*Humans*

A group of three humans treck over the tundra, scanning the vast land... each of them has a gun...

FireFly

FireFl, lounging underneath a tre, suddenly caught the scent of the humans in the breze. She became instantly alert and followed the scent. She tudged along until she came in sight of the humans. She only looked for a moment then suddenly spooked. She didn't like humans at all. She had seen what they where capable of and did not like it. She laped into the brush and isued a warning growl to the humans. Somewhere inside her thouh she was almost hopeing they wouldn't here it, even though it spooked a bird from its perch.

*Humans*

One of the humans turned around, but wasn't sure of what he heard. He saw the bird fly from it's perch though. "Hey, Mike. I think there's something over there. D'ya see that bird fly off? Something must of scared it." says the humans. The one dubbed Mike shrugs, but they turn and head towards you, poking around in the brush...

Firefly

Firefly snarled a louder warning but for the moment stayed where she was. Though she was poised to spring away if the need arised.

*Humans*

The human closes to you jumps when you snarl, and dashes over to his nearest budy. The talk nervously amungst themselves, pointing in the direction you are in. One man shoots his gun toward you, and the bullet skims less than an inch by your head, and hits a tree beyond. They wait a moment, seeing if anything will happen; they are too scared to go and see what snarled at them.

FireFly

Just the noise itself scared the living daylights out of FireFly but she stayed still as the bullet zoomed by her. She stumbled out of the brush in sight of the humans. She tried not to look rabid or anything. She lifted her head high and one of her ears flopped over. She hoped her rather small head would help defend her purpose. She set her gaze on the humans her tail in a normal position of that of a stray dog.

*Humans*

One human raised his gun to shoot, but another man pushed it down again, "That's a stray dog, no need to shoot it. Maybe part wolf, but it ain't afraid. It must of been a pet or somethin." The other man shurgged, "Guess so. Ya think it'd make a good pet then? " the man whistles to you, seeing if you will come closer. None of their guns are pointed towards you now.

FireFly

FireFlys ears perked up. She sniffed the air. The whistle sounded interesting to her. She took a few steps foward but then lowred her hed sniffing the air still. She raises her head once more and gave a slight wag of her tail to see how he humans would react to it.

*Humans*

The human who whistled gave a slight grin, "Ah, I was right. It must be a dog, and a tamed one. You 'spose there's a cabin around here that it lives at with its owner?" the other men shrug and one replies, "Possibly. I've never been back here before. If it is someone's dog, you'd best not be take'n it." the other man nods and stands up reluctantly. "Well, here you go, dog." he said, and tossed you a peice of beef jerky, then they men turned and walked off. Your plan worked!

FireFly

FireFly, smug with herself, leaped at the jerky and gobbled it down smacking her lips. She wagged her tail alittle more now and gave a small yip after the humans thn bounded back into the bushes. She rolled around on the ground happily that she had gotten throught the encounter. But she wondered where Silver was.

Silver

+ Allerted by the gun...he moved forward through the grass, he was itterly silent...he saw firefly acting like a dog...and growled....then snapoped his ears back...hoping that the humans haddn't heard it. Turning to firefly...he gave a silent nod...then turned his gaze back to the humans..willing them to leave +

FireFly

FireFlys eyes snapped in Silvers direction. "Humans are weird but they have good food." She smacks her lips a few times. "Don't know what it was but it was good."

Silver

+ He growled sligjtly..and nudged her gently...kindly +

"come on...you look scared stiff.."

+ He licked her cheek evry lightly...his tail swished +

FireFly

FireFly sat down breathing deeply. She closed her eyes and shook her head a few times. A minut later she looked bk up. "I'm sorry Silver. But it isn't everyday a bullet goes whizzing by your head and humans invade your home." She swished her tail, "But I did fool them into thinking I was a dog or something!!"
