Black Feather
A piercing falcon's cry shatters any silence there might have been in the area. The peregrine falcon soars over the land, casting a swift shadow over it. His cry comes for again, calling desperately for his friend, Darkstorm. He hadn't seen him since the storm.
*Ferro and Diavolo*
The two young cougars were the only two out of the four that had survived the blizzard, and they looked up at the sound of the falcon's call. Ferro moved stiffly towards her brother, nudging him awake. Diavolo and Ferro padded towards Black Feather, meowing softly. The other two had died.
Black Feather
He lands hard, sending up a small cloud of fluffy snow. He didn't much care for these big cats, but he was lonely. Black Feather roused his feathers and looked up at the cougars, "Have you seen Darkstorm lately?"
*Ferro and Diavolo*
Ferro shook her head. "No, not since the blizzard, we 'aven't." Diavolo also shook his head.
Black Feather
He sighs, and looks around in discontent. "What about the rest of you? Weren't there more of you cats before?" the falcon looks from Ferro to Diavolo.
*Ferro and Diavolo*
Diavolo nodded. "Yes, our brother and sister perished in the storm." He bowed his head slightly. "Perhaps the wolf did as well." Ferro suggested, gazing around the terra.
Black Feather
"I'm sorry for you." the falcon offered quietly at hearing of their loss. He didn't want to think that Darkstorm had died in the blizzard, but it didn't seem too unlikely. "I wonder if there are any wolves left here!" Black Feather said after a moment, then leaped up and thrashed his wings hard to gain lift. "I'm going to scan the area." he said, then soared higher and glided over the land.
