Nightcrawler

The ebony-hued wolf re-entered the pack lands with his tail held down at its respectable position. He howled for his alphas, telling them there was a wolfess seeking acceptance into the pack. His tone was hopeful and betrayed no hint of worry or uncertainty.

Alder Whisper

Alder Whisper followed alongside the male, posture matching his, eyes lowered except to use for notices when NightCrawler slowed, stopped, or continued forthward.

The silver-and-black four year old stayed with Nightcrawler, calm and quiet, but butterflies crowded her stomach. She felt confident with his information upon this pack, hopeful to be able to join them. She had trust in him, and his alphas already, though had yet to meet them.

She gave him a small smile, and a small wag of her tail; she was all right, confident, she saying, to both he and herself. Still, she held herself in a submitted posture; her tail was closer to her gradually-blackening legs than usual. Sky-blue orbs flickered, gazing around, familiarizing herself with the territory; becoming one with it helped her, comforted her further.

Tornado & Vivek

After baying his father goodbye, the alpha headed swiftly for where Nightcrawler called. He hoped that his mate would respond there as well for he was begining to worry about her whereabouts. By the time he came across the two, his tail and head were raised high to exclaim his high status in the pack. His ruff was also expanded to back-up his posing. After giving a nod to his pack member in greeting, he turned to Alder Whisper. "I am Tornado, the alpha of these lands." he introduced first before asking the next question, which was an obvious one, "You wish to join our pack?" His features were stern and held authority, but not devoid of curiousity and a gentle gleam.

Tornado's son, who was filling out to adult size by now, stood to the side and slightly behind his father. His expressions clearly showed curiousity as well as excitement. He wanted to introduce himself, but knew to wait until his father was finished.

Kivo

The pit bull followed after Tornado and Vivek with a high degree of interest. His thick, blunt muzzle carried the smiling-grin that was classic of his breed. His white, lanky tail waved from side to side in a friendly way. Having seen the others' reactions to the wolfess, Kivo was more than happy to make friends with her; that was his predominant nature.

Alder Whisper

Alder Whisper nodded to the alpha male, after a swift, easy bow, and a look away with her eyes; she showed both submittance and trust. She chose her tones carefully.

"Yes, Good Alpha.. Your pack member," she said, addressing with a small glance and smile towards Nightcrawler, "says a great deal of Good of you, and your pack.. Humans do not bother me, for they are all different-as I told him of my opinions, they are like us, each personality different.." She noticed his company, and the pitbull; she sent warm expressions to them both, in greeting. She knew not to break off the conversation with an alpha so good at leading and choices as he seemed to be.

"But yes.. I wish to join.." She realized how much she had said a moment before, and blushed slightly, greatful that her silvered fur didn't quite show it. She sat down, slightly uncomfortable with herself; she hoped he wouldn't think her a talker, as she was normally apart of the shadows, quiet and cautious, though caring and protective when need be. She sent another glance and smile at Nightcrawler, hopeful, still nervous, but she showed her confidence. She looked back to the alpha, holding her own posture proudly, but lower than his own, in submittance. She awaited his response patiently, expression calm and 'quiet' like.

Tornado & Vivek

Tornado listened patiently to her response, undoubtedly pleased with what she had to say. He carefully studied her words and slight movements, trying to build at most just a faint picture of her normal attitude and what she was like. No demeaning or threatening things, even in the least bit, had been picked up from Alder Whisper by the alpha.

Before saying anything about her acceptance, the alpha spoke up briefly on the topic of humans, "I see he has told you of the humans." Tornado gave a nod in Nightcrawler's direction while keeping his light eyes on Alder Whisper, "I am begining to find that they are like us. Different personalities; some are killers and some are healers. Some are in between, it seems." Tornado pointed out, after recalling the deaths of his pack members and the split up of his original pack from humans. And then those who seemingly went out of their way to help. Still others seemed highly intruguied. "Within our territory," Tornado added on, saying 'our' as a source of unity to his listening pack members, "we regard humans with suspiscion and keep from their sight until they leave. Dangerous humans are led out of the territory if they don't leave soon enough on their own." After his rocky past with humans, he would be sure they wouldn't cause any more damage. Now the alpha took a deep breath, finished with his little speech and having his mind made up. "Welcome to the pack. My mate, Aliyyah, will still have to meet you, but I know you will be accepted by her as well."

Vivek glanced at his father. Seeing he was finished speaking, the young wolf came forward with curious ears held upward, "Hiya, I'm Vivek! And this is Kivo." he shouldered the dog playfully while looking towards Alder Whisper.

Alder Whisper

Alder Whisper smiled her thanks to the alpha, as the younger was speaking to her. Her expression was still very pleased, and through his talk, she had nodded in agreement and took the one bit of the human-information as a rule; it made perfect sense to her.

Still smiling, she looked down at Vivek. "Hello, then, Vivek," she said, eyes brighter; more friendly members..that was a definate sign. She knew she had made the right choice, in coming to see if she would be accepted into the pack. She had a home..

"I am Alder Whisper," she continued. She shifted to become more comfortable. "How are you, my young friend?" Her tone had gone softer to talking to him, but was careful not to upset him; she knew not of his age, and still pups were to be respected a bit as well. It toned down a bit, going into a more adult-sounding voice. "And you as well, Kivo?" she said, addressing both the dog and Vivek as if they were family, warm and kind still.

Upon waiting their answers, she glanced again at NightCrawler. She beamed at him a bit, a strong smile now replacing her softer one. She had been accepted into the pack he belonged; this made her equally happy, not to mention a pack to be proud of. She felt it in the air, as with her heart and mind. She hoped he was as happy as she, at least a little; he had seemed eager to bring her here.. To her, already he was a close friend.. She made them easily and quickly. She felt warmth to the alpha, though that was her usual meeting-standards, and to the bright-spirited Vivek. The pitbull seemed friendly, and Whisper hoped it was so.

Nightcrawler

He had listened and watched the encounter with the pack wordlessly. Now he stood and flashed a smile back at Alder Whisper when she smiled at him. The way he held himself now showed a renewed confidence and a greatly relaxed attitude. In the comfort and safety of the pack Nightcrawler felt at ease; and with Alder Whisper now a part of the family, he found a new sense of joy.

He glanced to Kivo and then Vivek next, wondering where the other youngsters of the pack were. Again he looked to Alder Whisper, "Would you like to take a tour of the lands? Or," his yellow eyes shifted questioningly to Tornado before returning to the fae, "go on a hunt?" He knew hunting as a pack always strengtheded their bonds of trust and loyalty, but maybe she wanted to get to know the place first.

Kivo & Tahirah

"Doing good." he replied merrily to the fae, wagging his tail still and pulling his floppy ears back appeasingly. Those floppy white ears perked up when his good friend mentioned hunting. Kivo had yet to hunt big game with the pack. "Ooo, sounds like fun!" Kivo rung out in a yipping voice. He was young adult, but his personality was still puppish and enthusiastic.

Moments later, Kivo's sister arrived, trotting casually up to the group. She was a touch larger than her brother and had a cloud-gray face with a white body. She had heard enough on her approach to know what had happened and what was in question. A friendly smile crossed her broad muzzle as she looked from her old pack mates to the newest one. Her head dipped slightly in a visual greeting to the wolfess, "Nice to meet you; I'm Tahirah, Kivo's sister."

Alder Whisper

Whisper smiled. "Hello, Tahirah.. I am Alder Whisper, Whisper for short," she added. She dipped her maw in return, then turned back to NightCrawler.

She had slight trouble in hiding her happiness. She nearly pranced in place; a hunt always excited her, always sharpened her senses and added a thrill. Still, getting to know the lands could be just as informational, as exciting as a hunt. "Either is fine, my good friend," she replied, tone calm and normal for her, but it tugged at her feelings. The sky-blue orbs of hers gleamed slightly, a small, contented smile still upon her maw.

Tornado & Vivek

Tornado was casually listening to them all introduce themselves; he was waiting patiently for his mate and daughter, and the others of course. When mention of a hunt came up, the alpha aknowledged the group again, "Lets rally the pack and head for our game trails. A hunt will be good for everyone." Tornado aimed his light-gray muzzle upward and began a strong howl, summoning his pack for a hunt.

"I'm doing fine." Vivek replied in a friendly tone to Alder Whisper's first question, then listened as Kivo and Tahirah spoke. And now they spoke of hunting; very exciting indeed! Vivek added his voice to the hunting song. His voice sang out a touch higher than his fathers but would be deeper when he got older.

Alder Whisper

Whisper shifted; she would remain quiet until Nightcrawler added in his piece, as she was just rather fitting 'into place.' She adjusted her tones, in a sense, ringing up tones for pack-use she had used so long ago.

Nightcrawler

Eager to join in, Nightcrawler voiced out his own howl that was very melodic. It hung in a note below Tornado's. He glanced at Alder Whisper while howling and squinted his eyes in a smiling way.

Alder Whisper

Alder smiled, moving to sit next to Nightcrawler. She rose her own bit then, in full comfort. Her own tone was like a story of moods and feelings; woeful at the begining, the feeling of loss and uncertainity; then happiness at the finding of a new friend, finally leading to peace and a useful, purpose-made sounds.

She harmonized with Nightcrawler, still feeling closest to him. After all, and still, he was the first wolf she had even met in these strange lands. She enjoyed the singing, thanking whomever had blessed her so.

Tornado & Vivek

Tornado continued his song for a long while, listening to the others ad to the chorus. He waited in patience and then longing for his mate and daughter to join in; where were they? After the hunt he'd have to seek them out. The others too were on his mind, for he hadn't seen most of them since the last time the humans attacked. He didn't want to show his distress to Alder Whisper now, so he hid it as best as he could. Quite abruptly, Tornado ended his howl. With one last look around, he lead his pack to their Game Trails.

Vivek was also worried about the others, but not as much as his father was. He was too excited for the hunt now! Finishing his song, he grinned at Kivo and Tahirah before headed after his father.

Winters Night

She entered and followed the others to the game trail.
