Aava & Avril
Aava was helping her daughter Avril back into the territory, where she would be safe until she healed up. The clumsy fae had run right into the path of a bullet, causing it to pierce right through her fore leg and leave out the other side. Instead of actually helping the young fae so much, she was just about dragging her.
Aava's jaws were closed tightly around Avil's scruff, pulling her into the territory and near the center. She found a cluster of trees and bushes with some neat grass and a couple large boulders. There, she dropped Avril down and stared at her with a cold glare. Instead of words, she gave her a few good snaps to the face in warning and then trotted off to take a seat upon a nearby boulder, where she eventually lowered onto her side to lay.
Avril was holding back whimpers of pain. It coursed through her limb and shocked her body. The wound was clear as day, a bloody crimson mess around her leg. Taking in a rough sigh, she simply laid there. Now she had a few scrapes of blood on her muzzle from her mother. At this, she closed her eyes and thought.
Esprit, Aava, & Avril
Esprit soon came dashing back into the territory, carrying the bag of food with her. Inside were hot dogs, hamburgers, leftover chili, slices of ham, and a block of turkey. Everything was still fresh as well. her lithe legs carried her quickly to the area where she could smell her mother and sister, and upon finding the scene, her auds pricked and she took in the sight. Halting, she found a small rock and placed the bag on it, ripping the plastic open with her teeth. "It was a good catch today." she simply stated, secretly wondering what had happened to Avril. However, she kept shut. She knew Aava wouldn't like telling her. She didn't want to know.
At the sound of her older daughter's voice, the wolfess lifted her head and licked her chops. A legendary's work was never done, and she needed her energy now of all times. Leaping down from the large boulder, she came forward quickly and, like a bolt of lightning, shot her jaws forward and snatched a piece of ham and a hot dog. Then she turned and hopped back up to the top of the boulder. There, she began feasting away, ripping at the meat with her sharp fangs.
Avril only looked up meekly from her position, glad that her sister was at least okay and seemingly out of trouble. Now she knew how dangerous those two-leggeds could be. Slowly easing herself up onto her paws, holding her wounded limb up, she limped over, and gently took away some ham and ripped free a chunk of turkey. There she sat, and quietly began eating.
Esprit waited until last, making sure they got something and then taking something that was still sitting there. She took a bit of everything, and then layed there silently. The food was great.
Esprit
Esprit, finally finished with her meal, turned and stalked off.
Aava
Aava soon stood and hopped from her rock, bounding off slowly into the bushes to leave the terra for a while.
