her mate and pups at the Den Site. Calmly she waled forth, her head and tail held high in proper alphess fashion, but Moon Spirit was not as vain as her sister Aaka. Spotting the male, her face softened and she smiled kindly at him as he smelled of her first litters youngest, Kekochoi. What can I do for you, traveler? She asked him. HEr eyes were soft and kind, for that was another thing that was different between her and Aaka. Moon Spirit cared for others.

Kianga

Kianga had been wandering a bit, trying to settle with herself and with the world around her. Like her friend Kekochoi, she had become quite introverted and defensively aggressive, and that protective definitely extended to her half-aunt.

The whole pack had been kind of looking after Moon Spirit, on Karai's orders, but it had been some time since any of them had been seen, and so Elena's youngest answered this call, coming up beside Moon Spirit with a little smile for this newcomer who smelled like her friend. She didn't say anything just yet, but her pose was a friendly one, so as not to frighten.

Jais

Instantly, his posture was lowered and his ears were laced back in Moon Spirit and Kianga's presence. The opposite of his survive brother and sister, Jais's personality quite readily matched with the alphess. Respectful, and considerate.

"I was hoping to join your pack. My name is Jais; this is the land where I was born. It would mean a great deal for me to reside her once more." Eyes were directed slightly below those of Moon Spirits, to show his interest, but by no means be challenging or authoritive.

Azul

the hunter had been out hunting and with him he carried a small fawm who had been born with a broken leg an easy target and large snough for Moon Spirit and the few that were here. He heard the call and scented the other male as he entered. Dragging the fawn on in he let it drop near by and padded forward a stern look in his amber and blue gaze but a smile on his mug. The Alpha male rested beside his mate
welcome. I am Azul. You are welcome here as long as you do no harm. My pack and family have been through rough times I won't allow them to get hurt again. If you wish you can start by going hunting with me again with the winter and blizzards coming we need food hidden to survive during them.

Jais

He bowed his head down further in respect to the other alpha's approach. "Thanks, Azul. I would never dream of harming this pack, you have my word." Jais knew his word wouldn't mean much right now, being as he was a total stranger. But in time, he was sure his loyalty and dedication would become apparent. And what better way to start, than to go hunting with his new alpha, and help provide for this new family? "I'd be glad to assist you in a hunt."

Kianga

Kianga smiled now, voice soft and tail wagging a bit as she came forward, a cheerful, I'm Kianga! emitted. And, hearing that a hunt was being formed, she spoke up.Me too, Uncle Azul? Can I help?

It was the question of a pup, though she was now grown. She had always been a bright, happy persona, but her sister's betrayal had darkened her personality, much as it had done to Kekochoi. She was by no means dark, but rather brooding. However, there was no need to let everyone know exactly how fleet and crafty she had become, and so she often mimiced her old personality to cover this up. Unfortunately, she did this almost to a fault, and ended up sounding as though she were quite small. It was in this sugar sweet voice she asked, bright eyes resting on Azul.

Kekochoi

She came out from the trees and putting on a fake, happy and bright smile, she trotted forth. "I see you met my new friend, papa, mama. Her eyes locked onto Kiangas and for an instant, there was a look in the black females eyes that was sad and full of shattered innocence. She blinked and it was gone, covered up by her lie, as she turned to her father once more. "Yeah, dad. Can we go on the hunt? We promise we won't mess anything up." She was still quite small for a wolf, having taken after her small mother, and even smaller aunt. Her mismatched eyes were never staying long on one thing, but constantly drifting as if she was afraid someone would see the truth.

Azul

as his two daughters begged to joined he could only smile how could he turn that sweet voice. Seeing them two together made his heart full of hope.
Yes you may join just promise to be careful? We will start a the Eskers if that fails we will have to get some sheep from the ranch how does that sound?

Kianga

She caught Keko's look and felt it reflected in her own eyes for that instant, but the Keko blinked and the feeling was gone. Keko knew. She had to know. They were just alike, she and Keko. Keko would always know.

But Azul's voice made her refocus on the task at hand, and she smiled softly and gave a small hop to one side, responding brightly. Promise, Uncle Azul, I promise. Sounds fun!

Keko

She smiled at her father "Yeah dad. Me and Kianga won't get into trouble, we're good girls." SHe giggled at that, and smiled at her father, covering up the lie with ease. It was getting easier and easier with every passing day.

Jais

He smiled in a friendly way at the daughters, letting his tail wave a little. Jais felt like the luckiest wolf in the world right now, having landed himself in an apparently loving, accepting little pack like this. And on his home turf? It couldn't be more perfect!

"The Eskers sounds like a perfect place to start." Jais confirmed with a nod, awaiting the departure of the little hunting group. He was ready to prove himself useful.
