Vivek, Bagre, & Eventine

While Vivek lay stretched out on a low knoll, two of his pups played below. His eyes slowly crept close, but his ears, laying lax at the moment, heard every noise the young ones made. His body, also at rest against the ground, was finely attuned to picking up vibrations and movements of things near at hand. He may look unguarding, but looks could be decieving.

Eventine snuffed at the ground, finding a little colony of earwig bugs under a peice of bark. Her ears were pressed forward as she stuck her hindquarters in the air and dropped her front end to the ground. Her lips wrinkled back and her nose went to the ground again, sniffing at the scattering bugs.

Bagre pretended not to see, knowing that his sister was silently trying to get his attention. He pawed excitedly at the ground, as if he had found something interesting, although he didn't. It wasn't until he heard a yelp that he turned his head back to his sister. She had jumped back, pawing at her nose. "It bit me!" she whimpered pitifully.

Bagre trotted dutifully over and sniffed about at the ground, "Dang, sis. They aren't that big at all!" he pawed at the fleeing bugs and watched as they curled their back ends up like squirpions, showing off their little pinchers. "Serves ya right for nosing about at them like that. Didn't ya see there pinchers?"

She scrunched up her face at Bagre, "Yes you big oaf! Of course I saw there pinchers... just didn't think they were anything strong." She sniffed daintily and stuck her noise in the air and slanted her eyes, striking and elegant pose. "Anyway, I don't wanta bother with those old bugs anyway. Were's Esprit?"

Bagre shrugged, "Dunno. Call for her. We could play a game or somethin'."

Eventine rolled her eyes, "Would you ever talk normal?" But taking his advice, the youngster called for her sister in a high-pitched howl.

Aava & Esprit

Aava walked in, immedietly catching the scent of Vivek and the other pups. Esprit followed pitifully, what a life she was living! She had already seen a whole bunch of other wolves, plus a huge dog! She snorted when she seen her siblings. She quickend her slow pace and jogged up to them. "Hiya!" Her voice rumbled.

Aava watched Esprit speed up. She walked faster to catch up. She eyed Vivek. She sat near him, looking at him. "Hello. Esprit had her first encounter with other wolves and a dog." She let a small grin spread her maw as she looked to Esprit.

Vivek, Bagre, Eventine

Bagre and Eventine quickly turned towards their sister. Bagre was first to chime up, "Hiya!" he turned his head towards his parents and cocked it to the side, listening to their talk, "Say, you've met some others? What was it like!" His eyes were wide and curious.

Eventine tried to remain aloof, but the intrigue was too great. She inched in closer to listen.

Vivek raised an eye, "Is that so?" He let a tugging grin catch on his muzzle as well, "No harm then? Who were these fellows she met?" Safety was the first thing that came to his mind. Of maybe he knew these wolves or dogs.

Anaru

Anaru seems to be following Aava for the moment, not sure where to go and she is his alpha, so who better to keep beside than her to meet the other pack members. He sits down a little bit away from the other two wolves though and watches them, not really listening to the conversation.

Vivek

The alpha male stood suddenly, spotting the stranger he had not met. Scents told him that he had already encountered Aava though, so Vivek didn't fret too much. Nonetheless, he expanded his ruff and raised his banner tall, "Who are you?" Vivek questioned, eyeing Anaru cautiously and stating his dominance without being too overbearing about it.

Anaru

The brute was suddenly quite aware of the alpha male as he arose. Anaru curls his tail and lowers his ears a little in a show of respect to Vivek. "My name is Anaru." His orbs and auds are both focused on the other male now.
