Crucifix

Crucifix lead his sister and family, slowing when needed for the pups. welcome home black and pupsHe said his tail wagging now.

Black felt so much safer now that her brother found them. So even if the humans tried to come for them they might have trouble.

Rephaim and Neferyt looked around and then started running.

Naiche

Any thoughts of playful revenge against her brother were merrily dashed when she found out they were moving. She'd obediently bounded up behind her mother, and followed her as they left behind the tall grasses of the open Prairie, to the shorter vegetation and multitudes of spring-flowering plants of the meadows. She had to stop several times, exhausted by the long journey, but would eventually pick back up and bounce after her expanded family until they'd at last reached the Parnassian Meadows.

Naiche spent several minutes sniffing at the different flowers in the area before joining her siblings in running about. Nevermind that her muscles were crying for a break, this was new land, and it must be explored!

Taiya

The coywolf happily sidles up beside Crucifix on the journey from the prairie. Periodically, she would glance back at the spirited pups frolicking along with Black. Ears pricked and brown eyes glimmering, Taiya can't help but break out into a run as they near the territory. After a short distance, she wheels around and waits patiently for the rest to join her. Her tail sashays about as they come to a halt, the coywolf gazing out over the territory. "Home," she nearly purrs. "Welcome home."

Crucifix

He may of only gotten a few members but Taiya was the first and he was beginning to feel something for her. He knew what he would ask her later though as she seemed ot want to hang with the pups. He brought them all to the inner part of the territory and sat down.

Rephaim and neferyt began to explore

Black came and sat beside her younger brother.Your gonna ask her to be your mate aren't you?She could see it in crucifix way of watching taiya and his body language spoke miles. He glanced at his sister.I amHe said.

Naiche

The youngster was oblivious to the love in the air, and was only interested in the river that she had blundered across. Never before had she seen so much water, and moving so quickly! Out in the prairie, it was her mother's milk that quenched her thirst, and the occasional puddle after a storm. But this, this was something very new!

The roar of the water had at first been frightening, but as she got closer, Naiche was mesmerized by it. She winced as her pads touched down in freezing water at the edge of the river, but did shy away from it. She took another step forward, her paw descending a few inches into the turbulent waters, where she could feel the tug of the current against her fur. "Reph, come look! Look what I found!"

Taiya

Trailing the pups at a short distance, Taiya took to sniffing the ground as the young pups explored the land. For a moment, the coywolf felt transported back into her adventurous youth while in the presence of Black's pups. Her tail wags wildly about, the she-wolf slipping through the grass before joining Naiche only a short distance down the shores of the river. The waters are rushing this time of year after melting snows and spring thunderstorms. Taiya gazes out over the body of water, captivated by the steady roar of waves. Brown eyes flicker towards the pups, several lengths up the river. "Naiche, be careful, please," She calls out to the pup, voice thick with concern.

Rephaim

Rephaim runs after his sister and Also has his little paws in the river. He was tempted to challenge his sister but then Taiya words. He huffed but didn't go in any further.

Neferyt on the other hand had been chasing a butterfly blindly and Ended up too far in and yelped as the riveer begn to sweep her away. Crucifix however; was quick on his feet and leaped in and grabbed her. He dragged her out and shook himself off.

Blackened ran to her daughter.

Naiche

Naiche slapped her paw against the water, sending a spray of the icy liquid splashing about. No longer caring about the biting cold of it, the pup reared back and slammed both paws down next, spraying water over herself and her brother, "Betcha you can't make a bigger splash than me." She taunted him with a smirk, muscled coiled for another go. She had caught Taiya's warning, and it gave her pause enough not to wade any further into the water, but the little pup didn't yet have the wisdom to truly fear the power of a river.

She was above to splash a third time when Neferyt's yelp caught her attention, and in the blink of an eye, her sister disappeared into the roiling waters. Before the wide-eyed pup could even react, their uncle was flying past and diving into the waters to snag the errant youngster out of death's clutches, with Blackened rushing to the scene just as quickly. Startled, Naiche blinked and looked between the adults, and then to her brother. "Did the water... just try to eat Nefy?"

Taiya

The pups were lucky for Crucifix's swift reflexes. Taiya couldn't wade through the waters quick enough to close the distance before Crucifix hauled Neferyt to the shore. Once they're safe, Taiya approaches them, shaking the icy water off of her coat. The river was both a friend and foe, and Taiya had seen firsthand the treachery of water when overlooked. Born and raised on a watery territory, Taiya learned early on not to discount the power of the element.

"Water is a friend and a foe, little one," Taiya explains to the shaken Naiche.

Blackened Song

Blackened took Neferyt to where Crucifix said was aden and just began grooming the shaking wet pup who just curled into her mother.

Rephaim yelped as his other sister fell in and he had begun running the edge when Crucifix pulled his sister out. He followed his mother worried.

Crucifix shook his pelt out and told Black where she could find a suitable den. He watched Rephaim take off after them.Naiche go with your motherhe said calmly. He knew Blackened needed her pups close after that.taiya can I talk to you?He asked and then began to walk the edge of the river.So i know we haven't known each other long, but the way you are with pups and everything. I was wondering if you would be my mate and therefore alpha female?He asked.

Naiche

Naiche remained planted where she was, her body glued into place by fear and uncertainty while Rephaim dashed down along the bank after Crucifix. She was still trying to wrap her little mind around what had happened when Taiya approached and offered her wisdom to the youngster. The pup looked up, her gaze wide, "She just.. disappeared in there!" She didn't quite have a concept yet of how deep the river was, but at least Neferyt's accident had instilled a healthy respect for the potentially deadly element, and with Taiya's warning fresh in her mind, Naiche was far less likely to repeat her sister's mistake.

When given a command by Crucfix, Naiche obediently complied. Her muscles sprang into action, and she bounded after Rephaim to join her mother and sister.

Taiya

There's a waver of sympathy that rushes through the she-wolf as she nods softly to the stunned Naiche. The lessons came as shocks, but when engrained early, they made for smart adults in the future. Taiya nudges Naiche softly before Crucifix's voice snaps her to attention. The black she-wolf's tail sashays back and forth as she bounds alongside the large brute, hopping over a fallen branch. Her tongue lolls as she comes to a halt, listening to Crucifix. Too caught up in the elation of the recent events, between finding Crucifix, gaining a home, and now gaining an extended family, Taiya had not expected the invitation. His words hit her by surprise, the she-wolf breathless with momentary shock. "Wait...me?," she exclaims, her jaw unhinging. "I mean, wow...that sounded really dumb, Taiya...." She scolds herself outloud, a heat creeps along her skin as she nervously laughs. "What I meant was...of course!"

Crucifix

Perhaps some would say he was rushing things, but ever since he ran into Taiya he had felt a connection with her, whether it was random thing or had to do that their pasts were fairly similar who knew but he knew what he had to do and that make her his mate and therefore by default alpha female. He chuckles at her response. When she finally accepted he was rather speachless for alittle. His tail then wagged and he nuzzled her in response.Im gladHe finally responds.

Taiya

The coywolf gazes at Crucifix with mounting elation, her tail moving in tandem with his own joyous wagging. Years ago, she would've never toyed with the thought of building a family. After losing most of hers after the wars, and spending the better part of the last few seasons roving on her own, Taiya thought she would live and die such a way. But now, here they were. She had a new home, a new family, and a new mate. Not paying heed to the rush of timing, Taiya couldn't even entertain the time to care. Neither of them were getting younger. She'd rather rush in like a fool that bide her time when the biological clock in her brain was already limited.

Taiya extends her muzzle to brush against Crucifix's, mahogany eyes glimmering with excitement. "Well, I'm...glad," she breaths gently, her voice hardly above an excited whisper. "I promise, I'll be a slight-above-average partner in crime." A willy grin creases the coywolf's face as she laughs.

Crucifix

Crucifix had had a mate in the past, her name was Zenyetta, he had pups with her and couple other females. But like the rest all of them had vanished. He could sit to dwell on the past. Taiya, she was different and even thoug their families had been on opposite ends in the war it was now time to unite.

He nuled her back. Im sure you'll make a great alpha and a great mother when the time comeshe said.
