Esprit
The dusty gray wolfess took her first step in a long time, onto the softened turf of her old home, the Pyrola Fields. She remembered this place. She had lived here when everything was good. When her and her brother and sister were just pups, and their mother and father ruled proudly. A calm, yet somehow content sigh managed itself, slipping from her wolven lips as her dark eyes looked out across the tundra ground. She took a seat. Now she could clearly smell the scent of horses, and it angered her. Horses. The mangy creatures, nothing but prey. They had taken over her mother's land. She still saw it as her mother's territory, and couldn't think of it as anyone else's. She was going to rule the place someday and no one would stop her. No one could chase her off now. She leaned back onto her haunches and continued to scan the area. She was completely silent, preferring to reflect on a life that had been so dear to her, and a place just as. She wasn't sure what made her suddenly feel this way. She just felt to be a part of the land.
Aalayha
Aalayha was not happy any longer. She was almost due to give birth. She had been rape a second time. This was her second foal and it upset her alot. She saw the wolf but just stared at it with her head fairly low her bell bulging. She then moved slowly toward it. Her voice low and distressed.Hello? I am Aalayha lead mare, what may i do for you?She spoke her ears flicking to the side.
Esprit
Esprit was too lost in her thoughts by now to even realize the approaching mare. Her eyes were closed gently, face lifted to the dull cold skies above. Her nose twitched a moment, eyes snapping open, neck turning with a jerk. She stared hard at the horse, flashing her yellow-tinted fangs for a moment before realizing this equine seemed to mean no harm. As much as she'de hate to talk with someone living in the old territory, it was probably better to try and get along with the new residents. Wow, she hated the thought, but it's probably what her mother would do. At least nowadays, anyway. The crazy old wolfess.
Esprit blinked a couple times, now on her paws, before shaking her head briskly. "No, no, I'm just visiting..." she replied, a bit hastily. "I- used to live here." She breathed in the familiar scents of the earth with a newfound fondness.
Aalayha
She looked to her and listened to her. I see well as long as you mean no harm to my herd you are more then welcome to VisitShe spoke softly.
Esprit
Esprit took a moment to think. If she were Aava, she'de probably be taking this mare on right now for the territory. Esprit felt she knew better though. It was as though she'de been plotting some sinister plan, but in reality, she wasn't sure. The last thing she wanted to do was become fond of the residents. She wouldn't allow herself to become like that. Snorting with a sharp nod, she spun about and seemed to just glide away.
