Adanya, Hondo, Eshe, Denisha, and Bahiti

Adanya had done her best to help keep the pride supplied with food, taking whatever opportunity that presented itself to help with hunting or just going out on her own to hunt. Today was one of the days she was just relaxing, though. The pride had been fed and it was time to sun herself...

Hondo was playing around with Eshe, swatting at her gently.

Eshe tackled Hondo as he lay down on her level and began biting his ear.

Denisha was growing quite large in her time here, though it was not just good meals that had caused her to grow. Instead it was the cubs that she would soon give birth to. She was laying on a nice flat rock, sunning herself as her tail flicked against the surface.

Bahiti too was growing much larger with new life. She walked over to the lake that was closest to where they were all resting and lowered her head so that she could get a drink...

Sideskill & Sundown

Sideskill and his twin brother were new to the pack, having just recently been invited in by Mufasa and Scar. Though the hybrid felines looked little alike and often bickered like enemies, they were as close to one another as the two lead males of the pride were. Sideskill was busy patrolling around the territory to get a feel for the new land, while Sundown flopped down under an oak tree to nap in the shade and escape the blazing heat of the summer sun.

"C'mon Sun, I smell the females! Mufasa said they had cubs, and I want to see them." Sideskill pestered his brother.

Sundown's response was to lay his head back against the parched grass and close his eyes. "Go knock yourself out, Bro. I'll visit with the females once I've had my rest."

Sideskill rolled his eyes, but knew pestering Sundown any more wouldn't get him anything but a slap from one of his massive paws, and maybe a bite, if he pushed his larger sibling too far. "Suit yourself, I'm gonna go play with cubs and chat with the ladies." Or so he thought he was. The bold but cheerful male didn't know that many pride females could be hostile to new males, especially if they had cubs. Blissfully unaware if Adayna and the others were temperamental or not, Sidesill stalked across the vast meadow, and soon came in sight of the group. Bright eyed and bold, the 510 pound hybrid continued padding closer, until he was near enough for his voice to be heard, "Hello, there."

Sarabi

Sarabi was the oldest in the pride as well as the top female. She had taught most of the females excluding the new ones. She knew Mufasa and Scar had allowed two hybrid males to join but they had yet to be warned properly and Sarabi was just waiting for the two to get up and come to them.

So when one of them finally showed and spoke she knew they were not use to prides so she decided to make it clear that one toe out of line involving the cubs would be a bad move and so she got up and stalked toward him and without warning lunged at him. It would only be a small scruffle of warning.

Nala sat up at the approach of the male. Her tail flicking side to side.

The cubs had been napping but were now wide awake. They ranged from 2 months of age to 10 months.

Adanya, Hondo, Eshe, Denisha, and Bahiti

Adanya had been laying there sunning herself when she heard someone approaching her and the others. Her eyes flickered open as she spotted the hybrid male. She had never seen a lion like him... Though, she was not one to be aggressive towards others really. Sure, she was the one of the group that knew the most about pride life but she had still been young when she had been taken from there. Though, she had nothing against this male. When the male was then attacked by Sarabi, she just watched in silence. Though, she was unsure as to why that had happened.

Hondo stopped playing with the younger cub as he heard the scuffle. Though, he only watched in silent confusion.

Eshe ignored the scuffle and continued to playfully attack Hondo.

Denisha grew slightly uncomfortable as the new male approached where she was sunning herself. She wasn't sure why, but it was her instincts kicking in telling her to protect her young. After all most male lions would kill another's young on sight but she didn't know that. She watched the scuffle that broke out without moving to stop it.

Bahiti heard the scuffle from a little ways away where she was drinking. She approached rather quickly and looked to the others curiously. What's going on?

Sideskill & Sundown

'Great, she looks like she wants to talk!' Sideskill thought to himself with a smile as Sarabi got up and began to approach him. By now, he had most of the females looking at him, from Adanya to Denisha, and as a result, he puffed his chest out a little and carried his head a bit higher. The ruddy male was the picture of confidence when Sarabi launched her attack, and all in a flash, that confidence melted away and left Sideskill yowling in alarm and attempted to spring back away from the lioness. "Yeooow!" He hit the ground under the force of the lunge and slapped once or twice at the female as he tried to scramble up from under her and leap away from her claws and teeth...

Sarabi

Sarabi had to make it clear that any funny business would not be tolerated and she didn't entirly like how he approached the group. His paw hit her once on the face and she lashed out again. Until he either shower her his stomach and turned and tucked his tail and moved away to start a new approach she wouldn't stop.
