White Light & others
White had been away for a while, leaving her new beta, Magadan in charge of the pack. She had to go for one reason, the wolf that tried taking her spot. She had to make sure Mag could keep everyone in line. But on her way back going through territories she encountered a few tigers and lions. She had cleaned up the wounds but could not hide the fact she was limping. Getting to the border she started renewing it. Leaving scratch marks and her ace t behind. She wouldn't let anyone take the territory from her without a fight. Getting to the clearing she looked around and howled. Once all her pack but Mag was there she started giving out orders for hunting parties and border patrols. "Oh Emma has anyone seen Magadan today?" She asked her most trusted warrior.
"No last I saw him he was doing border patrol expecting you back for days now." White dismissed and went over to the high rock. She found blood at the bottom and sniffed it. It smelled like Kree had gotten in a fight with Blazing Heart. Where was Mag?
Magadan
While White had been gone, Magadan had done his best to keep the pack in line and ensure their territory was safe and in order for when their true alpha returned. He hadn't been afraid to flash his fangs or get stern with anyone who stepped out of line, and at the same time, Mag had taken time to speak with various pack members to help them with whatever they needed, and just to get to know them better. It had been rather stressful the first few days, but the blue-eyed wolf had not let it show, and after a while he'd started to get the hang of it. Yet still, Mag would stop whenever he had a moment alone and simply listen, hoping to hear White's voice in the distance.
Magadan was making his rounds along the pack's northwestern border today, marking various spots and reinforcing their claim on the land, when he finally heard the voice he'd been waiting for. White was back! Being quite a distance from where she had entered the packlands, it had taken him longer to reach his alpha, and when he finally did, Mag found her atop the high rock. "White?" He smiled as he said her name, and paced slowly forward with his tail waving slowly, "I was starting to worry about you. Is everything well?" He hadn't yet seen the wounds she carried, but he'd surely notice the limp soon enough.
White Light
White turned and smiled at the sight of Mag. "Magadan! Oh yes everything is well. Hows the pack been while I was gone?" She asked her tail wagging. She limped over to him and greeted him with a 'hug'. She looked at the blood and then at Mag. "What happened with Kree and Blazing heart?" She asked. Blaze was her best friend more like her sister then anything. Up close you could see Whites wounds but far away you could only see her limp. She waited for his answer. If Kree had caused more trouble then she would have to vanish him. She couldn't risk anymore chances with Kree. Already she had risked all of the packs lives so she needed him gone if he caused more trouble.
Magadan
Once White started moving towards him, the limp became obvious and Magadan's worry for his alpha grew. Before commenting on it right away, he embraced the hug she gave him by putting his head over across her neck and offering a brief nuzzle. When she mentioned the blood, Mag's ears went back slightly and he looked down at the crimson on the ground, "Unfortunately, I was out hunting when this occurred, so I'm not sure exactly what happened. I've been meaning to speak with Kree however, because his scent here is strong, and I fear that he harmed Blazing Heart." If only he'd caught the fight in action, Magadan would have intervened and disciplined Kree, but he had yet to find the other wolf. Soon, his attention turned back to his alpha's limp though, and now that she was closer, he could see the wounds on her body. "White... what happened?" Mag questioned with worry, and didn't hesitate to dip his muzzle forward and look over one of the wounds, then lick at it.
White Light
White nodded at his words. "Ok I saw Blazing Heart this morning. She was fine except her few wounds on her neck. Shes strong so shell pull through." She said with a slight smile. She winced as Mag licked one of her wounds. She looked at Mag and hos worried reaction. She felt happy he was here as her beta, if he hadn't of been, Kree would of taken over. And she would be dead. She had to think she didn't want to make it obvious it was the big cats but you could kinda tell considering their the only ones that could make that kind of claw marks since wolf's have dull claws. She looked at Mag "I ran into a little trouble on the way back. I was cutting through territories instead of going the long way and a few lions and tigers found me and I was helpless against them. The only way I could escape was to leave the territory immidiatly so when I left I stopped and cleaned my wounds. There was blood everywhere." She said trailing off a little. She looked at him. "So has the pack been staying in line while I was gone?" She asked trying to change the subject.
Lucey
She had never left the packlands unless to report to her own alpha. The falcons' view on White Love as alpha hadn't improved, especially when she left her pack for so long. After hearing her words of being attacked, Lucey landed closer to them, in a tree branch somewhat above their heads. Too bad they didn't kill you. Her words were cold and emotionless as she smirked down at the wolf. She gave no attention to Mag. He was not her intended prey. You'll die soon she thought to herself.
Magadan
He was relieved to hear that Blazing Heart would be okay, but he still intended to check up on her, and apologize for not being their to defend her. The next time he saw Kree, Mag would be sure to punish him for this offense, and let the other male know such behavior was not tolerated in this pack. That would happen in due time - right now, the beta was more concerned with his alpha, and he flicked his ears back apologetically when she winced. "Big cats did this to you?" Looking at the wounds now, it was obvious to him that they had come from the claws of a feline, and he shuddered to think what would have happened if White Love had not gotten away from them. Even as it was, she was wounded badly enough that she limped, and Magadan half feared that Kree might try to use that to his advantage and attack her while she was weak. "If you need to leave the packlands in the future, I-" A voice from above stalled Magadan's words before he could finish them, or reply to her efforts to change the subject. "Who are you?" Immediately he bristled up and offered his fangs to the bird, though he didn't know who she was or what affiliations she may have.
White Light
White nodded. ''Ill be fine. I promise. Mag there wont be a next time because im not leaving but someone is, Kree. Im tired of him being here and trying to take Alpha position. Next time I see him Ill chase him out or kill him. Im not playing anymore with him, he deserves worse then a fight. He will submit and be killed or get chased out and never return. Either way I wont have to deal with one of my warriors getting hurt or you getting hurt'' She said looking at him. When he looked up she snarled at the bird. ''You! You were here before I left!! Where did you come from bird?'' She snarled. She was in no mood for a conversation with a bird but the bird was on White's territory.
Lucey
Lucey listened to them until she came closer so she could mock White. Magadan was the first to notice and respond to her. A smirk rested briefly on her mask before she acknowledged him. This doesn’t concern you, son of Kaiser and Sylar. Was all she said to the hundred thirty pound brute. Her gaze left his white and silvery form to look to White Love. His bristled fur and fangs got no reaction. The snarl from the alpha had the falcon glaring at her with cold eyes. So you aren’t so dim witted. Yes I was here. She didn’t answer the last question for a few minutes as she tilted her head as if to say seriously. An egg? Soft, cold and amused laughter came from her. It was about damn time she got noticed and it was pathetic at how long it took. The words of Kree had her interested though, he could possibly become one of them. Then revenge would be sweet.
Magadan
So it had been decreed, Kree would no longer be tolerated in the pack. It was a decision that Magadan openly welcomed, in a grim, solemn kind of way. Losing a packmember was never a happy event, but it was either do away with Kree, or risk him causing more damage to the pack, "If you would allow it, I'll help you in this task." Though he didn't say it, Magadan was worried that she'd been wounded worse than she already was if Kree fought back, so Mag was more than willing to lend his fangs to the fight. Soon enough, he and White had something entirely else to contend with, and it had drawn Mag's narrowed, amber eyes upwards at the bird.
"...how..?" The snarl on his silver face froze for a beat or two at Lucey's words. How does she know who my parents are?! Suspicion quickly worked through his brain and amped up his growling. When the feathered fiend insulted White, Mag's snarling took on an even deeper note, "What do you want, bird?" Something about her words and that cold, amusing laughter made him very nervous.
White Light & Others
White growled. She swished her tail to silence Mag. She knew by the way the bird looked strait at her that Mag was no part of this and she didnt want him to be part of it. "Alright smartass why dont you tell me what territory!" She said. White looked at Mag and nodded. Once the bird came down White wouldnt be afraid to try and get it. Especially since that bird had offended her. She growled keeping her guard up. She wasnt afraid to fight. Even though she was wounded. Badly. It suddenly came to her. This bird could have affiliations with Sonnet Forest and they were out to kill White. She whipped around. ''Im done with that bird. Come on Mag. I need to make things right between me and a certain pack.'' she said. She didnt want her whole pack involved just her and her beta, mag. She growled to herself as she limped out of the clearing. She looked at Mag. ''I think that bird has affiliations with Sonnet Forest. I was there before I came here. I tried to claim their land and ended up almost in a fight. I have to make things right or this could end in bloodshed. Sonnet has affiliations with the Lurkers though. I need your help, please'' Her voice was pleading at the end. As she kept limping she passed Emma and Snow White. ''White! Magadan! Where are you two going??'' Emma asked. White just shook her head. ''Keep an eye on the pack!''
White was now pissed. Her fur bristling there was one more thing she had to do. She spotted Kree marking borders and she limped/ran full speed she could go at him. She pinned him to the ground and snarled. Showing her fangs. She was pushed out of the way by Dark Flake. She snarled at him which caused him to back up. ''Listen Kree, you either submit and die or I run your ass out! Either way I dont care Im tired of your betrayal!'' She snarled. Kree nodded and lunged. White was just quick enough to get out of the way before lunging at him and missing.
Lucey
Lucey was liking how things turned out and was very interested in this Kree person. The fact that Magadan was going to help fight the unruly subordinate sickened her. The falcon could understand him stepping in for White, but both against one? This bitch must really be weak. When Magadan snarled up at her, she just glanced to him, but his words had her speaking as she looked back to White. Nothing to do with you. Why don’t you go back to Aspen Grove, before the female gets you in trouble. Her words held warning in them. He had every right to be nervous, because trouble was headed their way. White questioned what territory she came from. Smirking now she answered truthfully. Many. The scary part was that it was true. Being a messenger, when not a spy, kept her constantly going between Sonnet Forest allies. One of them being Manahcob Downs and their numerous allies. Which included the Lurkers. And whoever they were friends with. In all honesty went on and on, which is why it should put fear in White. Before she had even got her pack a territory she had made herself a target by many. Lucey had already been going back and forth on Blacksongs orders to inform them of the danger. Hearing White last sentence almost had her calling back out to the wolfess. Instead she saw an opportunity when she turned her back. Lucey flew at her, in a dive, and she attempted to scratch her head with her claws before soaring back up. What makes you think you can make it right?
At that point she flew on to search out for this wolf named Kree. Before she returned back to the packlands. It didn’t take long with White snarling out his name. Landing in another tree, she watched them as Kree agreed to challenge her. Don’t do it. She won’t fight fair! It was obvious that the falcon meant others would be joining in to make him submit and be killed. Her alpha would of accepted the challenge one on one.
Magadan
Once again, Magadan was left with that nervous, apprehensive feeling when Lucey brought up personal information from him. It had been months since he was last part of his family pack, leading Mag to wonder just how long this bird had been spying on them, and who all she had been talking too. He tried to hide his uncertainty behind a snarling facade and narrowed eyes, but perhaps the intensity of his snarling betrayed it anyway; which ever the case, the beta remained silent after getting the signal from White to keep quiet. Even as fear crept into his mind, he stood determinedly beside his leader, prepared to fight for her no matter what the cost, and no matter what odds were stacked against him. Little did he know the odds were incredibly poor, if the Sonnet Forest truly did call upon all of their allies.
When White had had enough of the bird and turned away with a new plan in mind, Magadan went with her. A rush of air and a movement from the side of his eye altered him to Lucey as she made a dive. Mag snarled and snapped at the bird in response, but was a second too late to catch any part of her, and the wolf's teeth snapped close with a terrifying clank of teeth. He bristled hotly and carried on, speaking only after he was sure Lucey had gone. "The Lurkers? I've heard of them from my grandmother. I don't know how big the Sonnet Forest pack is, but if the Lurkers join them, we may be in trouble." Mag thought about this before speaking again, "I'll do anything and everything I can to help. If it comes down to it, my old pack might help." It was iffy though, and Magadan knew it. He'd left the pack on ill terms with their leader Starscream, and wasn't sure if Star would offer support to the Sedge Creek or not. Worse yet, Mag had no idea that his former pack was soon to be under assault themselves, and wouldn't likely be able to spare any help.
Now they reached the edge of the territory where Kree was, and Magadan stood cautiously back while his alpha rushed the troublesome brute. He wanted to join her, but would only do so if White gave him the signal to jump in, or if it looked like White was going to be serious wounded. For the moment, the beta turned his attention to Dark Flake and rushed at the other male, tail high and fangs bared in a clear message - drop to your belly and submit, or prepared to be attacked. In all the rush, Mag flicked an ear back at the sound of Lucey's voice, but didn't have the attention to spare to the bird just yet.
White Light & Others
White nodded at his voice. ''Im already in trouble, I tried to pick a fight with them before I even knew how many animals were protecting them. It wont do any good, one of the lurkers came over here, she said she might be able to help stop this, Im ready to submit to that pack and keep all distance I can if I have to.'' She said. As she looked at him. Now she was ignoring Lucey even when she raked her talons on head.
White looked around her, Mag had kept Dark Flake from attacking her and she was handling Kree. Of course when Kree heard the bird he snapped at White. White showed her fangs and lunged again. This time she had him, she pinned him to the ground and snarled in his face.'' Submit and die or leave forever'' She growled. Kree fought back and knocked White off before lunging and pinning his own alpha down. ''If I die so do you!'' he snarled.
Dark Flake submitted to Mag, too afraid to loose his life to his alpha he turned on his back showing his stomach. Dark kept on his back as Mag snarled at him.
White was dealing with her own problems, Kree kept trying to get to her neck. ''Mag help!'' two simple words that she yelled out so she could get Kree off her, before that, Kree had sunken his teeth in her throat but White had pushed him away, making blood gush out of the bite marks.
Magadan
Something unsettling rested in his gut and sent a bolt a dread down his spine. Their pack was of good size, but if White Love was this this worried about the conflict, the other pack must be of considerable power too. "What ever you chose to do, you know I will support it." Committed and true his word were, even while turmoil swirled in his stomach. Whatever happened, Magadan would stand beside the wolfess that had given him a home.
One last snarl was issued at Lucey before Magdan had to contend with Dark Flake. At 130 pounds, and with the thick fur inherited by his grandfather bristled out, the wolf was truly an imposing sight to behold. The rumble that echoed through his throat was like that of a distant avalanche, warning Dark Flake that if he so much as lifted a fang or attempted to get back up, Mag would attack him. Since he'd gone belly up so quickly though, the beta didn't use his teeth against the wolf - but he stood there snarling until White suddenly called for, "Stay where you are, Dark!" He warned before bounding away from the submitting wolf and barreling for Kree.
A few powerful bounds brought him to the embattled pair, where he could see the frightening gush of blood that was now trailing from his alpha's neck. With a roar of rage, Magadan parted his jaws and plunged for Kree, snapping madly at the other's face...
White Light & Others
Kree was knocked away from White as Mag plunged for him. When Mag's teeth connected with his face. Kree growled and tried shoving Mag off. While snarling and pulling his face away from Mag's jaws. He snapped at Mag's ear. Though it was not deadly if Kree's teeth connected with his ear then Mag's ear would gush out blood. In all this commotion it had brought the attention of Emma and Blazing Heart. Blaze kept Dark where he was as Emma bounded for White. Though White lay on the ground helplessly watching Mag and Kree. Emma saw the blood and rushed to help White. She looked at Mag and then started cleaning White's wound. Licking up the blood and then pressing wet moss on it. She looked at Kree anger and pity in her eyes.
White struggled to get up as Emma came and kept her down to clean the wound. ''I have to help!!'' She protested.
''White no! Your injured you will not be helping the fight!'' Emma ordered her.
Lucey
Lucey felt the hot breath of Magadan when tried to bite her, but his snap fell short. If he had managed to have gotten a hold of her, there would have been no peace for White Love. And that was even if it was currently possible now. The feel of her talons going across White’s head was nice, and once she landed in the branch by the border she inspected for the amount of blood on her black talons.
She was watching the fight below with sharp eyes, feeling kind of sorry for this Kree fellow. He was right to challenge this bitch for leading her pack in such an awful manner. The falcon still couldn’t believe White had deserted them for so long, and for no clear reason in her opinion. So far the fight was going fair, and Mag was busy tending to another member whose name was Dark Flake. Soon though White called out for Magadans help, and it had her feathers ruffling as she called out. Kree she cheats. Run while you can. Submit and die is your only choice here, run and live while you can. Mag was soon barreling down on the other brute though and they were all three in the midst of a fight, until Emma came and got White Love to try and heal her. Her attention went back to the current fight, hoping that Kree had taken her advice. If not, she might be driven to do something that could put her own self in jeopardy.
Magadan
This was the first time the three-year old had ever been in a fight, discounting the usual squabbles between his brother and sister when they were younger. That put him at a slight disadvantage on one side, while his determination and drive to protect White Love compelled the large brute onward to hopefully win the scuffle. Madagan stumbled back slightly when Kree shoved him, blunt hind claws digging at the parched ground for traction. The beta was plunging forward only a second later, his teeth once again going for Kree's face to drive the brute back and force him to submit; and if that didn't work, he'd take the more forceful and potentially fatal approach of going for the other male's neck. In all the chaos of snarls and snapping fangs, he scarcely heard the bird calling to Kree, and he failed to dodge the bite from Kree that tore his ear, sending a rivulet of blood running down it and across the side of his cheek.
White Light & Others
Emma kept White down so she could stop the bleeding. All the while White Light had been trying to get up. When she finally did she jumped up at the bird to try and get her. While Kree kept backing up before he was over the border. Thats when he took off running. ''There bird youve got him now leave my territory!'' she growled and looked at Mag. ''Leave Kree, ill get him one day.'' She said and turned and walked over to Dark Flake. ''You did the good thing of submitting if you hadnt you wouldve died.'' She said and looked at Blazing Hear. ''Blaze, Emma I would like you two to take over for the pack til me and Mag get back.'' she said and Emma and Blaze nodded. She looked back at Mag and nodded.
Lucey
Lucey was silent from then on out as the fight raged below. It wasn't long before the brute called Kree made a run for it, chosing the smarter path. White Light had tried to capture her earlier, but her pitiful efforts to reach the tree only made the bird laught and make cat calls at her. Gladly. I suggest you want your back. With that she took flight and went to report to her alphas.
Magadan
Magadan wanted badly to continue after Kree, but was stopped by White Loves words. He stood snarling, flashing his cruel fangs at the retreating wolf as a stark reminder of what waited for him if he ever tried to come back and harm White or anyone else in the pack. The same look was shot upwards at the bird as she soared overhead, and Mag wanted nothing more than to lunge up and crush her feathered body between his jaws; but Mag restrained himself, knowing that it would only cause more amusement for her. Instead, he glanced at Dark Flake and then to Blaze and Emma, giving the latter two a look of appreciation for their quick arrival and help. Amber eyes then flashed to White Love, whose life had been potentially saved by Emma's quick, smart action in placing moss over the wound. "Are you okay to travel, White?" He was ready to follow her either way, but couldn't help but worry about her wound.
White Love and others
Emma looked at Mag then at White. ''Woah. White, what does he mean travel?! Your in no condition to travel!!'' Emma protested along with Blaze. White growled slightly. ''Im fine emma!'' she snarled slightly. White looked at her paws. ''I just have to do this. I'll be back later me and Mag are going to talk with one of the packs and then possible another pack. We'll be back. You two and Key make sure the pack stays in order and that Kree does not come back.'' She said and looked at Mag.
''Im fine to travel. Lets go. I dont want to waste anymore sunlight, it could be nightfall before we get back.'' she said and looked at him before heading towards the border hearing Emma wish them luck she acknowledged it with a flick of her tail. She was going to make it right. Heading to Sonnet Forest first.
Magadan
Magadan wanted to stand with Emma and Blaze and talk White Love out of the journey, but he didn't feel it was his place to try and order his alpha around. Perhaps if the issue wasn't as important as it was, he'd have tried to talk her out of it, but this wasn't the case.
After he'd nodded to White and began to trot out of the packlands, Magadan tossed a look over his shoulder, back at Emma and Blaze, and gave them both an assuring expression - he'd look after White Love, and make sure her injuries didn't get the better of her.
