Aava, Esprit
Aava padded in, looking back again to make sure Fita was following. She stopped and sat, licking her paws.
"Welcome to Pyrola Fields. My brother, White Eclipse, and my mate, Vivek, live and thrive here alone, including Esprit, Bagre, and Eventine, the pups. It is great to have someone new here."
She wagged her tail slightly again, her eyes narrowing. She howled for her pups, but Bagre and Eventine wouldn't be back for a while.
A while later, a pup bounded down from a mountain side and dashed to her mothers' side. She was dusty gray in color with spirited brown eyes that really lit up the terra.
"Say hello to Fita." she said to Esprit while wagging her tail again.
"Hey."
Her voice rummbled.
Esprit wagged her small tail again, too. She liked to be like her mother. She just continued to sit there. She was loyal, for a fact. She shut her eyes tight and stuck up her head and straightened her small back to look like a fancy wolf. She opened her tiny mouth a little and then started taking in the scent of Fita.
Fita
Trailing slightly behind Aava Fita looked around. The scent of many flowers arose to her nose. Breathing in she tried to gather information from everything around her. She nodded as Aava told her the names of the others that lived, then waited for her pups to arrive. Soon a single pup came, supposing the others where somewhere else she bent her head down to inspect and sniff Esprit. "Hello little one." She said softly, wagging her tail, looking back up at Aava she said. "She's so beautiful, you're really lucky."
Aava, Esprit
Aava nodded.
"Life hasn't always been easy for me until I found this terra. My brother eagerly agreed to join as the Beta male. I wonder where he is?"
Her tail stopped wagging and she listened to the surroundings, the birds, bugs, and distant sounds of animals. Her ears perked when Esprit poked her in the back with her cold nose. She turned and nudged her. Turning back, she sighed.
"Taking care of pups can be hard. You have to go everywhere with them, and protect them from dangerous or threatening preditors. So, tell me, do you have any pups of your own?"
Her eyes narrowed again.
Esprit nodded too and then turned. She sniffed for her brothers' scent. She couldn't smell it clearly, but could still smell it. She lifted her paw and howled. She turned back and started licking her paws.
"When can we leave again?" she asked, her voice again rumbling. Her tone was excited and she started to wag her tail.
Aava looked back to Fita.
"We were just out looking around. She has much yet to learn, and I want to make it clear about the humans. I won't be bothering with them anymore, at least until the pups are old enough to be on their own, or when Vivek can watch them."
She started thumping her tail on the ground. She looked back down to Esprit that was peacefully curled into a ball of dusty gray.
Vivek, Bagre, & Eventine
Bagre had gotten sidetracked on his trek back to the territory. But it wasn't long after Esprit entered that the all-black pup came bounding down the same trail, heading as fast as his little legs could carry him towards the three. Gathering a little too much moment coming down the hill, the ebony pup trips and goes tumbling. Picking himself unharmed but embarrassed, he slinks over to his mother and sister and peers up at Fita. "Hello. I'm Bagre."
Vivek also appears soon after, scenting his mate and the stranger. He approaches with his head and tail held high, but with an otherwise friendly expression.
Eventine trots dutifully behind her father. The sun glimmers on her snowy-pelt, flecked with tan and gray. Leaving her father's side, the pup approaches Fita and looks up curiously at her.
Fita
Already she was starting to like this place it was much different from her old pack lands. "No, I've never had pups." Looking up she saw the black pup followed by what she took to be his father and his sister. Smiling she replyed to him. "Hello, my name is Fita." She passed her eyes over Vivek and the final pup Eventine.
Aava & Esprit
Aava turned, happy to see her mate and their other pups. She angled herself so that Fita and Vivek could both be in her view. But, trying to play, Esprit sneaked up on Bagre, low playful growls emitting from her tiny throat. She sprung up and hoped she would tackle him...
Aava watched as Esprit went to tackle Bagre.
"Settle."
She turned her eyes to Vivek.
"This is Fita. We met at Tall Grass Prairie. She will be joining our pack. Anyway, have you seen White Eclipse anywhere?"
She was eager to find her brother. He had such big plans... To big for her, oviously. Her tail stopped wagging and she stood up. She walked to Vivek but stopped halfway. She turned back to Fita.
"I have one question. Do you wish to be Omega or Subordinate? Either is fine. I hope you can make a good living here."
She turned to Vivek.
"Well I suppose everyone is hungry? I can drag over one of the caches?"
She could feel her stomach rumble and grumble. She felt guilty for almost 'starving' herself. She hadn't eaten in the longest time. It was past time that she filled her stomach.
Vivek, Bagre, & Eventine
Vivek turned to Fita, "Welcome to the pack." he greeted before responded then to his mate, "Yes, I'm quite famished." the alpha grinned, "A meal sounds very good right now. Do you need any help dragging it over?"
Bagre gave a grunting yelp, finding himself plowed over for the second time by his sister. "Hey!" he and squirmed around, trying to tag her ear or muzzle with a playful bite.
Eventine watched the two with her tail wagging slowly and her head tilted to the side.
Fita
Her pale gaze swept over the other wolves. "I don't mind what I am, just as long as I am accepted into the pack." She had never been bothered about ranks, all her life she had just wanted to be accepted into another's way of life. She watched the pups play for a while before saying. "Yes, I am a bit hungry."
Aava & Esprit
Aava shook her head.
"Nah, I can bring back something... Hmmm. Do you want fawn or calf? It really doesn't matter. The lamb was stolen."
Her head tilted to the side, awaiting his answer. Her stomach growled again. She didn't want to food to go to waste, and she was very sure that nobody was in the mood to go hunting.
She turned to Fita.
"Okay. You will start out as a Omega, and as you progress, you will become Subordinate."
Esprit rolled back when her brother managed to tag her muzzle. She squirmed around and finally found secure footing again. Once she was on her paws, she turned around quickly and leapt at him, hoping to tackle him down again...
Aava
Aava qucikly turned, not waiting for anybodies words. She quickly raced off to get a cache.
