Vivek
The alpha male had been gone for a while, purposely separating himself from the ones he loved, to protect them. It was a strange story, but he was glad to be back now; or, hoped so anyway.
The alpha was glad to pick up the scent of his mate, and now he threw his head upward and howled loudly, hoping that she would hear.
White Eclipse
The large white beta brute, with his dial held high, and banner, stalked fourth from the shadows. Once he realized who it was, he yelped and jumped forward, hurling himself at Vivek. He stopped short though, not actually meaning to do anything anyway. "Vivek?" he asked, auds pricked. Since his sister left the terra he had been keeping guard. Being a 'lower alpha' had it's ups and downs. "I thought you were going to be gone forever. So did Aava... Is that why you are here? To return and stay with us once again?" he asked, a light grin apon his strong but now soft features. His banner wagged just a tad, showing some happiness.
Vivek
Vivek jumped, nearly falling over when White Eclipse made his mock rush. His nerves were a bit on end as it was, but Vivek's good nature shown through and he offered a grinning smile, "Good to see you." Then his features grew a bit more serious, "I can't appologize enough for being away..." Vivek glanced to a small, partially healed wound on his right paw. It was no more than a tiny bite from a young fox, but it had kept him away from the pack. Well, not the bite, but what he feared the bite might have carried. Rabies. The fox had carried a strange scent, and the wound had been so slow to heal, that Vivek feared he was infected. It has been a long while since the bite though, and Vivek eventually left his fears subside. He was not infected afterall.
"Ah, I am here to stay. Where's Aava, and the others?" A small light of worry shone in his eyes, but he could detect his mate's scent, and knew she had been here not too long ago. But of his offspring; he did no scent them.
White Eclipse
White Eclipse grinned back. "Well, there's not much to worry, but there's not much to put aside..." he said, sighing, "Aava is fine, I believe. She left a while ago. Your pups we haven't seen in a long while. She went out to try and find them. Probably not having much luck. She left me here on guard duty for the territory while she's away. You've worried her something awful but I'm sure she'll be okay once she knows your alright." he said, taking a quick glance down to the bitten paw. How strange... Ahh, oh well. At least it wasn't life-threatening.
Vivek
He gave a big sigh, getting confirmation that Aava was indeed alright. But his fears about the three pups weren't at all allayed, and new fear began to rise in him about their fates, "They have been missing?! Mind watching the terra a bit longer, while I try to find them?" Vivek rumbled quietly, angered with himself, "I don't know how, but I'm really going to have to make this up to Aava." He felt realy bad about being away so long, and was bound determined to make up for it.
White Eclipse
White Eclipse nodded with a faint smile. There was a sad faraway look in his eyes. "I don't mind." he said, forcing himself to smile, "Anything for family." He sat back on his haunches, watching Vivek closely. Something told him that this was going to be one rough ride for everyone.
Vivek
Another pang of worry hit the alpha when White Eclipse seen mells than enthused. Oh no, I've really screwed up, haven't I?' He thought glumly to himself. But the thought of seeing his mate stirred the wolf and he spoke briefly with his brother in 'law'. "Thank you, I'll be back soon; I hope." The alpha brute took his leave, heading away to try and find his mate and young.
